Bernie Sanders Bans Christians from Government Positions

In 2012, the Democrat Party removed God from their platform.  After outrage convinced them it might have been a bad idea, a vote was taken to return God to the platform.  The vote was close.  Too close to call.  But, the powers that be decided to add God back to the platform, and the crowd booed and hissed regarding the decision.

The disdain for Christianity in the Democrat Party continues to this day, recently rearing its head through the Democrat Party's most famous self-identified socialist, Bernie Sanders.

The candidate for office of deputy director of the Office of Management and Budget is not an appropriate nominee, according to Sanders, because he dares to be a Christian, and espouse Christian ideals.

“This nominee is not what this country is supposed to be about,” Sanders said of Russell Vought.

The nominee is not what Sanders believes is good for the country because Vought is a Christian and he actually believes the central teaching of Christianity.  Therefore, according to Bernie Sanders, he is unfit for the office of deputy director of the Office of Management and Budget.

Sanders came to his conclusion based on an article in The Resurgent by Vought. In it, Vought defended the honor of his alma mater, the Christian school Wheaton College, in part by refuting the notion that Christians and Muslims “worship the same God.”

To Sanders, Vought's position is discriminatory and offensive.  The Muslims say Allah is the same being as the Christian God, so, we are required to believe them.

If Vought's belief in Christianity, and the principles of the Bible, is enough to convince Sanders that Vought is not right for the office President Trump nominated him to, does Bernie believe anyone who believes in the Christian Faith should be disqualified from public service because of their religious beliefs?

While Sanders is confirming for us what the Democrats are really all about, Vought is likely to still get the post.  Both Houses of Congress, after all, have a Republican majority.  But, how horrifying is it that the Democrats continue to zero in on the central tenets of the Christian faith and now demand to know if the person in question actually believes the "fantasies" of Christianity?  Will they begin asking if one believes homosexuality is a sin, and if they say "yes" then they are disqualified for that, as well?

Oh, wait, supporting Trump is an even greater sin to the liberal left.  Just ask the Gays for Trump group who was disqualified for participating in a Gay Pride Parade Event because of their Trump support.

To be honest, the eco-sexuals are even more alarming. . . but are a logical progression of sexual deviancy begun by the effort to normalize homosexuality.
