Trump in Arizona

The violent opposition didn't shut down Trump in Arizona as the liberal media had hoped.  His campaign-style rally went forward, and his speech was very Trumpesque in the way his supporters have come to love.  He criticized his opponents, the media, and especially his challengers in the Republican Party.  

“If Republican Senate doesn't get rid of the Filibuster Rule & go to a simple majority, which the Dems would do, they are just wasting time!” Trump tweeted Wednesday morning.

This is not the first time Trump has suggested the GOP nix the rules allowing the minority party to demand a 60-vote threshold for cloture.  Republicans fear that changing the rule could come back and haunt them when the Democrats regain control of the Senate.  The problem is, the Republicans are not working with Trump as he would hope.  His legislative agenda is essentially stalled because of the inability of the Republicans to pull their craniums out of their posterior cavities.

Trump also had a few choice words for Arizona's members of the U.S. Senate.  First, he went after John McCain, though he didn't necessarily use his name.  In reference to the ObamaCare "skinny repeal" vote, “We were one vote away from repealing [ObamaCare].  They all said, Mr. President, your speech was so good last night, please, please, Mr. President don't mention any names. So I won't. I won't. No ... I will not mention any names.”

The "other senator", Jeff Flake, also received a few words for being "weak on borders, weak on crime.”

Trump had no problem using names later on Twitter.

“Phoenix crowd last night was amazing - a packed house. I love the Great State of Arizona. Not a fan of Jeff Flake, weak on crime & border!” Trump tweeted.

President Trump also said he believes the United States will “end up probably terminating” the North American Free Trade Agreement with Canada and Mexico at some point...Personally, I don’t think we can make a deal because we have been so badly taken advantage of.”

A few leftist protesters arrived to try and disrupt the event, but they didn't shut it down, and in the 107 degree heat, they were the ones instigating and carrying out violence.  They were punching Trump supporters, as CNN ignored the madness and instead ranted about Trump's sanity, again, and again, and again.  The police were the ones who had to deal with the violent leftists, filling the streets with tear gas in the hopes of getting things under control.

While the Democrats call Trump racist because he wants to enforce immigration law, which includes building a border wall, he also indicated we need to target illegals inside the country so that we may liberate American towns of gangs of illegals.

Overall, it was a good speech and a successful event that made the biased media look like idiots and biased ideologues once again.
