George Zimmerman's Injuries from Self-Defense Against Trayvon Martin Extensive

By Douglas V. Gibbs

According to ABC News, George Zimmerman's medical report reveals the defendant had a broken nose, and numerous lacerations after his scuffle with Trayvon Martin that resulted in the shooting of and death of the teenager.

The medical report was compiled by the family physician George Zimmerman. Now that the case in court is in discovery, the facts are surfacing. Based on what is being released, it is becoming all the more likely that George Zimmerman, as he has claimed, was indeed defending himself against an attacking Trayvon Martin. This makes the liberal left's attempt to make this into some racial violence case, and divide America along racial lines, all the more obvious.

According to the report, Zimmerman was diagnosed with a "closed fracture" of his nose, a pair of black eyes, two lacerations to the back of his head and a minor back injury the day after he fatally shot Martin.

For his act of self-defense, Zimmerman faces a second degree murder charge.

This is like the Duke lacrosse case all over again. The media fell for abject lies, pushed their own lies, hoping to create a racial divide in America so that the democrats can find a way to blame the division on the republicans, and better the chances of Obama's reelection. That is what Al Sharpton has been claiming, and what Obama has been claiming, and in the end it is turning out to be false information based on lies and political positioning.
