Corona Constitution Class: Resumption

Tonight the Corona Constitution Class will resume meeting at CARSTAR/AllStar Collision.

6:00 pm, 522 Railroad Street, Corona, CA

We will resume where we left off next week.  This week we will discuss the constitutional implications regarding what has been going on with the coronavirus and the rioting.

While I do not demand face masks or social distancing (and in fact I have been very critical of the coronavirus scamdemic), the landlord asks that we take into consideration being safe, and taking appropriate actions if we determine it is necessary.

Looking forward to seeing you tonight.

No Face Masks Required

By Douglas V. Gibbs
Author, Speaker, Instructor, Radio Host

I have a face covering.  It is a "round the neck pulled it up to your face" kind used when out riding dirt bikes.  It has a skull on it, and I have worn it, perhaps, half a dozen times during this entire COVID scamdemic.

I wore it mostly at stores where they would just not leave me alone, and they were the only place I could buy a particular product.  For the most part, if a business requires me to wear the mask, and refuses to work with me otherwise, they lose my business.

It took me going to five shoe stores before I found one who didn't jump all over me for not wearing a face covering.  The shoes were a little more expensive, there, but they got my business.

California Governor Gavin Newsom "ordered" us recently to wear our masks in public, so the hysteria has gotten a little more nuttier.  I have been told a number of times, "it's the law."

Newsom can't make law.  His orders hold no legal power because there is no legislative backing.  Besides, since when can government, even if it was a law, mandate for me to wear a particular piece of clothing?  What's next?  Are they going to order me to wear an arm band with a Democrat "D" on it?

I usually walk with a cane, and I am hard of hearing due to being deaf in my left ear and suffering from very loud tinnitus, as a result of my military service.  But, I am only considered 80% disabled, so I don't get a nice blue disabled placard.  That's fine.  I can walk, and usually I can hear with my right ear, or at least I can if someone is not wearing a stupid mask.  Seeing a person's lips help, and the voice being clearer and louder without a mask helps, too.

Today, when we went to Wal-Mart, who has been ridiculous about the masks, but not authoritarian about them, it turned out that our local store has gone completely to the dark side.

At the entrance a woman told me I could not go in because I was not wearing a mask.  My maskless wife said, "we are exempt, he needs to see my lips to communicate with me."

We entered, and another Wal-mart employee began barking at me.  My wife repeated the line, and then we walked in despite the employee's continue objection.  I was waiting for her to tackle me, but it never happened.

Once in the store we were the only people, employees and customers, not wearing masks.  I kind of chuckled under my breath, as I mouthed the word, "sheep."

When asking employees things, when they replied, if my wife was not at my side, I would motion to them to drop their mask, saying, "I am hard of hearing, I don't know what you are saying."

It's kind of a fun interesting twist that in this age of totalitarian masks, I am getting people to remove theirs in order to talk to me.

Then, as we were leaving, I noticed they are still doing the "in one entrance and out a different entrance" technique.  By the time we were nearing our vehicle, I was really starting to hurt from the long walk.  Though I don't have a handicapped placard, my wife usually circles parking lots a long while to try to park as close as possible.  We had nailed the first space on the other side of the handicapped spaces near the entrance, and felt fortunate for having done so.

Having to go out of a different exit than where I came in kind of killed that whole strategy.  I looked and saw cars parked in handicapped stalls, and wondered if they were hurting due to the longer walk, too.  So, as we finally reached the entrance from the exit while walking to our vehicle, I said to the girl sitting there who was making sure everyone had a mask on, "I know you have nothing to do with it, but you might want to tell your superiors that they are probably in violation of the Disabled Person's Act making us walk so far by limiting the exits we have available to us."

She looked at me with deer in the headlights eyes, and then a patron entering the store yelled at me, "Put on your mask, a**hole!"

I simply replied, "Sorry, couldn't hear you, could you come here and take off your mask so I know what you said?"

He flipped me off, and then entered the store.

On the way home I got flipped off again.  The person was wearing a mask while alone in their own car.  What a mindless lemming.  My "Trump 2020" sticker in my window probably prompted the angry finger-assault.  I just grinned at them, and waved, as they passed me.  I noticed they had a "Biden" sticker on their back bumper, and a "Black Lives Matter" sticker in their window.  That explained everything.  I was wondering if they had enough sense left to find their way home.

Racism and Slavery, and some inconvenient truths

By Douglas V. Gibbs
Author, Speaker, Instructor, Radio Host

Racism exists in our culture.  It exists in every culture.  There will always be those who take so much pride in who they are that they either mistake it as being the result of their race or ethnicity, or they do it because it is culturally expected among their peers.  I can’t count how many times I’ve come across folks that I don’t necessarily consider racist, and then suddenly they break out the “black pride” or “brown pride” slogan.  Of course, that is usually not considered racist.  Our current culture has largely come to the conclusion that those who have suffered from racism can’t be racist, therefore, the only people capable of racism is white people.

I remember when I was in construction one of the new workers on a jobsite had shorts on and on his calf was a tattoo that said, “white pride.”  A Mexican co-worker asked him during break, “are you racist, or somethin’?”

The young man with the tattoo said, “You have a brown pride bumper sticker on your truck because you are proud to be brown, but you don’t think it’s racist, do you?”

The young Mexican kid replied, “No, I’m just proud of my heritage.”

The blonde kid grinned.  “So am I.”

The book, White Fragility by Robin DiAngelo, without any proof, or truly knowing what you think inside your own skull, wrote that all white people are racist.  If you deny it, that too is a sign of your racism.  That attitude has essentially become the conventional wisdom in the world, and especially in the United States.  White people, after all, practiced slavery, and nothing can be more racist than that.

I suppose one can argue that reverse racism exists, also, and if anything, racism against whites is more prevalent, but nobody would believe you.  You know, because only white people can be racist.

The anger of black society against whites for the advent of slavery continues to burn, we are told.  Reparations must be paid, it has been said by some radicals.  White people, who in this era have never owned slaves, need to pay restitution to black people, who in this era were never slaves, due to the fact that white people used to own slaves in the United States between the time of the first colonies all the way until slavery was ended in America after the War Between the States.

Then, to show pride in their African ancestry, we have seen the emergence of terms like “African-American,” and in some cases blacks in America shrouding themselves in African garb.  For me that is very curious, because if the black community is so angry with white people for owning slaves in the early part of American History, shouldn’t they be even angrier with Africa for selling them into slavery in the first place?  It wasn’t like white slave traders showed up and simply plucked the potential slaves out of the African population like a shopper picking a product off of a shelf.  The African tribes, chiefs, or somebody who was indigenous to the African landscape, had to make the offer.  The Africans sold the people picked up by slave traders.  Shouldn’t members of the black community be mad at Africa for selling their ancestors into slavery?

How about Islam?  Slavery has always been a big part of the Muslim culture, and slavery is still practiced in Islamic countries to this day.

According to Jack Kerwick, writing for Townhall, July 21, 2016, in an article titled, Racially Incorrect Facts Regarding Race and Slavery, “the very first legal slave owner in America was one Anthony Johnson—a black man.”

Kerwick goes on to explain in his article (using a flood of links as resources), “Relative to their numbers in the population (27 million according to the 1860 census), a miniscule number of whites owned slaves. Eight million whites lived in the South, but of these, fewer than 325,000 owned slaves. What this means is that only 1.4 percent of the total white population consisted of slave owners, and only 4.8 percent of the white Southern population did so.”

That means that as we approached the War Between the States, less than five percent of the whites in the Confederate States of America actually owned slaves.  Slave owners were also a minority among those who signed the Declaration of Independence, and of those who signed the U.S. Constitution, as well.

Then, Kerwick provides a shocking revelation.  He wrote, “In glaring contrast, in this same year, there were 4.5 million blacks living in America, and 500,000 blacks in the South. Over half of these—261, 988—were freed men. In the city of New Orleans alone, more than 3,000 blacks owned slaves. That is, 28 percent of the free black population consisted of slave holders.

“In 1830, the Census Bureau notes that free blacks owned more than 10,000 slaves in the states of Louisiana, Maryland, Virginia, and South Carolina.”

I am thinking a bunch of folks screaming in the name of Black Lives Matter may not know these facts.

Kerwick continues, “In some cities during some decades in the 19th century, more than 75 percent of the free black population was comprised of slave holders, and some of these black masters owned property in slaves that rivaled that of some of their wealthiest white counterparts while far exceeding that of most slave owners. The widow C. Richards and her son, to cite the most notable example, owned 152 slaves.”

It probably seemed normal to those black slave owners to own slaves, because to be honest, slavery was a common practice in Africa, as well.  If anything, slavery was more rampant in Africa, and the Muslim world.

In addition to owning black slaves, many of those black slave masters also owned white slaves.

According to Kerwick, “The majority of urban black slave owners were women.  Virtually all of the black slave masters were mulattoes who not only enslaved their darker brethren, but refused to marry or even attend church with freed men of darker hue.”

Discrimination among the black population based on darkness of skin continues to this day.  When I was a young child growing up in North Long Beach I can still remember some of the ramblings around me talking about the “dark-skinned gangs” and the “light-skinned gangs.”  Both groups were black gangs, but hated each other largely due to the shade of their skin.

“Europeans didn’t get involved with African slavery until the 15th century—very late in the game, historically speaking. For at least the preceding 800-900 years, Arab Muslims had been trafficking in African slaves—all, of course, as even Obama’s friend and black Harvard professor, Henry Louis Gates is at pains to show, with the cooperation of African leaders who had been enslaving their fellow Africans for even longer than this.

“In their Peoples and Empires in West Africa: West Africa in History, 1000-1800, George T. Stride and Caroline Ifeka show that while slavery was endemic throughout the continent, there were several groups like, to note just some examples, the Oyo, Kaabu, and the Imbangala peoples that were particularly ruthless and brutal at enslaving. Some African slave holders, as the black American thinker Thomas Sowell has noted as well, used their slaves as human sacrifices in religious rituals.”

It's also important to note that human sacrifice existed among the central American and South American tribes that the Spanish eventually wiped out.

“In his Black Rednecks, White Liberals, in a chapter titled, ‘The Real History of Slavery,’ Sowell’s commentary on the brutality of Arabic Muslims’ treatment of African slaves is particularly difficult to digest. Muslims, he says, ‘marched vast numbers of human beings from their homes [in Africa] where they had been captured to the places where they would be sold, hundreds of miles away, often spending months crossing the burning sands of the Sahara.’”

Sowell adds: “The death toll on these marches exceeded even the horrific toll on packed slave ships crossing the Atlantic.”

And don’t think that the Muslim hordes stopped at enslaving Africans.  Kerwin points out in his article that “books like Christian Slaves, Muslim Masters: White Slavery in the Mediterranean, The Barbary Coast, and Italy, 1500-1800 and White Slaves, African Masters: An Anthology of American Barbary Captivity Narratives confirm, so too were millions of white Europeans and, in the 19th century, white Americans.”

“After all, it’s not for nothing that the very word “slave” derives from the experience of mass enslavement suffered by the Slavs, i.e. white people.”

The United States Constitution was the first document to work to stem the slave trade, with a clause in Article I, Section 9 that was designed to outlaw the Atlantic Slave Trade.  The "white" American Congress followed through in 1808, passing legislation banning the import of slaves into the United States.  The abolitionist movement began in the northern States as America was becoming a country.  Benjamin Franklin's "Society of Friends" was the first organization to work on the abolition of slavery.  Thomas Jefferson was also a staunch abolitionist, despite the fact that he owned slaves.  In his case, he was the reluctant slave owner who had inherited most of his slaves, and could not afford to free them.  Of the slaves he bought, he did so to keep families together when he noticed the bidding at an auction was going to likely separate children from their parents.

For those of you who wish to argue that the Constitution is a pro-slavery document, Frederick Douglas, an escaped slave and ardent abolitionist, once said that he did not consider the U.S. Constitution as being a pro-slavery document.

As for the anger over racism we are seeing in today's culture, you will notice that the majority of the Black Lives Matter protesters are white liberals.  That's because Black Lives Matter has nothing to do with racism, and everything to do with trying to tear down the American System through violence, and a deconstruction of our history.  Why?  Because the movement is a Marxist movement fighting to end liberty in America and to put us all into political slavery under an authoritarian socialist system.

Black Lives Matter Marxist Connections Undeniable, Including Venezuela's Maduro

By Douglas V. Gibbs
Author, Speaker, Instructor, Radio Host

The Gateway Pundit, May 30th, reported the riots in Democrat-led cities around the country were coordinated and related to three main groups: 1)  US based Islamist Organizations, 2) Domestic terrorists, and 3) Other radical groups linked to the Democrat Party.

They’ve uncovered other individuals connected to the group BLM like the Clinton connected member of the Weather Underground, Susan Rosenberg.

Now they are reporting that one of the co-founders of BLM, Opal Tometi, is linked to Venezuelan communist dictator Maduro.

Gateway Pundit goes on to comment at the end of their article that "The riots are not about equality.  They are about a communist takeover of the greatest nation on earth – the USA – where even radical communists make a decent living."

Some interesting contradictions (BLM, COVID, Liberals, etc.)

By Douglas V. Gibbs
Author, Speaker, Instructor, Radio Host

As I was driving home last night I passed by a group of Black Lives Matter protesters.  They were shaking their signs, shaking their fists, and all of them were white kids who looked like they were either in high school, or college.  We do have a fairly good size black population in our area, but most of those folks are in the Navy, Marines, or Air Force (I am fairly close to the Navy Bases in San Diego, Camp Pendleton, and March Air Base in Riverside), but none of them had joined this group, probably because they know how stupid it all is.

The signs ranged from "Black Lives Matter" to "Avenge Floyd" to "F*** Trump" (you know, that word that rhymes with duck?) to "Dump Trump and Pence" to a sign with that raised black fist which, I doubt they realize, is a Marxist communist symbol.

I thought to myself about these mindless lemmings, these tools of Marxism who probably don't even realize how dumb they are with their allegiance to tyranny and that ninety years ago they would have made good NAZIs or Stalinists.  What, exactly, is it they don't like about Trump?  I wish I could talk to them, but, of course they won't listen, they scream and yell and spit and foam at the mouth without thinking beyond what they have been programmed to think.  They couldn't understand any reasoning if it slapped them in the face, and then they would simply call it racist, even though they are largely white kids in a very confusing situation that has been reinforced in them by a lifetime of indoctrination by the schools, media, entertainment industry, and culture itself.

But, if they could listen, I would ask them, "which part of Trump's policies make you so mad?  Are you angry about his ability to get the economy roaring so that people were able to live better, even at the lowest levels of the economic spectrum?  Did it tick you off that we were, before the coronavirus scamdemic, experiencing record lows when it came to unemployment rates, especially when it came to blacks and Hispanics?  Or maybe you're angry because the President believes in limited government, and it just chaps your behind that he doesn't want government poking its nose into your business as much as Obama pushed for, and the current Democrats are demanding.  Perhaps lower taxes and simpler tax laws bother you.  Perhaps it just makes you mad beyond reproach that the dastardly President talks to us as Americans, rather than chopping us into groups and trying to set us against each other like Obama did, and like the Democrats do.  And, I suppose it has to really make you mad that he has an America First agenda, because looking out for you, rather than letting the globalists stomp all over you and your life in America, has really got to be getting under your skin.

You know, it led me to start thinking about how ridiculous things have really gotten.  I mean, the KKK used to terrorize blacks and white republicans.  Now, the BLM terrorizes whites and black republicans.

We went to war against a regime that had their supporters wearing arm bands, and forced the Jews to wear yellow stars on their clothing before collecting them into concentration camps, but we seem to be fine with the leftist authoritarians mandating we wear face coverings as their allies scream and yell that all whites are racist and should be sent to camps, or worse.

We've watched the Democrat Party try to impeach the President, use a mild illness for authoritarian means, and launch rioting in the streets screaming that all whites are racists, all during an election year, yet nobody has put it together that they might all be connected and it might be for the purpose of targeting our President, and the liberty he stands for.

None of the blacks out there protesting were ever slaves, and none of the whites in this country feeling guilty over slavery have ever owned slaves, except maybe immigrants that have come here from Africa, or Muslim countries, of which these protesters call their allies.

The protesters are screaming about America's slavery history as many of them wear African garb or call themselves African Americans, without even blinking an eye over the fact that in order to be picked up from Africa by white slave traders, their black ancestors had to be sold by other blacks in their tribes.  Shouldn't they be angry at Africa for selling them into slavery in the first place?

Protesters who are screaming about America's history of slavery have burned down Christian churches, but have left the Mosques alone, even though it is Islam that has a history of practicing, and in some Muslim countries is currently practicing, slavery.

Protesters in Portland toppled a statue of Thomas Jefferson, and spray painted "slave owner" on it as the statue lay on the ground.  Jefferson was an abolitionist who worked hard to abolish slavery.  The slaves he owned were inherited, and he was unable to free them due to the laws at the time.  He did purchase some slaves, to keep families together, when he realized different buyers were trying to buy different members of the same family, separating children from their parents.

At Penn University protesters taped a "super predator" sign to a Benjamin Franklin statue.  Franklin was the force behind a group called the Society of Friends, which, after the Revolutionary War, was the first organization in the United States to work towards the abolition of slavery.  As a side note, the slave owners in the room during the Constitutional Convention in 1787 were the minority, with some of the delegates at the convention refusing to sign the document because they felt it was an opportunity to abolish slavery at that moment and it did not contain a Bill of Rights, yet.  Also, Article 9 of the Constitution begins with a clause designed to outlaw the Atlantic slave trade which was put into motion in 1808, and Frederick Douglass, an escaped slave that later became a pivotal part of the abolitionist movement, commented once that he did not see any indication that the Constitution was a pro-slavery document.

Protesters have demanded that the Emancipation Memorial in Washington D.C. be taken down, and threatened to tear it down earlier this week, but troops made sure it didn't happen.  The memorial commemorates the freeing of the slaves, and was funded by former slaves.

Protesters claim to hate the wealthy and the big corporations, so they have burned and looted small businesses and have left large corporations alone.  Small businesses are unable to bounce back after such an action against them, unlike larger businesses, and will likely not reopen, which gives more business to the large corporations, which will make the wealthy wealthier.

Protesters burning and looting businesses are the same people who claim that jobs are hard to come by in their "underserved" communities.

Protesters claim that hunger is a serious problem in their neighborhoods, but as they riot and protest many of these neighborhoods are now going to become food deserts because grocery stores will no longer feel safe doing business in those communities.

Protesters scream they wish to dismantle capitalism, and then send that message out on their devices, which exist because of the free market they claim to hate so much.

Protesters support Pennsylvania University for removing the word "freedom" from their freedom cards because it could be considered "offensive".  Do they no longer call them freedom cards?  What do you call something that no longer has freedom associated with it?  A bondage card?

Protesters who have allied with the progressive Democrats and are being supported by the progressives in government worked to take down a Teddy Roosevelt statue, a president who was a proud progressive despite being a member of the Republican Party, originally, and even began the Progressive Party to run against President Taft so as to split the vote and enable hardcore leftist progressive Woodrow Wilson to win.  From their alleged frame of mind, shouldn't that be a statue they'd wish to keep standing?  Oh, by the way, I wonder if the protesters realize that back during Roosevelt's day 95% of blacks were Republican because the GOP is the party that freed the slaves, and the Democrats was the party of racism, and quite frankly, still is?

Protesters attacked Andrew Jackson statue, who, while a slave owner, was the father of the Democratic Party, and sought to move America from being a republic to a democracy (a.k.a. mob rule) and largely influenced our move in that direction.

Protesters say they are against the authoritarian nature of the racist police as they wear masks mandated by Democrat Authoritarians, and their candidate for President, Joe Biden, thinks that wearing masks should by federally ordered.

Protesters have called for the defunding and dismantling of police, and then some have turned around and threatened to sue the police after getting injured and not receiving a police response in the riot zones, or in Seattle's case, the autonomous zone.

Protesters scream that securing the border with Mexico, and Trump's border wall, is racist, as they maintain strict borders around the riot zones, and in Seattle go so far as to deport people who are not in full agreement with them from their CHOP zone.

The Protesters say they are a part of Black Lives Matter, and support Black Lives Matter, the same organization that supports the dismantling of the nuclear family, an action, history has shown, that is largely responsible for the level of poverty many folks in black communities are experiencing.

Protesters claim that all Black Lives Matter, and it was wrong for the police officer to kill George Floyd as he did (and nobody disputes that), but they also support unfettered abortion, which is the number one killer of blacks, aside from, you know, black on black violence.

Protesters claim they have been unfairly treated and have no choice but to live in poverty in underserved communities and the answer is a redistribution of wealth, which would in the long run eliminate the middle class, and make it impossible to ever get out of poverty and government dependency.

Protesters say they are angry about the lawless cops out there, so their answer is complete lawlessness in the streets.

Protesters claim that all whites are racist, and to prove it they revealed racist symbols defacing gravestones at Providence College that turned out to be a hoax, and were spray painted by black supporters of the protests.

Another example of racist hate was provided, which were racist comments on the walls of Salisbury University in Maryland, which also turned out to be a hoax, and were spray-painted by a black supporter of the riots.

The message by the protesters have been peace through violence, life through death, and law and order through the elimination of law and order.  Sounds a little like 1984 by George Orwell, to me.

Black Lives Matter Goal: Burn it all Down

Black Lives Matter leader from Greater New York Hawk Newsome was interviewed by Martha MacCallum tonight and gave a shocking threat to burn down the “system” and replace it if we don’t get what we want.

“If this country doesn’t give us what we want, then we will burn down this system and replace it.. I could be speaking figuratively. I could be speaking literally. It’s a matter of interpretation.”

Constitution Classes Resume, coronavirus and domestic violence discussion

Instructor: Douglas V. Gibbs

Constitution Classes by Douglas V. Gibbs began in Temecula in 2008, originally in the classroom at Faith Armory, a local gun store.  After Faith Armory closed their doors a few years ago, unable to survive in the anti-gun climate in California, the Temecula class migrated to the Republican Party Headquarters in a different part of town.

In 2015 we launched a class in Corona, as well.  That class is held at CARSTAR/AllStar Collision's upstairs classroom.

Due to the coronavirus scamdemic, and fears of repercussions by local and State officials by the landlords of the venues, we have been unable to hold our classes.  However, now we are back.

Beginning June 24, 2020, the Temecula Class will gather at 6:00 pm.  On Tuesday, June 30, the Corona Class will resume operations.  The class is free, and all are welcome.  While I tend to attract conservatives, and Republicans, this is essentially a non-partisan class.  It is about the U.S. Constitution and the original intent by the Framers, not political ideology.

Here is the current and upcoming schedule for all classes:

  • Corona: Tuesdays, 6-7 pm, CARSTAR/AllStar Collision, 522 Railroad Street, Corona.
  • Temecula: Wednesdays, 6-7 (may possibly change to 5:30 - 6:30 soon), GOP HQ, 28120 Jefferson Avenue in Temecula.
  • Banning: 3rd Thursday Evening of each month, integrated into the Banning-Beaumont-Cherry Valley Tea Party monthly meeting, 5:00 pm start, Farmshouse Restaurant, 6261 Joshua Palmer Way, Banning.
  • Beaumont: The Four Seasons community has asked that classes begin soon in their neck of the woods.  We are still working on setting up times and days.
  • Menifee: A family has asked that I conduct classes in their community.  I once led classes in Menifee, and if enough folks want the class back, I will be glad to provide the service.
  • Fallbrook: A Republican Women's group in Fallbrook has asked that we commence classes in that community.  The day and time has yet to be established.
  • YouTube: My Constitution Study program, according to plans, will provide a series of videos going through the entire Constitution.
  • Online: An interactive online program is being written for me at this moment.  The plan is to launch the platform some time this year, likely with either no cost associated, or a $1 registration for the purpose of helping fund the effort.
  • I am available as a public speaker for short presentations, or seminars.  Contact me at constitutionspeaker at yahoo.com for more information.

As we return to our Temecula and Corona classes, the first meeting for each of them will be about what has been going on with the coronavirus and the domestic violence we have been seeing in our cities.  In the second meeting we will resume where we left off in our studies.  Key points to keep in mind regarding the current world situation:

  • In Portland the radicals toppled a statue of Thomas Jefferson and spray painted "slave owner" on it as it lay on the ground.  Thomas Jefferson was an abolitionist who hated slavery.  Most of the slaves he owned he had inherited and he did not have the funding to legally free them, as the laws required.  He did, however, on occasion, purchase slaves, usually to keep families together when he saw at an auction that different buyers were interested in the different parts of a family.  He treated his slaves as family, never wishing them to feel "owned" or that they were "property."  In fact, on one occasion after returning home from a diplomatic mission to Europe, upon seeing his arrival, his slaves ran to the bottom of the hill cheering, lifted him up, and carried him up to the house.  Those who forget, ignore, or purposely destroy history become fools who know little, and in the long run, as the old saying goes, will be destined to repeat that history.
  • The KKK was a militant arm of the Democrat Party who terrorized blacks and white republicans.  BLM is a militant arm of the Democrat Party who terrorizes whites and black republicans.
  • The first amendment does not come with a caveat that says "unless there's a virus," "unless it offends someone," or "unless it is considered hateful by some people."  Freedom of Religion, Freedom of Speech, Freedom of the Press, Freedom of peaceful assembly, and Freedom to Petition the government for a redress of grievances are all Natural Rights given to us by God.
  • The Second Amendment was put in place so that we may defend the union against tyranny.
  • In 1775 the English Colonies, while fighting the Revolutionary War, was hit with a Small Pox epidemic.  In successfully handling the disease they did not require face coverings, they did not mandate the closure of businesses, they did not quarantine the healthy, and the inoculation was not mandatory for anyone except new recruits into the militias who would be fighting in the Revolution. Herd immunity shortened the time the disease was hitting the communities, and once people had contracted it, when it came back their immune systems were stronger and the communities fought off the disease with ease during those later outbreaks.  The mortality rate was about 10%.  New studies are showing that the mortality rate of COVID-19 is about 0.05%, and lower.
  • Governors who are mandating through executive orders regarding the coronavirus or the domestic violence we have been experiencing have no authority to make law, therefore their orders are recommendations if not accompanied by legislation.
  • Governors who claim that their legislature gave them the power to legislate are acting unconstitutionally.  The U.S. Constitution and every State constitution, when referring to legislative powers, uses the word "vested" when referring to those powers being given to the legislature.  "Vested" means a granting of power, and that that power is irrevocable.  Therefore, it is unlawful for the legislature to give away their legislative authorities to the executive.
  • There are no authorities in State or federal constitutions allowing government to mandate that you wear a particular type of clothing, including face coverings, arm bands, or yellow stars.
  • There are no authorities in the State or federal constitutions authorizing government to quarantine the healthy.  If someone is at high risk, or is visibly symptomatic, they may be quarantined, but all others should be able to make those decisions themselves.  Benjamin Franklin said that those willing to sacrifice liberty for safety deserve neither.
  • The 14th Amendment disallows States from making laws interfering with our life, liberty, or property without due process, and the last time I checked, a virus is not due process.
  • The Constitution specifically does not allow government to interfere with contracts, including employment contracts, no matter what, despite the presence of a virus, or domestic violence.
  • Face coverings are unhealthy because they restrict oxygen intake.  Don't take my word for it, that's an OSHA rule.  The following video demonstrates: GO TO VIDEO.
  • The Surgeon General has stated that face coverings do not protect you from the coronavirus, it is basically a cough shield to protect against you launching the virus into the air.
  • The eyes are more likely to contract the virus if it is in the air than your mouth and nose.
  • Stay at home orders have been deadly, increasing instances of depression three-fold, and the instances of suicide have quadrupled.
  • Since April the number of deaths by coronavirus have dropped ninety percent.
  • The total number of deaths due to the coronavirus have been padded, and a nurse told me that her hospital receives $31,000 per death certificate showing COVID-19 as the cause of death.
  • A number of nurses have told me that the feared coronavirus overload of patients never came.  Most hospitals are currently at about a third of capacity.
  • While some people are alarmed that the number of coronavirus cases in some areas have spiked according to the news media, anti-body studies and going through the numbers indicates that very few cases are symptomatic, and your chance of dying from the coronavirus is less than the chance of being struck by lightning (240,000 people per year are injured by lightning strikes, and the odds of being hit by lightning is 0.333%).  Even the CDC has admitted their error, and now has the mortality rate for those under 50 at 0.05%.  The spikes in new cases are actually good news, for if more people get the disease, and the high percentage of asymptomatic cases holds, it will ensure that the virus will be gone quickly because it will run out of people to infect, and that if it returns mutated and stronger, more people will have the immunity to fight it off.
  • Article IV., Section 4 of the Constitution grants authority to the federal government to use whatever means is necessary to quell domestic violence.
  • The First Amendment states that we have a natural right to "peaceably assemble."
  • Article IV., Section 4 states that the federal government has the authority to ensure each State has a republican form of government.  Not a pure democracy, nor the Marxist socialist type of system being called for by the radicals in the streets.
  • The federal government has the authority to stop any foreign entrants into this country for any reason, which includes illegal aliens and the coronavirus.  Therefore, immigration restrictions and restrictions on inbound travel from other countries by the Trump administration are completely constitutional.
  • The United States does not have systemic racism.  If we did, Obama would never have pulled off a victory as President of the United States, and the black protesters would have faced worse than rubber bullets and tear gas.  In fact, the poorest people in the United States, including non-whites, live better than over 85% of the people in the rest of the world.
  • To abolish police would be to abolish law and order.  To abolish law and order would be to abolish the rule of law.  If you abolish the rule of law, you abolish freedom.
  • Radicals claim that evidence of systemic racism is revealed when one recognizes that a disproportionate number of jail bookings and a disproportionate number of people in the homeless community are black.  That is not because of racism, it is the result of a disproportionate number of people in that community committing crimes or refusing to participate in our free market.  If one does the research, one may discover that the foundation of the problems stem partially from a breakdown of the family unit in the black community.  If the father is not in the home, the chance of the family living in poverty skyrockets.  This phenomenon in the black community can be directly traced as being a consequence of government programs that encourages, through benefits, the break-up of the family.  These policies were put in place by the Democrat Party.  Take note, also, that poverty, crime, poor education, and so forth are present at the worst levels in communities that have been under Democrat Party control for half of a century, or longer.
  • The protesters, rioters, and radical politicians are calling for "equity" in our society.  Equity kills freedom.  Equity takes away the wonderful differences each of us have from each other.  Equality, if used in the manner provided by the Declaration of Independence, means that we are equal in the eyes of God, and in the eyes of the law.  Otherwise, our paths are ours to make.  Some finish higher than others not because there is something wrong with the system, but because of various factors that have been affected by our decisions, placement, location, and so forth.  It is in our power to change those things, if they are not satisfactory.  It can be hard work, and for some it may be harder than for others, but the opportunity is there in a free market.  Those opportunities go away in a socialist system, leaving everybody in equity ... or should I say, "equally miserable."

Douglas V. Gibbs Constitution Classes

Fellow constitutionalists and patriots,

It is time to resume the Constitution Classes.  The long break was necessary not because I did not wish to defy the ridiculous and unconstitutional orders regarding the coronavirus, but because a) I had a lot of catching up to do regarding a number of things, and b) the choice about the classes was not mine.  Out of respect to the landlords/owners of the properties we use as venues I waited until they were ready to allow us to resume our weekly constitution classes.

The Temecula Constitution Class will resume Wednesday Night, June 24, 2020 at 6:00 pm, GOP HQ, 28120 Jefferson Ave., Temecula.  I will provide the pizza.

The Corona Class will resume Tuesday Night, June 30, 2020 at 6:00 pm, CARSTAR/AllStar Collision, 522 Railroad Street, Corona.

In both classes we will spend the first evening discussing the Constitution, and the Founding Fathers, in relation to the recent issues of impeachment, the coronavirus, and the rioting.  Then, on the second meeting, we will resume from where in the Constitution we left off.  If you are new, and wish to attend, you do not have to wait until we start from the beginning.  And, in fact, if you have been considering joining these classes, this is the time to do it because it is possible that I may leave the State permanently at the end of the year.

The Wednesday Class in Temecula may have its starting time throttled forward by half an hour since it may conflict with a new Wednesday Night program being offered by a local church, 412 Murrieta.  I will advise you if that happens.

There have also been requests for classes in Beaumont and Menifee, but the exact nights of the week, times, and locations have not been established at this point.  Those classes will carry a $10 per person, per session door charge.

Fallbrook has also shown interest in having a class, I will let you know if that materializes.

Any other group or organization who may wish to be added is urged to do so, and we can discuss when, where and how much ($) when you contact me at constitutionspeaker@yahoo.com.

Thank you. Looking forward to seeing you all again, and the new faces who plan to join us.  God Bless.

Doug

Help Fund Restoration of the U.S. Constitution

Dear Fellow Constitutionalist and Patriot,

Thank you to those of you who have been helping with the funding of what I do.  Usually, when the Radio Program, videos (podcast videos and constitution study videos), or other efforts, are hurting for funds I pour the money I make from public speaking engagements into those things, and that's why I rarely ask for help with funding as a general rule.  My book sales and speaker's fees usually are enough (along with great advertisers like CARSTAR/AllStar Collision in Corona helping fund things) to pull off the funding of each and everything I do.  In the past great organizations and companies like the folks behind Constitution Quest Game, and the Constitution Association, have also helped.  However, in this current day and age of the coronavirus scamdemic, funds have dwindled, there have been no public speaking appearances (save for one private one at a restaurant in a nearby city a couple months ago) since February, and CARSTAR is my only advertiser on the radio program on KMET at this moment.

Recent donations have helped, and our January through April radio contract got paid off recently.  But, we are still short.  The April through July contract is still due (over $2,000) and stations around the country have been contacting me wishing to carry my program for very low prices (one in Utah has offered a full year of programming on their station for $600).  But, we don't have the funds to take advantage of these incredible opportunities.  I may even have to cancel our annual fundraiser dinner, which I would like to hold September 17, due to a lack of funds.  Personally, I hate asking for money, but if we are going to grow what we are doing (or for that matter, keep the show on the air on KMET) during this critical time in history, we need your help.  If everyone on this email list donated just $10 apiece, we'd be fully funded for a couple years.  Recently, Double X, on Constitution Radio, said that if 20 folks donated $500 each, he'd donate $1,000.  But, aside from one $400 donation, everything has pretty much been a hundred bucks or less.  Again, not complaining, I very much so appreciate those who have helped out, but the sad part of it is, we are still way short of funding our minimum basic needs.

You know me, this email list is not one I normally ask for money on.  My goal is to inform and educate, and sometimes, to rattle the cages of the politicians.  I need to make a trip to Utah to talk to some legislators about overturning 1964's Reynolds v. Simms, and I'd like to get to Wyoming to follow up on work our good friend G.R. Mobley has been performing regarding Republic Review.  But, the reality is, the funding isn't even there for the radio program and buying pocket constitutions, much less for any trips that may have lasting impacts on the political system during this critical time in history.

Let's continue to challenge the left, let's continue to hammer on the Marxists who are trying to fundamentally change America, and let's continue the hard work towards restoring our constitutional republic ... which includes battling to turn us away from mob rule ... a.k.a. democracy.

There is a donate button below, and one on www.politicalpistachio.com and another on www.douglasvgibbs.com.  Thanks, you guys are awesome, and I appreciate all of you...but if we don't stop this madness now, no amount of appreciation will matter, because we will be in bondage partly due to a lack of a few thousand bucks.

Blessings,

Douglas V. Gibbs

Democrats Dream of Military Coup

By Douglas V. Gibbs
Author, Speaker, Instructor, Radio Host

During an interview with Fox News reporter Harris Faulkner, President Donald Trump responded to Joe Biden's fantasy of having Trump removed by military force.  For some reason the Democrat candidate for President of the United States believes the Republicans will try to "steal" the 2020 election.  That's fascinating when all evidence points toward leftist manipulation of elections, and their desire to go to "vote-by-mail" ballots which have an incredible history of better enabling voter fraud.

“Look, Joe’s not all there, everybody knows it,” President Trump said to Faulkner. “It’s sad when you look at it, and you see it for yourself. He’s created his own sanctuary city in the basement of wherever he is, and he doesn’t come out.”

Comedy Central host Trevor Noah of the "Daily Show" also chimed in and worked to help encourage Biden's fantasy about how he dreams of removing President Trump from office with the use of the United States military.

“Let me ask you this, and I know this is a strange question to ask an American politician, may be easier around the world, but have you ever considered what would happen if the election result came out as you being the winner and Trump refused to leave?” Noah asked.

Biden replied, “Yes, I have.”

Biden continued after a break and stated, “I was so damn proud. You have four chiefs of staff coming out and ripping the skin off of Trump. And you have so many rank and file military personnel saying, whoa, we’re not a military state. This is not who we are. I promise you, I am absolutely convinced they will escort him from the White House with great dispatch.”

During an online forum with black Americans, Biden claimed that 10%-15% of Americans are just "not very good people" right after he accused President Trump of "dividing people."

Biden later added that he could relate to black people because he was bullied growing up.

“I’m a white man,” he said. “I think I understand but I can’t feel it. I feel it but I don’t know what it’s like to be a black man walking down the street and be accosted, or to be arrested or, God forbid, something worse.”

In the age of the coronavirus scamdemic, Trump moved his next rally to Tulsa, Oklahoma and over a million people signed up for it.  If there is no voter fraud on the Democrat side, thanks to mail-in-balloting, I am figuring Trump will win in November by a landslide, possibly taking as many as 45 States in the Electoral College.

AG Barr says that if the Democrats put mail-in-balloting in place, it would "open the floodgates to fraud."

Even with fraud, I believe that the President's popularity among Americans with each backfire by the Dem,ocrats (impeachment backfired, trying to trap him regarding coronavirus backfired, and now the rioting is backfiring) has gotten so high that even with their attempt to change the election with fraud, Trump will win easily, and the GOP will win back the House of Representatives.

The problem is that with the violent plums dancing in the heads of the Democrats, we may be in for a rough ride either way.  If Trump loses, they will do everything they can to kill conservatism, and turn America into a one party system.  If Trump wins, the cities will burn, and republicans will be targeted by groups like Black Lives Matter and Antifa in a manner very similar to the Democrat-led KKK targeting blacks and white Republicans a hundred-plus years ago with the ultimate goal of killing conservatism and turning America into a one party system.

Radio Free America

By Douglas V. Gibbs
Author, Speaker, Instructor, Radio Host

Here on the West Coast (Left Coast?) I am beginning to understand how people felt behind the Iron Curtain.  Okay, maybe it is not quite to the point of armed guards at the border and shock troops breaking up meetings of dissenters, but it sure feels like we are headed in that direction.  I am a native Californian, and in my more than a half century on this planet I've watched the Golden State go from the most prosperous place on the entire Earth to a place where people are doing what they can to get out of Dodge.  Between me not working because of the unconstitutional mandates associated with the Chinese Wuhan coronavirus COVID-19 scamdemic that pretty much disallows any gatherings (I teach Constitution Classes and I am a public speaker, so that pretty much kills ninety percent of what I do), to people I know and love not being able to work because of fears that Black Lives Matter members might rip them from their vehicle and beat the crap out of them if they enter Los Angeles County (yes, that's a major problem, here), and the fact that too many businesses are still not doing business because of the paranoia associated with the fake pandemic, it is beginning to look a lot like a communist dictatorship.  Comrade Gavin Newsom, also known as the governor of California, has mandated we continue with the harmful lockdown policies, he has mandated the wearing of a face covering as conservative States open up and are not suffering the horribly feared spike (in deaths ... I don't care about the number of cases for something that is milder than the common cold and the seasonal flu) everyone seems to be expecting, while the streets explode with cries that this country suffers from systemic racism, which is not only a false charge, but they look the other way when you bring up the fact that black slavery does exist in this world, and it is being committed by their allies in the Muslim World, and that they look the other way during this Black Lives Matter protest, but killed whites when the Bundy Ranch and related events took place.

Facebook banned posts from this website for three months before lifting the ban a couple weeks ago.  Changes in the algorithms on search engines have reduced the hits to this site to about 25% of the number of hits we were receiving just a year ago, and web-wide bans on various social media sites have left me with five less sites that I am allowed to post on.  Aside from carefully crafted videos to avoid attacks by the YouTube censor police, my final free voice is on the radio.  Sure, in this age of mass technology and online information, AM radio seems like an outdated mode of communication, but to be honest, that is the only place where I can speak freely, and fire my guns for all to hear.

That all said, today I was on the road during today's broadcast, returning to Southern California after a week on the Oregon Coast, so I left the program in the capable hands of two of my co-hosts, Alan and Dennis.  Today's program, despite my absence, and all future shows on the airwaves, are a worthy listen.  So, if you want the truth, you are tired of hearing lies, and the U.S. Constitution is something you consider to be pretty important, Constitution Radio on KMET 1490-AM, Saturdays from 1-3 pm Pacific, is for you.  Catch the podcasts on Sound Cloud.  And, as stations around the country have begun asking to carry the program, funding needs have increased.  We are needing funds to accept offers by radio stations in Utah, Missouri, Ohio, Florida, and Arizona.  But, we can only expand if you as a business owner begins advertising, or you as a listener begins donating.  Contact me or donate, if you want to help.  constitutionspeaker at yahoo.com.

Thanks, and let's continue to make noise, and let's become the counter-culture against the communist invasion we are experiencing in today's America.
