Third Website Launched – This One Highlights
Lieutenant Governor/Former San Francisco Mayor’s Career-Long History of Flip Flopping
Leading off: How “Newsom’s Position on High-Speed Rail Seems to Change with the Winds”
California – A third website launched today, highlighting Lieutenant Governor and former San Francisco Mayor’s career-long history of flip flopping on key issues.

“When it comes to changing with the wind, Gavin Newsom gives a tumbleweed in Barstow a run for its money,” begins the site’s first post.  “But whether or not he would actually support California’s troubled high-speed rail program remains the $64 billion question.  Even his Democratic colleagues agree...”

“According to an article in The Sacramento Bee in September 2017, former Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa said that Newsom revises his positions ‘when the winds blow in his direction.”

The post includes information on multiple high-speed rail position changes by Newsom, including 2007 (support),  2014 (oppose), and 2016 (support).
“Just recently, The Los Angeles Times reported, ‘Gavin Newsom Criticized for Flip-Flopping on California’s Most Pressing Issues.’ The Times continued, ‘Newsom has made several about-faces during his two decades in politics’ including on high-speed rail,” continues the post.

“Whether Newsom can have it both ways will depend upon whether voters believe him on November 6th,” concludes the inaugural post.
