ObamaCare To Force Fewer Employers To Offer Health Plans

by JASmius

This vid makes as good a lede as any....

The [Una]ffordable Care Act may lead to fewer employers offering health plans, according to a report by the Congressional Budget Office, a nonpartisan agency that forecasts budgets and costs of legislation.

"As a result of the [U]CA, between four million and nine million fewer people are projected to have employment-based coverage each year from 2017 to 2026 than would have had such coverage if the [U]CA had never been enacted," said the report.

In other words, precisely because ObamaCare is exploding the cost of health insurance, it is reducing the percentage of Americans with health insurance coverage than would have been the case if it had never been inflicted upon the country - precisely as it was intended to do.

Today, employers cover 155 million people, about 57% of those under sixty-five. The report predicts that will decline to 152 million by 2019.

Through ObamaCare, some workers might qualify for Medicaid, and employers might [will] choose to drop coverage because a government option is available. However, larger employers will face fines if they choose to do that.

Which are dramatically less costly than the group plan premiums themselves.  Because the Obamunists know very well how economics and cost incentives work, and they built that expertise into the Unaffordable Care Act.

And, by the way, according to the American Media Institute Newswire, the overall cost of ObamaCare has been readjusted upward again from last year's estimate by another $136 billion.  Which means that O's arms are now too short....

....for his fingers to reach his nostrils for all that tasty rhino-mining.

When the illegal delaying of the unconstitutional Employer Mandate kicks in, ladies and gentlemen - after November 8th, of course - that's when the political earthquake is going to hit.  And that WILL be an "extinction level event", but only for its victims - i.e. thee and me.
