Liberal Left Sickness Reaching a Crescendo

By Douglas V. Gibbs

The truth is a moot point when it comes to the liberal left religious cult of progressivism.  The media lies, the politicians lie, the educators lie, and the Democrat Party voting sheep believe all of it regardless of how blatant and obvious the journey away from the truth is.

While this is nothing new, the blatant in-your-face nature of the liberal left's crimes are becoming ridiculously dangerous to our liberty, and American way of life.

The media has everyone convinced that during the Vietnam War the American People were largely against the war, and the troops never got a welcome home parade like the troops from World War II did.  Even those who lived through that time period believes the warped narrative of nonsense presented by the media, educators, and politicians.  The truth is actually the opposite of what the liberal left put out during the years of that historical military conflict in Southeast Asia.  Americans overwhelmingly supported the troops.  "Support the troops" rallies outnumbered the anti-war protests, and in 1973 a massive parade at Times Square in New York City, attracting hundreds of thousands, occurred.

Today, the media, educators, and political class (along with the entertainment industry) has everyone convinced (and a lot of them believe their own B.S.) that . . .

Democrats are tolerant and kind, and wish no harm upon nobody. . .

The liberal left agenda trumps any sense of decency.  Their cheers over the death of Supreme Court Antonin Scalia, an unapologetic conservative and constitutional constructionist, revealed the hypocrisy of the liberal left.  Ohio Senate candidate Ted Strickland (D) stated the death of the justice “happened at a good time.”

When he said he doesn’t wish anyone harm, the crowd laughed. They laugh again when he said it “happened at a good time.”

Democrats are only trying to teach your children to be tolerant and non-discriminatory. . .

In North Carolina a school district has created a “gender unicorn” to teach staff and faculty about gender identity, gender expression and transgenderism - you know, because somehow sexual behavior and the grim psychological disorder of transgenderism are now a new race, creed or color.

Schools are already forcing the homosexual agenda upon your children against the will of the parents, but now kids who are even in the earliest development of their school lives are being exposed to sexual lifestyles and transgenderism.  A protest against the North Carolina school district's plans to let transgender students use the pronouns, name and bathroom according to their gender identity has emerged, calling the school district's plan "really slick. It is friendly looking and deceitful because that unicorn, to me, represents the religion of sex. It is silencing and penalizing those of us who believe we were created male and female and should be able to use those terms."

Supporters of the homosexual and transgender agenda insertion into our schools have said, "If you don't like it, send your kids to private schools."

The agenda is forcing its way into those schools, as well, so soon you won't have that option.

The Equity in Higher Education Act bill (SB 1146) introduced by Democrat California State Senator Ricardo Lara of the Los Angeles area seeks to force religious schools to comply with the demands of the homosexual and transgender narrative. . . or else.

Democrats support your right to disagree with them, and are willing to shout it out from the mountaintops their willingness to defend your freedom of speech and freedom of political opinion. . .

Before I moved to AM Radio in 2011 my radio program aired on BlogTalkRadio (since February of 2007).  On the early episodes, during the Spring of 2007, a liberal left listener who went by the moniker "Mudkitty" frequented my program.  She called into the show so much that she was practically a co-host.  While she disagreed with me pretty much on every political topic, she often exclaimed that she also appreciated me, and would defend my right to say what I felt I needed to say by shouting it from the mountaintops, if necessary.  Such was the opinion of many political opponents of mine from when I first got politically involved in my youth, to the time approaching the presidency of Barack Obama.

During the presidency of the second George Bush, we could see the attitude of the liberal left shifting, changing, becoming less tolerant of opinion that opposed theirs.

In the 2016 Election Cycle, the left's rhetoric has gotten so bad that they don't even try to hide their blinding hatred of "the other side".
At a press event in Dubai to promote his latest film Suicide Squad, actor Will Smith called the present presidential race "insanity," but welcomes it because, “As painful as it is to hear Donald Trump talk and as embarrassing as it is as an American to hear him talk, I think it’s good.  We get to know who people are and now we get to cleanse it out of our country.”
Smith also said his appearance in Dubai was itself a rebuke to “Islamophobia” in America.
“In terms of Islamophobia in America, for me that’s why it’s important to show up,” he said.
“The Middle East can’t allow Fox News to be the arbiter of the imagery, you know,” Smith added. “So cinema is a huge way to be able to deliver the truth of the soul of a place to a global audience.”
Smith has increasingly spoken up in opposition to Trump’s candidacy in recent weeks. In an interview with Australian news outlet news.com.au earlier this month, the actor said that a “separatist, non-inclusive, racist, xenophobic wave” is currently sweeping the globe and pulling society further apart.
“For a man to be able to publicly refer to a woman as a fat pig, that makes me teary,” Smith told the news website, referring to Trump’s long-running feud with actress Rosie O’Donnell. “My grandmother would have smacked my teeth out of my head if I had referred to a woman as a fat pig. And I cannot understand how people can clap for that. It’s absolutely collective insanity.”
In an appearance on The Tonight Show last month, Smith expressed hope that the country could undergo a similar “cleansing,” as racist incidents are increasingly captured on film across America
“When everything gets out, it’s a good thing,” Smith told Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon. “It just sucks bad when the truth is out. But I think everybody can see it now. And I think it’s just a little darkness before the cleansing that we’ll have as we move forward.”
It is interesting that he used the word "cleanse," after speaking so favorably about Islam.  Muslims use the word "cleanse," as well.  There is a kind of cleansing Islam conducts through death and terror, to eliminate all those who stand against Islam, and against those who refuse to bow at the false prophet Muhammad's feet.

The insinuation by Will Smith's statement that America needs to be "cleansed" of all those who stand against liberalism is a serious one.  Trump's desire to "ban Muslims from immigrating into the United States" because we can't tell the good from the bad, and "enforce America's immigration laws" because we can't tell the good from the bad when it comes to who is crossing the border is, according to Will Smith, "embarrassing" and somehow un-American - and that kind of thinking needs to be exposed, and cleansed from the American political landscape.

Article 1, Section 9 of the United States Constitution grants the authority to Congress to pass legislation that may prohibit persons from migrating into the United States.  The country did exactly that in World War II, banning Germans, Italians, and Japanese from immigrating into the country as we fought a war against their countries.  Did the U.S. Government ban those folks because we are insensitive?  Racist?  No.  It was because, as with Muslims and illegal aliens, we couldn't tell the good from the bad.

For disagreeing with the liberal left, who believes we should have no borders and anyone should be able to cross into this country freely and without any limitations, according to Will Smith, you should be "cleansed" from existence in the United States.

Either re-educated, or eliminated.

Forced to comply, or wiped out.

So much for tolerance of opposing opinions.

Islam is the Religion of Peace and Christian Churches in America have nothing to worry about. . .

Father Josiah Trenham has been a friend of mine for years.  He is the lead pastor of St. Andrew Orthodox Church in Riverside, California.  When he popped up on Fox News, recently, I took notice.  When I read why he was being featured on Fox News, I almost felt like running out and screaming at my liberal left friends, "I told you so!"

The incident in front of his church caused several parishioners to scoop up their babies, and retreat up the aisles of the church in fear their crying children may disturb the divine liturgy.

While the incident carried with it no terrorist-style violence, for some the incident was a menacing shadow of things to come.

Although Trenham insisted multiple congregants heard the Arabic phrase "Allahu Akbar", the police report noted no mention of it.

“Be calm and to keep a special vigilance over the property and our children while we are at church,” Trenham wrote in an email to parishioners in which he recounted the disturbing event. “Pray that these provocative young men might repent of their intimidation and be saved.”

Trenham told FoxNews the situation remains “tense and tenuous,” and said the church now has security officers on hand for all regular services.

"It is a deep sorrow to live this way in the 'new America,’” he said.

The incident took place on April 12, about four months after a terror attack left 14 dead in nearby San Bernardino.

The reality for Christians is that in the United States, rather than offering sanctuary from evil, churches may now be serving as attractive targets for terror.

"Many churches are now hiring self-defense instructors for classes or security guards that include off-duty police," said Ryan Mauro, a professor of Homeland Security at Liberty University and national security analyst for the Clarion Project. "If you are an Islamist terrorist seeking self-glory, executing a priest will bring you more attention than executing an average civilian."

The murder of Priest Jacques Hamel at a Normandy church in France on July 26 shows that Muslims may be willing to target Christian churches with violence in the future.

In February, Khial Abu-Rayyan, 21, of Dearborn Heights, Mich., was arrested after he told an undercover FBI agent he was preparing to "shoot up" a major church near his home on behalf of ISIS. A month earlier, the Rev. Roger Spradlin of Valley Baptist Church – one of the biggest congregations in Bakersfield, Calif. – told attendees that they had received a threat written in Arabic.

Last September, an Islamic man clad in combat gear was charged with making a terrorist threat after entering Corinth Missionary Baptist Church, in Bullard, Tex., and claiming that God had instructed him to kill Christians and "other infidels." A year earlier, police were called to Saint Bartholomew's Catholic Church in Columbus, Ind., after the house of worship was vandalized with the word "Infidels!" along with a Koranic verse sanctioning death for nonbelievers. Similar graffiti was found that same night at nearby Lakeview Church of Christ and East Columbus Christian Church.

Synagogues have faced increasing threats in recent years, too. Earlier this year, the FBI disrupted a plot by a Muslim convert to blow up the Aventura Turnberry Jewish Center, in Aventura, Fla. A 2014 audit by the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) found that anti-Semitic incidents rose 21 percent across the country that year.

Eastern Orthodox Christians, who in many cases suffered persecution at the hands of radical Muslims in their Middle Eastern homelands, believe they may be singled out because of their heritage. Mass at St. Andrew typically attracts up to 400 worshippers with Christian roots in Syria, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Russia and Greece.

"We have guards now; we never used to have guards,” said St. Andrew attendee Solomon Saddi, a Syrian-American Christian. “They keep an eye on everyone and talk to the faces that aren't familiar," he continued, referring to the aftermath of the April incident. "It is a very dangerous time for us even in America."

--------------

The truth is obvious, but the religious cult of liberal left statism rejects the truth, and claims that none of what is happening is actually happening. . . as they project who they truly are on their political opponents.
