San Bernardino Shooting: All About Islam
The suspects, as I suggested may be the case, in yesterday's mass shooting in my backyard in San Bernardino, have turned out to be Muslims. One of the shooters recently made a trip to Pakistan as recent as 2014, and the married couple had on them over 1,600 rounds of ammunition (UPDATE: over 5,500 rounds!), and over a dozen pipe bombs. Her visa suggests that she was brought into the country by her husband from Pakistan during that trip (he likely married her in order to be able to bring her to the United States). When one considers the massive amount of equipment and ammunition on them, it was likely the Inland Regional Center in San Bernardino, California was going to be only their first target in what was intended to be a Paris style terrorist operation. The count, as of now, is 14 dead, and 21 wounded. These numbers are low considering what could have happened if local authorities had not responded so quickly, and were no so diligent in following leads.
We are at war. Islam is waging war on the World. The politicians, however, refuse to take the steps necessary to protect the States from invasion, as provided in Article IV, Section 4 of the United States Constitution, and are instead seeking to blame Americans, or the American gun culture, on attacks such as this.
President Barack Obama, in his initial statement about the shooting, was sort of correct about the mass shooting in San Bernardino, but for the wrong reason. He said, "We have a pattern now of mass shootings in this country that has no parallel anywhere else in the world." Obama's intent was to incriminate the guns, and I am sure that before we knew the identity of the suspects, he was hoping the shooters were gun-toting, Bible-thumping, right-wing, radical, Constitution-loving extremists. I hung out with a massive collection of that kind of people at a gun show in Costa Mesa last weekend, and I never felt safer in my life.
There is a pattern of violence that is erupting in this country that has no parallel anywhere else in our history, but it does exist elsewhere in the world. Muslim countries experience what we witnessed in San Bernardino on a constant basis. These kinds of mass shootings are on the rise in Europe. The reason has little to do with guns, and everything to do with Islam. We are at war, and the important people refuse to admit it.
This morning, law enforcement told us that they are still trying to figure out the motive. They refuse to call it terrorism, but they have no problem explaining to us that all arrows point towards the shooting being pre-meditated, and carefully planned. They don't want to call it Islamic terrorism because they want to be politically correct about the idiotic notion that Islam is the religion of peace, and because they don't want to anger the Muslim community. The fact is, Islam is what the rise in violence around the world has in common.
The defining the shooting in San Bernardino as an act of terrorism is being held off because the FBI doesn't want to say it's terrorism unless the shooters are attached to some kind of terrorist group. Islam doesn't work that way. Islam is Islam, and jihad is committed at all levels, whether it is a part of an organized effort, or by individuals. Allah commands the killing of infidels, and if you want to visit the Hadiths, chaos in the world is necessary to bring about the next great caliphate. The fact that the suspects are Muslims are reason enough to call it terrorism. Islam lies about being peaceful. There was no indication that these people would do what they did because they lied, they hid their intentions. That is what Islam does. Muslims lie to hid their jihadism. The goal of Islam is clear. Destroy the enemy, infiltrate their lands, kill them from within, and do all a good Islamic warrior can do to bring about a worldwide Muslim caliphate.
While the President, politicians, and law enforcement try to minimize the truth, the reality is, the shooting in San Bernardino was a terrorist attack, and it was all about Islam. It doesn't matter if the shooters were "radicalized." Islam is Islam. Being Muslim is radical enough of a reason to commit terrorism.
