MSNBC Seeks to Protect Democrat Snowflakes

By Douglas V. Gibbs

Normally, warnings about harsh images are given because there may be violence, blood, or nudity. MSNBC's Rachel Maddow felt the delicate sensibilities of the Democrats who watches her television program also needed to be protected from something even more harsh. . . buttons that dare to criticize the Democrat Queen, Hillary Clinton.

“You may find it uncomfortable. And so, you may not want to look at this stuff. But these are some of the pins that are being sold at the venue,” said Maddow, probably horrified, herself.

Then, she showed images of buttons including ones that read “Hillary for prison” and “Vote no to Monica’s ex-boyfriend’s wife in 2016.”

The Horror!

I carried a "Hillary for Prison, 2016" sign at an Independence Day Parade, and two liberal left Democrats approached me afterward, horrified I would do such a thing.  One said I "crossed the line," and the other said it was "inappropriate."  I wonder if they had a problem with the anti-Bush crap a decade ago that was popping up all over the place, that were more nasty than my sign?

According to Maddow, the accursed buttons she showed were seen at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland, and the horrifying reality that there are actually those who see through the lies and realize Hillary Clinton is a collectivist who stands against the U.S. Constitution out there who will actually vote for Trump was too horrifying to dump on MSNBC viewers without a warning.

The hateful propaganda and images of nooses around Bush's neck a decade ago, however, was just fine.

Maddow's treehouse of horrors continued, as she told her audience how people on the floor at the RNC were "calling Hillary Clinton a bitch," and "referring to her breasts and thighs and left-wing and all of those other things. That's part of the merchandise of the RNC.”

I'm not one to use such language, and ad hominem attacks are never recommended, but while I was watching Bill Maher, the language and ad hominem attacks against Republicans, and more specifically Trump and his family, made Maddow's observations seem tame.

Ah, but I guess in their double-standard world, that was just fine.

The history of MSNBC's rhetoric against Bush is even worse that what Maher dishes out.

But, that's fine, too. After all, they are superior, and the ends justifies the means, right?

What amazes me is that the Democrat voters are that easily offended?  How about those delicate little snowflakes suck it up, realize politics is a nasty game, and be willing to hear what the other side says.  Hey, they might even grow a pair. . . but, then again, that would make them Republicans.
