Political Warfare

By Douglas V. Gibbs

I don't just fight the good fight because I think we will win. Yes, I am an optimist, and I think we can turn this around. But, sometimes it feels like a losing battle. It feels like the liberal left has so many weapons that we will need a Superman, or a Neo, to beat the machine. In the end, however, evil cannot ultimately win. They cannot win if we are actively resisting.

Sitting on the couch and complaining is not an effective strategy. Evil can only gain ground when we stand down, and allow it to gain ground.

Evil clothes itself in the illusion of victory, not to convince itself that it is winning, but to convince you that it is winning. The strategy demoralizes us, slows our efforts, causes us to lower our defenses, and our offensive weapons.  This is why the enemy uses deception.  If they were to reveal who they really are, they would never win a single inch.

Power without action is powerless, so to win, we must act. We must never give in, and never give up. If we put our faith in the protection of divine Providence, and remember that the truth is on our side, we cannot be beaten. We can be set back, we may lose battles, but in the end, the war belongs to us.

  1. It IS a losing battle. The Left IS winning, HAS won, regardless of our level of resistance. That's why the purpose of "fighting the good fight" should not carry with it any expectation of victory, but be undertaken because it's the right thing to do. "Leave it all out on the field," and all that.
