Debt Ceiling, Democrats, Biden, Trump --- Merry-Go-Round

A key tool in the game of deception is projection. If you are dishonest, unethical, and if you believe evil is okay to commit because the ends justify the means, then two things are automatically true about you. You're a hard left progressive commie, and you take responsibility for nothing. To maintain an authoritarian regime the blame must never be pointed towards the elitists in power. Enemies must perpetually exist, and whenever something happens that could make the ruling class look guilty or incompetent, those "forever enemies" always get the blame.

Then, after shifting blame and pointing glaringly at their opposition, the authoritarians then commit all of the stupidity and atrocities that every blundering anti-liberty Marxist/Utopianist/Collectivist has done throughout history.  The Democrats, and all of the knuckleheads of the Biden regime, is no exception.

Every time the budget madness happens, and we have to figure out how to pay for the massive government that has been created, the cry by the establishment Republicans and the socialist Democrats is always the same.  Borrow more money.  Raise the debt ceiling.  In essence, raise the limit on the federal government credit card.

It's like wondering what to do while your house is on fire, and then instead of putting out the fire, you hire a construction crew to raise the ceiling of the house so that at least your home's lid doesn't catch ablaze.

"That should hold us for a while," you say, as the walls, beams, and other supporting structures destabilizes the house and it eventually all comes crashing down...including the ceiling.

Then, everyone wonders if you meant to destabilize everything; that you meant to keep raising the ceiling because in the end you actually wanted to destroy your house.

The time has come in 2021 for the same budget talks, and of course the argument is "raise the debt ceiling, or shut down the government".  Between the interest we pay on our debt-based system, and the unconstitutional spending that has risen upward beyond 85% of federal spending, most of which the guilt lies on the rocky shore of progressive policies, it is amazing that it hasn't all come crashing down, yet.  In response, however, as always, not only are the lefties calling for raising the debt ceiling, but the Resident in Confusion, Joe Biden, while delivering remarks on the debt ceiling from the State Dining Room of the White House recently, proclaimed that the whole problem exists because of the “reckless tax and spending policies” of the Trump administration.

While I will not deny that the Trump administration spent a whole lot more money than I was comfortable with, his one four year term as President is hardly in a position to receive all of the blame for the historical mess we are in.  If anything, much of Donald J. Trump's spending came from trying to fix the problems of the past.  The other factor is that the President can't simply spend on his own.  It takes Congress to get the ball rolling with legislation, and the Democrats held the reins of Congress for half of Trump's term, and when the GOP was the majority they cow-towed to the Democrats so much, it was as if the Democrats had a majority during the first two years, as well.

Well, there was one time the Republicans were effective, and that instance, too, fit into Biden's ramblings about how everything is Trump's fault.  A few days ago the Republicans blocked the Democrat Party's push to raise the debt ceiling through 2022, although to save us from a shut-down (that's not really a shut-down, it's just a "cease and desist" when it comes to discretionary spending), they did agree to a temporary raise, yesterday.

Funny how the Democrats do everything they can to cheat, and right now they technically have the White House, and majority control over the House of Representatives and The Senate (albeit, only because Vice President Kamala Harris is the tie-breaking vote), yet their inability to reach their own goals is somehow the fault of the Republicans who are in the minority across the board.

Not that I want to play the "inherited a mess" card for Trump, the reality is that when the businessman took office the economy was in the worst shape it had been since before World War II.  So, it took a few spending tricks to get things turned around.

That said, there were no trillion-dollar or more deficits during the first three years of Trump’s presidency, and they weren't throwing around multi-trillion dollar pieces of legislation like we are seeing now.  And, as a result, the United States experienced strong economic growth and the unemployment rate fell to a 50-year low.

Then the man-made COVID hysteria hit, we shut everything down, and now the Democrats are enjoying the totalitarian ramifications of the mandates and lock-downs.  Sit down, shut up, you're a domestic terrorist if you question the Democrats, get your experimental shot or they will force you to, and of course they need to spend even more money than what was spent during the Trump presidency to, you know, fix our country after all of his spending sprees.

Oh, and if you disagree, you're likely a racist.
