Hurricane Maria Following Irma's Path of Destruction

Maria has become a hurricane, and only weeks after monster Hurricane Irma engulfed the State of Florida, Maria is following a similar path through the Caribbean.

Currently a Category 1 hurricane, hurricane warnings are already going out to St. Kitts, Nevis, Montserrat Guadeloupe and Dominica.

While nobody can truly predict the path of a hurricane, and experts are not sure that Maria will slam into some part of the United States, the similar path has those paying attention alert and watchful.  The Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico are already considered likely targets.

If Maria follows Irma's path, the already drenched and saturated areas Irma left in her rearview mirror will be susceptible to serious flooding, and that means many more deaths.

Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush is already sending out a warning, tweeting, “Maria is coming” with a link to the NHC advisory.
