San Bernardino Jihadists Pledged Allegiance To ISIS During Attack

by JASmius

And so the circle is closed.

Think this will get much play in the Christophobic, Islamophilic, gun-confiscation-happy Obamedia?  Me either:

As the San Bernardino attack was happening, investigators believe the female shooter, Tashfeen Malik, posted on Facebook, pledging allegiance to ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, three U.S. officials familiar with the investigation told CNN.

The posting was by Malik made on an account with a different name, according to one U.S. official. The officials did not explain how they knew Malik made the post. [emphasis added]

I'll do you all the favor of sparing you the "hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil" denials of the Farook family lawyers who are brazenly referring to anybody who could possibly even entertain the notion that the Islamic Bonnie & Clyde might, just might, have been jihadists as "clueless," in one of the more egregious examples of "pot, kettle, black" I've seen in some time.

Now you know why the Left is in full gun-grabber mode.  Since the attackers were not Christian, conservative, constitutionalist Tea Partiers, but rather members of the "right tribe," they have to instead demonize their instruments of destruction, and by extention Christian, conservative, constitutionalist Tea Partiers for defending the Second Amendment.

Also, since the Left can't defend the attackers either, they're doing the next best thing, and defending those to whom they swore allegiance:

There’s no evidence the group directed the woman, Tashfeen Malik, and her husband Syed Rizwan Farook, to launch the attacks, which killed fourteen and wounded twenty-one, said the officials, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because the investigation is continuing.

“At this point we believe they were more self-radicalized and inspired by the group than actually told to do the shooting,” one of the officials said.

The posting had been removed from the social media site and it’s not clear when federal authorities obtained it.

In the days leading up to the shooting, the couple took several steps to delete their electronic information, in an apparent effort to cover their tracks, officials said. Those efforts have led authorities to believe that the shooting was premeditated.

Islamic terrorists have used the oath of allegiance, called a bayat, to declare their loyalty to specific groups and leaders. To become a member of al Qaeda, for instance, terrorists historically swore their devotion to Osama bin Laden.

And....what of it?  So what?  As I was about to write yesterday before my esteemed colleague beat me to it, Syed Farook and Tashfeen Malik were homegrown jihadists, "radicalized" by the global reach of ISIS social media perhaps, but not necessarily having to be specifically commanded to "slay the infidels wherever you find them".  And, frankly, it's that decentralization that may be the most dangerous.  Even if ISIS never sought to infiltrate the U.S. in order to bring it literally to its knees with unprecedented, devastating attacks - and they are - simply "radicalizing" the tens or hundreds of thousands or millions of Muslims Barack Obama keeps vacuuming into the U.S. by so clearly being the alpha-male, Saladin-esque "strong horse" of Islamic culture is going to be enough to inspire entire hordes of Farooks and Maliks.  Call it the Muslim "bandwagon effect".  Islam is garishly front-running because they interpret success as being "Allah's will," and ISIS has been and continues to be nothing if not successful (by deliberate Obama Regime policy, remember).  Consequently the formula is in place for countless more San Bernardinos to unfold in, well, machine-gun fashion in the days, week, months, and years ahead.

I guess the real, get-down-to-where-the-cheese-binds question is, how many of us are we going to sit back and allow to be slaughtered before We the People finally come to our senses, get rid of our Islamophilic "leaders," stop importing the enemy into our midst, start defending ourselves at home, and resume taking the fight to the enemy abroad?  And my brutally candid answer is: I don't know.  I just don't know.

Unfortunately, I think we're going to find out - and not the easy way.
