Ground Forces Needed Against ISIS Says....John Kerry?

by JASmius

Ah, but he didn't say WHOSE ground forces are needed.  Thought we Genghis Khans weren't listening very closely, didn't ya, Johnny?:

Ground forces eventually will be needed in the fight against the Islamic State (ISIS), Secretary of State John Kerry told CNN on Wednesday.

Kerry, in an interview with CNN's Christiane Amanpour, said ISIS "does need to be defeated.

Thus tacitly admitting that laughable pin-prick "airstrikes" aren't getting the job done, as they were never going to, and whose only purpose was to make us look weak and bolster ISIS's recruiting operations.

Wait for it....

"We need to increase the pressure on them," Kerry said, adding that specific ways to do that in concert with other countries in the area are being discussed.

Wait for it....

"There will need to be people on the ground," Kerry said, though he did not say whether they would be U.S. forces. [emphasis added]

Ding-ding-ding!

Nothing more to see here, folks.  Move along....
