The Hard Way

By Douglas V. Gibbs

We are making the same mistakes our ancestors have made time and time again throughout history.  People don't learn from the experience of others.  We learn, when we do, the hard way.  While we believe we are changing things, we follow a similar path, and we usually don't get on the right path until people die.  Then, once corrected, we get fat, and go off course once again, truly believing once again we have achieved some benevolent, unknown change.
