National Suicide

When you look at the county by county map, Romney won overwhelmingly. The population centers, however, tilted the vote, and won it for the democrats.  Government handouts won over personal responsibility.  A president that, through his actions, has proven he hates capitalism, has won again in the United States of America.

The media has been saying the election would be a close one. The Obama camp claimed Obama would win with room to spare, and some of the Romney supporters stated that it would be a Romney landslide.  After it was all said and done, it is looking like Barack Obama will win a second term.

The low information voters bought the propaganda, I suppose. Sure, there are calls that there must've been fraud, or whatever, but whatever the cause, it did not bode well for the republicans.

I am surprised, not necessarily because I was so confident. I can admit when I am wrong. I am surprised because Obama's presidency was an unmitigated disaster.  His record was worse than Jimmy Carter's, and Carter was out quickly.  And Obama ran a disgusting campaign. It wasn't about hope - it was about attack after attack. It was a dirty, sleazy campaign, and the people believed that crap. They believed lie after lie. They believed that Romney wanted to take their birth control away, that republicans are racists, and whatever other venom the democrats spewed.  Romney failed to define himself enough. Obama carpet bombed Romney, convinced the populace of what Romney was even though he wasn't, and he didn't undo the idiotic attacks in time.

I also think it was a case of, "Okay, fine, he didn't do a good job, but he's our first Black President, so let's give him another go."

If you think the first term was bad, God help us for the next four years.

Someone asked me today what would happen if Obama won tonight. I said that in a year to a year and a half we would see an economic meltdown that would make the last few years look like a cake-walk.  I'm not talking apocalypse, or anything, but it is going to get really difficult.  Obamacare, if the republican House of Representatives doesn't find a way to defund it, and if the States don't nullify it, will completely destroy the private health insurance industry, and the federal government will become the sole payer of health care.  This will allow them to grab more control of your lives.

Meanwhile, we will see the punitive taxation the democrats have been calling for, which will further damage production.  Growth will be at a stand-still. The market will crash. The democrats will then turn to more fascism, where they regulate the private industries harshly, stamping out free market decisions.

We are in for a tough ride.

Understand that all of the votes have not been counted yet, and it is possible for things to change. But, chances are, the projections are accurate.

In pursuit of socialism through a puppet named Barack Obama, this nation just committed national suicide.
