Shooting Against Police in Baton Rouge

Reports are coming in that in Baton Rouge there has been a shooting during which 3 law enforcement officers were killed.  Three other people were injured in the Sunday shooting.

While one suspect has been killed, two others remain at large.

The shooting occurred less than 1 mile from police headquarters.  The shooter was dressed in black in a manner similar to jihadists.  His face was covered.  The gunshots were indiscriminate as he walked out between a convenience store and car wash.  Witnesses have stated there were about 25 to 30 gunshots in the area of the convenience store.

The shooting began before police arrived, suggesting this shooting did not originally intend to target police.  Gunmen were in a shootout with each other when police got into the area.

President Obama will likely blame racism, and the police, for the incident - as he has with all of the other violence around the country.
