President George H.W. Bush Back in Hospital

By Douglas V. Gibbs

President George H.W. Bush, also known as Bush 41, or "Daddy Bush," is back in a Texas hospital, this morning.  While no details regarding his exact condition has not been provided, a spokesperson for Bush has stated that the former President is fine and should be going home soon.

Earlier in the year Bush fought a bout of pneumonia, and while in ICU was placed on a ventilator.  The time in the hospital last January led to Daddy Bush missing the inauguration of President Donald Trump on January 20.

Bush, 93 years old, suffers from a form of Parkinson's disease, and requires a motorized scooter or wheelchair to get around.  The Houston resident's last public appearance was when he performed the coin flip at the Super Bowl in February shortly after his release from the hospital earlier this year.
