Iran Nuclear Ready?
Iran is capable of making a nuclear warhead. Nothing is stopping Iran from having nuclear weapons except the thumbs up from the supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. The American President, Barack Obama, has no intentions to stop Iran. He would rather we all just talk about it. Surely, a stern diplomatic session will convince Iran that having a nuclear weapon, and planning on using it against Israel, is a bad thing.
Then again, maybe not.
Israel came to the conclusion that Iran is ready to fashion a nuclear bomb long before any of the American Intelligence agencies decided it was possible. As a result, Israel has been poised for an attack on Iran for some time now.
In fact, as Israel was coming to the conclusion that an Iranian nuclear bomb is inevitable, the U.S. National Intelligence Estimate concluded two years ago that Iran had cut off its nuclear bomb research effort in 2003.
Iran has the means to detonate such weapons as well, thanks to Russian-made delivery systems. And Israel has been very clear about their intentions should such a weapon be poised to strike the Jewish Nation. Israel's military option is on the table.
A strike on the two known Iranian nuclear facilities would set back the Iranian nuclear weapons program two to three years.
