Debate: Hillary's Gun Show Loophole

In the second of three Presidential Debates in 2016 the issue of honesty seemed to constantly permeate the verbal volleys between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump.  Nearly the entire debate we heard the doubts regarding the truthfulness of the other candidate being tossed back and forth by each candidate.  It almost sounded like two bickering children.

"No, you're lying."

"No, you're a liar."

"No, it's you, it's you!  Nanny nanny boo boo!"

While Hillary has repeatedly called for fact-checking, Trump reminded us that even the members of the media who are supposed to be the fact-checkers have honesty issues.  Heck, even Martha-what's-her-name as a so-called non-partisan moderator of the debate began arguing with Trump with a dishonest attack at one point during the second Presidential Debate on Sunday, October 9, 2016.

Trump was right when he said this debate was a 3 on 1 tag team against him.  Anderson Cooper simply attacked Trump with a little more class than Martha did.

Yeah, that's pretty amazing how Anderson Cooper does it.  He's the only member of media I know who can make you look like a pile-high turd, and leave you feeling appreciative about how he went about it.

Among the issues, the Democrats are constantly trying to fact-check Mr. Trump. . . trying to make it sound like you can't trust a word that comes out of his mouth.  But, what about Hillary, who has made a life that is based on lies.  Her marriage is a lie.*  Her entire political career has been propped up by lies.**  Even her life has a lawyer is filled with lies.***

The fact, or non-fact, depending upon how you look at it, when it comes to an issue that concerns the voters of the United States that hasn't been getting any attention accompanies Hillary Clinton's anti-gun stance.  She opened tonight's gun control statement with "I love the Second Amendment," but that was followed by a "but", which means she doesn't value the Second Amendment. . . it does end with "shall not be infringed", right?  There are no "buts" about it.

According to Hillary Clinton, that's not acceptable.

Any federal attempt to infringe upon the right to keep and bear arms is unconstitutional, and every federal gun law. . . including background checks, are illegal.****

Nonetheless, federal gun laws exist, and we have to abide by them until the federal government is reduced in size, and returns to its original constitutional form.  That said, under current federal gun laws, regardless of what Hillary Clinton says, there is no such thing as a "gun show loophole" - or at least it doesn't exist in a manner the Democrats imply it does.

Let's stop for a moment to remind ourselves of something.

Democrats like Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama believe that the federal government is the center of everything.  If the federal government doesn't do it, it can't happen.  If you, or anyone else, is able to do anything, it should only be because the federal government allowed it. . . because, for whatever it is, to be successful, the federal government must be the guiding factor.  States can't be trusted.  Individuals can't be trusted.  Only the elite ruling class of the federal government can be trusted.

Okay, back to our conversation. . .

Typically, at a gun show, only federally licensed dealers are allowed to participate.  Some gun sellers at gun shows are individuals.  I've seen them walking around with the gun they have for sale slung over their shoulder.  Technically, even those individual to individual sales are supposed to be scrutinized by federal regulation (and State regulation).  In some States, however, there are some person to person sales that are allowed without a background check.  Some long rifles, in particular, usually fall under this "loophole."  This is not a "gun show loophole."  This is an allowance in some States for one person to sell to another person (of the same residency of the same State) certain firearms in which that particular State allows person to person sales of without a background check, and is not fully covered by federal regulations.

Here's what it comes down to.  There are some sales, and other transfers of ownership, that the federal government doesn't know about, that is perfectly legal, and it drives Democrats nuts.  Their call to "end the gun show loophole" is another way of saying that they don't like the fact that some guns are purchased without their knowledge, and that not all transfers of ownership falls under federal control.  In other words, the Democrats (without actually saying it) are pushing for a full scale, no exceptions, national registry.

In history, the enactment of a national gun registry has always led to full gun confiscation, and more often than not, once the populace is unarmed, the establishment of an authoritarian regime using force and violence to control the unarmed populace.

Therefore, when listening to crooked Hillary, understand this when she, or any Democrat, calls out for an "end to the gun show loophole" - it is their intent to kill the Second Amendment, take away your access to your God-given right to keep and bear arms, create a national registry, and take away every American's ability to defend themselves against a rising tide of authoritarianism.

The only thing left after that would be to outlaw all opposition, and establish the Democrats as the single ruling party. . .
