New John Cox Radio Ad - "Newsomville"

California – John Cox is releasing a new statewide radio ad titled "Newsomville" on Monday that uses Gavin Newsom's own words “So much of that has happened on our own watch. We have to own that” on California's homelessness crisis.

You can listen to "Newsomville" by clicking here.

Newsomville script:

Beneath the thin veneer of prosperity, millions of forgotten Californians are hurting.

The worst poverty rate in the country as families struggle with high rents, food and gas prices.

People lose their homes, then their cars, and then their hope, ending up on the streets.

We can’t look away any more. Who’s to blame?

Gavin Newsom says he is. “So much of that has happened on our watch. We own that.” (1:55 mark)

Yes, you do Gavin. All of it.

The “Newsomville” homeless camps, springing up in every town.

While for 7 years, you’ve done nothing.

The unaffordable rents and gas prices. Bad roads and failing schools, Friends and family forced to leave the state.

We DO need courage. The courage to make REAL change.

The courage to vote for somebody new.

John Cox for Governor.
