Christopher Wray is likely our next FBI Director, a seat that was opened up when James Comey was fired by President Donald Trump. Comey's two instances of false testimony, and admittance that he was a leaker, likely led to the firing. The liberal media claims Trump was trying to obstruct justice. Comey's memo, which came out after Comey testified during the first week of May that nobody attempted to obstruct the investigation, was dated months prior to that testimony. Either, the memo is a lie, or Comey lied under oath in early May. Either way, Comey is a liar, and deserved to be canned.
Christopher Wray is Trump's nominee to replace Comey as the Director of the FBI, and while on the surface, for everyone to see, the scuttlebutt is that Wray is a person that makes both sides happy, and the Senate Judiciary Committee voted unanimously Thursday to recommend the confirmation of Christopher Wray to be the next FBI director, in truth, Wray in the FBI Directorship seat should have many Democrats very nervous. . . especially Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama.

The bipartisanship we are seeing right now regarding the confirmation hearing in the U.S. Senate is likely being portrayed by the Democrats because Wray has indicated he plans to be very independent in the face of a stormy ideological war where the Democrats are willing to stop at nothing, even if it is illegal and unethical, to stop any progress by President Donald J. Trump. The Democrats want us to think they support someone who will be independent, and unmoved by the cacophony of battle going on around him. I believe they think they can influence Wray. As far as the Democrats are concerned, Wray is nothing more than a potential nuisance, and nothing more. His role in the investigation is essentially neutered, since the investigation is now being led by special counsel Robert Mueller, a former FBI director, himself. The Democrats also are resting a little easy on this one because Wray says he does not consider the investigation to be a witch hunt. He's saying exactly what they want to hear.
Judiciary Committee members said Thursday that they supported Wray because he told them he will stand up to any efforts by the Trump administration to try to interfere in Mueller's investigation. Trump has never tried to interfere, nor does he likely plan to, so that's an easy "make them happy to have me" statement to make. In truth, while the Democrats meant their questioning about interference in the investigation to be a slam against Trump, any candidate would answer that question the way that Wray did because any FBI Director should be willing to resign rather than comply with any order from the president to drop an investigation. That's just common sense.
Wray definitely has the background for the job, having graduated from an Ivy League School (Yale Law School, 1992), clerked for a justice on the 4th Circuit Court of Appeals, served as assistant U.S. attorney for the northern district of Georgia from 1997 through 2001, and then became the associate deputy attorney general of the United States, eventually leading the Department of Justice's criminal division.
Wray left the Justice Department in 2005 to join the private sector, and has been at a law firm ever since.
Donald Trump has called Wray an "impeccably qualified individual." He likely knows things we don't, and I believe Trump's vetting of Wray was extensive.
Trump likes him, and in truth, Wray makes people like Hillary Clinton very nervous.
Wray is an attorney with a ton of law enforcement experience. He's perfect for unveiling slippery and powerful criminals like the ones running the Democrat Party. While under President George W. Bush, Wray headed up the Criminal Division. He went after corporate fraud, financial fraud, drug traffickers, intellectual property thieves and distributors of child pornography. In short, no Democrat is safe from Wray's exceptional talents (and with that kind of a list of targets, for some reason the Clintons come to mind).
Comey was in Hillary's pocket, and Wray is not. Comey had no strength or guts to stand against the Democrat machine, Wray does.
One wonders, with Wray heading up the FBI, will the call to "lock her up" finally be fulfilled?
