Chucky Schumer's Con Job For The Middle Class

by JASmius

Peter Morici notices what I did a week ago:

Senator Charles Schumer, D-NY, in a recent speech, stated President Obama and Democratic majorities in Congress were elected in 2008 to get the economy working for middle-class families. Consequently, assigning extraordinary priority to passing the [Una]ffordable Care[-Less] Act (UCLA) was a mistake.

In 2008, most middle-class families had private insurance they liked; their incomes had been falling for about a decade.

The [UCLA] was really part of Democrats' agenda to assist the working poor — raising the minimum wage and expanding Medicaid, food stamps, the earned-income tax credit and higher education grants — while cozying up to big business to finance Democratic campaigns.

....aaaaaaaaand stick the middle class with the bill, all the while claiming it was all for the middle class's benefit.

In other words, Chucky is recycling the same old Donk scam, while attempting to foist the blame for its latest round of disastrous failures on what he thinks is a "lame duck" president.

There's plenty more red meat at the link.  Suffice it for now to say that it appears that most, if not all, Democrats outside the White House will be caught as flat-footed as the rest of the country will be when Barack Obama pulls his coup and announces his lifetime presidency.

All for the sake and benefit of the "middle class," of course.
