Hillary Clinton On Donald Trump: "He's My Secret Weapon"

by JASmius

I'm compensating for Her Nib's BS-injector in the headline, of course, on both the glaringly obvious La Clinton Nostra "Ross Perot" gambit that handed Bill his two terms on top, and the general principle that the truth is always the diametric opposite of anything Hillary Clinton says.

All of which explains this quote quite nicely:

Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton wants to set the record straight on Donald Trump: "We were not friends."

"We knew each other, obviously, in New York," [Mrs.] Clinton, a former U.S. senator from New York, said in excerpts of a People magazine interview released on Wednesday. "I knew a lot of people."

Trump, the real estate billionaire whose standing as Republican front-runner was [expos]ed by a second-place finish in the Iowa caucuses on Monday, had long touted his friendship with Bill and Hillary Clinton. People cited a 2014 Fox News interview in which Trump said he liked both Clintons "a lot."

Of course he does - not did, but does.  They're big-time, famous, "important" (in his mind), powerful people.  And, of course, fellow Democrats.  That's the kind of person he's always wanted to be, and his ego will not tolerate him not becoming.  Becoming wealthy beyond the dreams of avarice isn't enough; being able to buy any and all politicians isn't enough; Trump wants to become THE politician that all the other pieces of gutter trash of his ilk want to buy.

The Clintons couldn't help but recognize this and his potential for creating party-disintegrating chaos in the GOP, whether as a third-candidate independent in the general election or as the actual Republican nominee.  So, much as Trump revels in telling conservative voters precisely what they want to hear without ever meaning a single syllable of it, so his friends Bill and Hillary - Bill, specifically - planted the seeds of Trumpmania nine months ago by making subtle, passive suggestions that he finally take the plunge around which he'd been tap-dancing for years, and run for president as a "Republican".  Not strong-arming or ordering him to do so, but, to borrow Nick Fury's catch-phrase from The Avengers, giving Trump the "push" by letting him come to that conclusion on his own so that his ego would assimilate it and make him forget who steered him in that direction and everything else other than that it was always his own idea.  When, of course, it was not.

For all of Trump's nincompoopery about Ted Cruz being some sort of "Manitoban Candidate," it is he who is the unwitting puppet.  And like Ultron, he doesn't even realize the strings that are attached to him.

So when you hear back and forth rhetoric like this....

In November Trump said Hillary Clinton did not have strength or stamina to be president and he called her the worst U.S. [commissar] of state, a post she held from 2009 to 2013.

When [Mrs.] Clinton denounced Trump last month as using inflammatory rhetoric, saying he has "demonstrated a penchant for sexism," Trump turned the phrase against her, using it to refer to Bill Clinton's sexual scandals as president.

....remember the two sources of it: Two Democrats who stand for absolutely nothing and will do and say ANYTHING to get the ONE thing both of them crave like a vampire does blood: POWER.

One of them is simply pretending to be a Republican.

Here's hoping that clarifies matters, New Hampshire GOP voters.  Because you're never going to get a better straight-talk reality check than that.
