You Tube has a habit of making people angry. Their tendency to be politically correct, or censor against opinions that they stand in opposition to has been a subject of conversation quite a bit, of late. But, is their decision to run their business as they please enough to warrant a violent reaction? In the case of Nasim Aghdam, from her point of view, it was enough to send her into a shooting rampage. She walked into the YouTube headquarters in San Bruno near San Francisco and shot three people. She then turned the firearm on herself.
Aghdam, 39, was on law enforcement's radar prior to the shooting due to warnings presented by family members. At one point her father sent out a warning, and was questioned by police only hours before Nasim's murderous rampage.
To take out on You Tube her rage against the online media outlet she drove from Southern California to Northern California. Aghdam had addresses in both San Diego and Riverside County, with her most recent address of residence in the Temecula Valley region City of Menifee.
In response, YOU TUBE has increased their security at their offices.
While the mainstream media is focusing on her passions about fitness and veganism, and her apparently bizarre online activities, I am wondering if there are other connections in her life that may help in figuring out her motivation to become a mass shooter. Could her motivation be centered around a violent ideology? Was she instructed on how to be a killer? Was there some kind of religious fervor connected to her willingness to lash out in a murderous manner against You Tube? In an image showing her channels, it shows a connection to "Farsi" and "Turkish" audiences. While the media is labeling this shooting as the reaction of a radical vegan, I believe it was actually a case of Islamic terrorism.
