#PoliceLivesMatter

by JASmius

This march that took place on Satuday in Houston, Texas, is interesting for at least two reasons.

One is their slogan:

Community members hosted a march Saturday in memory of Deputy Darren Goforth, who was gunned down at a gas station last month.

Community organizers said the message of the march is that "Police Lives Matter."

Marchers wore blue shirts and carried a banner that read, "Police Lives Matter" and "Undivided we march" with Goforth's image on the front....

The killing brought out strong emotions in the law enforcement community, with Harris County Sheriff Ron Hickman suggesting that it could have been influenced by heightened national tension over the treatment of blacks by police. Goforth was white and the man charged with killing him, Shannon Miles, is black. [emphasis added]

Not "could," Sheriff Hickman, "was".

Which brings us back to that slogan: "Undivided we march".  The "law enforcement community" is the proverbial "rainbow," after all.  There are cops of every race, creed, color, ethnicity, and both genders.  It is the antithesis of the racist, communist, terrorist network known as "Black Lives Matter," and that's what "Police Lives Matter" is all about: unifying the American people instead of dividing us along every demographic fault line imaginable, in the greatest colorblind tradition of Dr. Martin Luther King, healing those rifts instead of splintering and fracturing and widening them in a gyre of violence and destruction and civil war.

Or, in other words, what Barack Obama - the "great and powerful Oz" behind the "black" curtain, pulling the strings on this burgeoning race war - claimed he was going to do if he become POTUS.

And the other interesting thing about the PLM march?

One day PLM and BLM marches are going to collide.  And something tells me that is going to be very "newsy".

Although BLM was nowhere to be seen this past fine Friday in Houston.  I wonder why?

Hmmmm.....
