Cheney: Medical Device Tax Could Have Killed Me

by JASmius

I'm sure that was one of the objectives of ObamaCare, but alas, it couldn't be rammed into place fast enough.

The greatest American vice president - stop snickering - will never get much, if any, public sympathy given his Sith-esque media coverage, but there is, nevertheless, nothing like up-close and personal anecdotal evidence to colorfully illustrate a devastation narrative.  Because there are countless more Americans in the same torpedoed boat:

I could say much the equivalent thing about my own father's surviving colon cancer a few years ago.  Between killing medical innovation and technological development and the inevitable rationing ObamaCare is already bringing about, it is highly unlikely that those resources would have been expended on a retired, 75-year-old man of no more use to the state.

And when you figure in voting tendencies, forget about it - might as well just euthanize my entire family and save a lot of time and fuss.

Of course, ObamaCare can't manage to be efficient even in destroying lives.  I'm still unsure whether that's a blessing or a curse.
