The criteria for the disposition of Castroid Cuba vis-a-vie the Foggy Bottom terrorism sponsor list ought to be very simple: Was putting the regime in question on the list justified? Yes. Has that regime changed since it was put on said list thirty-three years ago? No. Conclusion? They should stay on the damn list. But then the logical conclusion from that is that the U.S. should not be embracing the Castros in the first place. And The One couldn't let anything like that not happen.

....came as a matter of course because Congress made no move to block the action within forty-five days after Barack Obama announced plans to do so on April 14th.

And like The One wouldn't have just ignored them if they had.

Really? What would those be? I'm genuinely curious.
....these fall outside the criteria relevant to the rescission of a State Sponsor of Terrorism designation,” Jeff Rathke, a department spokesman, said in the statement.
Which means the Obama Regime doesn't have any significant concerns or disagreements with any of Cuba's policies or actions.
The two nations intend to reopen embassies in Havana and Washington once officials resolve points of contention, including U.S. demands for freedom of movement for its diplomats in the island nation.....
A demand to which the Castros will never accede, and which will eventually be dropped by the White House, because otherwise the only thing they could do is break off diplomatic relations again, and The One couldn't let anything like that happen.
....and Cuba’s concerns about U.S. democracy programs that it says undermine the government in Havana.
Which is their whole point and reason for existing. and which Red Barry will terminate in the interests of preserving "good relations with Havana".
Exit question: Do you think the Castros will allow U.S. diplomats to tour the Russian military base(s) they'll be hosting, complete with nuclear weapons installations? Anybody want to venture an over/under?
