Trump: Sessions Should Have Never Recused Himself

When Russia decided to quit openly calling themselves communist, the Democrats and the mainstream media suddenly decided they were suddenly the enemy.  Therefore, anyone who talked to anyone that has anything to do with Russia from the Trump administration before the election is guilty of colluding with the enemy.

Perfect scapegoat.

As the Democrats meddled with the election, and spied on Trump and his team, they blamed Russia.

Russia, Russia, Russia.

The perfect scapegoat.

If there was "interference" with our election by the Russians, then that means Trump is not a legitimate president, and he must then be removed.  Besides, the Russians obviously can't be trusted because, as the narrative goes, the Russians were the ones hacking into our system to reveal truth about Hillary and Obama, and the revealing of Hillary's corruption cost her the election, and that is not acceptable.

So, getting back to the idea that it is now a political crime if you are a Republican or a part of the Trump team to have had any conversation with anyone from the Russian government before the election, there must be investigations, resignations, and a complete stop to anything and everything the Trump administration is trying to do.  Then, during all of these distractions, despite evidence to the contrary, Trump's White House and the GOP Congress will also be accused of being a do-nothing team.

Under pressure because he had at one time long ago spoken to a Russian ambassador, on March 3rd of this year, Jeff Sessions announced he would recuse himself from any investigation regarding Russian "interference" in our election.

Why did he recuse himself?  Had Sessions committed a crime?  No.  In fact, recusing himself was the worse thing he could have done, because it gave a perceived level of credibility to the ridiculous and baseless charges being thrown around by the hard left liberal progressive cry-baby Democrats.

Sessions had a conversation with a Russian ambassador.

Hillary Clinton sold uranium to Russia. Holder put guns in the hands of the Mexican Cartel with the Fast and Furious scandal.  Hillary and Barack Obama watched without sending any help as Americans were slaughtered in Benghazi as a result of the Democrat Party's gun running operation in Libya that ultimately armed Syrian rebels who eventually became ISIS.  Loretta Lynch met secretly with Bill Clinton on a private jet where no eyes and ears could know what was said the day before the FBI questioned Hillary.  Then, afterward, the FBI gave Hillary a pass.

And the Democrats are freaking out because Sessions had a conversation with a Russian ambassador? It was his job. When Sessions spoke with Kislyak in July and September, the senator was a senior member of the influential Armed Services Committee.

The investigation is a sham, and Sessions had no reason to recuse himself in the first place. Trump agrees, and recently indicated that Sessions should have never recused himself, and that decision has made him question appointing Sessions to his current role.

The thing is, technically Trump was right when he said Sessions should have not recused himself, and if he'd known he was going to do it, he wouldn't have chosen Sessions as his Attorney General.  The recusal made matter worse.  It lended credibility to the garbage the Democrats are attacking Trump with.

That does not mean Trump wants Sessions gone, and I think Sessions understands the statement was not an attack, but simply a simple statement of fact.

The Democrats are seeking to attack and destroy the Trump administration, and they are trying to find any way they can to create discontent among the members of the GOP.  So, the statement by Trump is being labeled as a self-destructive act, and is being used as evidence that the White House is in disarray, when the truth is nothing of the sort.

"How do you take a job and then recuse yourself?" Trump asked rhetorically. "If he would have recused himself before the job, I would have said, 'Thanks, Jeff, but I’m not going to take you.'"

Get over it, mainstream media.  It wasn't an attack against Sessions, just a verbalization of the obvious.  I am thinking, now that Sessions has a massive load of hindsight, that if he was in Trump's shoes he would believe the same way.  He probably would have not verbalized it, as Trump did, but he would have been thinking the same thing.
