I normally sleep through earthquakes, but for some reason this one woke me up. Here in Murrieta we really didn't even feel any shaking. It was a small, sudden jolt, and then we could hear it for a while rumbling. The house seemed to creak when the initial jolt hit. After making sure the grandkids were fine, I decided I would look this one up, and I couldn't get through to the website. It seems I wasn't the only one searching, and the many folks trying to learn about the quake had shut down the website.
I placed the earthquake at about 1:05 am.
At twenty after the hour I finally got through to one of the websites. It was three earthquakes all within in a minute of each other at Borrego Springs, a desert community almost directly due east. According to the indicators, the two larger of the three reached out to the Temecula area.
Times Pacific

Borrego Springs, California, United States
01:05:35, 10 JUN 2016, 5.2 magnitude, 11 km depth
Borrego Springs, California, United States
01:04:38, 10 JUN 2016, 5.1 magnitude, -1 km depth

By 1:30 am, the third quake at 5.2 had been removed, leaving us with two; the 3.5 and the 5.1 changed to 5.2.
At 1:35 am I noticed a series of smaller aftershocks. Anza is much closer to where I live. As I sat here, however, I did not feel any of the aftershocks.
