Leftists Reject 911 Symbol of American Resolve

Note the photo in question is also a part of the original Political Pistachio banner. . .

-----

An iconic photograph of firefighters raising the American flag amidst the rubble of Ground Zero was nearly excluded from the 9-11 Memorial Museum because staff members considered it too kitschy and “rah-rah” American, a new book alleges.

Michael Shulan, the museum’s creative director, was among staffers who considered the Tom Franklin photograph too kitschy and “rah-rah America,” according to “Battle for Ground Zero” (St. Martin’s Press) by Elizabeth Greenspan, out next month, the New York Post reported.

“I really believe that the way America will look best, the way we can really do best, is to not be Americans so vigilantly and so vehemently,” Shulan said.

Greenspan writes that eventually they reached a compromise – minimizing the iconic shot in favor of three different photographs from three different angles of the flag-raising scene.

“Several images undercut the myth of ‘one iconic moment,’ Ramirez said, and suggest instead an event from multiple points of view, like the attacks more broadly,” the book says.

“Shulan didn’t like three photographs more than he liked one, but he went along with it.”

Shulan told The Post he didn’t know that the way Greenspan described the discussion about the photographs “is the way that I would have.”

“My concern, as it always was, is that we not reduce [9/11] down to something that was too simple, and in its simplicity would actually distort the complexity of the event, the meaning of the event,” he said.

Read the entire story by clicking here.

So, my question is, will they be asking to remove stature of the Marines raising the flag at Iwo Jima in Washington DC for it being to Rah Rah American?  How about Washington and Lincoln Memorials?  Hell, they might as well bring down the Stars and Stripes and put up a flag with Obama's logo on it, instead.  The American Flag is probably way too Rah Rah American for these people.

White House Vows "No Spending Cuts"

The madness of the belief that we can spend more money, print more money, and devalue our currency to get out of the economic troubles we've been in continues to reign in Washington. . . as for the threat to shut down government? Let it happen.  Besides, a government shutdown does not also stop necessary functions.  Plus, if they shut down, the spending goes to minimum life support, and they stop making bad decisions during the shut down.

A shut down may be exactly what we need.

From Fox News:

The Obama administration dug in Sunday on its vow to reject proposed spending cuts by congressional Republicans in upcoming budget talks but declined to say whether the president would veto their proposals or allow a government shutdown.

Treasury Secretary Jack Lew told “Fox News Sunday” that President Obama will neither sign government funding bills that slash domestic spending nor negotiate with Republicans over spending cuts to raise the federal debt limit.

However, he would not say whether the president would veto proposals and put the responsibility on Capitol Hill.

“Congress has to do its work," Lew said.

He also repeated what the administration has said in the weeks ahead of talks on short-term funding for federal agencies before a Sept. 30 deadline -- that Capitol Hill lawmakers must replace so-called sequester cuts with less drastic ones.

“Congress should find a way out of sequester,” Lew said.

The across-the-board cuts to Defense Department and domestic spending began in March, after Washington failed to agree on a more even approach.

He also said the president was not going to accept a budget in which domestic spending is further cut to soften the blow to Defense spending.

“That's unacceptable," Lew, who appeared on three Sunday shows to re-enforce the president’s positions, told NBC's "Meet the Press." "He won't sign that."

He told ABC's "This Week" that the president has been "crystal clear" that raising the country's debt limit this fall in non-negotiable.

Congress must pass a so-called continuing resolution before October to fund federal agencies beyond the end of fiscal 2013 and until Washington can agree on a fiscal 2014 budget.

Some conservatives are making a last stand against Obama's new health care law, which includes plans not to fund ObamaCare in the continuing resolution.

Rep. Peter King, R.-N.Y., said Republicans should be searching for ways to de-fund or repeal the Obama health care act. But he called threatening to shut down the government "terror politics" and said the strategy wouldn't work. Others have worried that the gamesmanship could cause Republicans to lose control of the House.

Some observers say it's an idea doomed to fail anyway, since Obama brings both a veto pen and the White House podium to the battle.

Building A Temple in Jerusalem

By Douglas V. Gibbs

As the madness descends upon the world, we remember that among the final puzzle pieces is the rebuilding of Soloman's Temple in Jerusalem.  The Muslims have claimed the Temple Mount for themselves.  The Eternal Capital of Jerusalem has belonged to the Jewish People for over 3,000 years.  Conquerors have made false claims to justify their attempt to conquer the mount, including the Islamic Jihad against Israel after the U.N. partition in 1947.  The Saudis issued a "fatwa" claiming they were trying to save the Al-Aqsa mosque from the Jews.  Then, Yassir Arafat claimed the Temple Mount to be the third holiest site for Islam, and included all of Jerusalem in his claim.  The claim was based on the mythical ascension of Muhammad from Al-Aqsa to Heaven - a story that grows more incredible with each telling.

A government minister from a nationalist religious party has called for the Jewish Temple to be rebuilt on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.

A website that shows a representation of the Temple Mount as it would appear with a rebuilt Jewish Temple atop it rather than Al-Aqsa Mosque that currently stands there has been receiving tremendous backlash from Muslims.

Christians believe the rebuilding of Soloman's Temple on the Temple Mount is a key piece in the fulfillment of prophecy related to the End Times.

I Thought Obama Hates Big Corporate America? Wants to Lower Corporate Tax Rate, but Raise Small Business Tax Rate

The New York Times reports that President Obama is reviving an old proposal to lower the corporate tax rate from 35 percent to 28 percent (and 25 percent for manufacturers). Obama's push to lower the corporate tax rate to 28 percent comes less than a year after he raised the top individual income tax rate, paid by many small businesses, to 39.6 percent.

In a speech delivered Tuesday afternoon, Obama did not explain why he thinks it's a sound economic idea to raise the top marginal tax rate on small businesses but lower it for corporations.

The Problem With Republicans

By Douglas V. Gibbs

I am not a Republican, but I am registered as a Republican.  I don't love all things Republican, and I don't hate all things Republican, but of the two parties, the GOP, in my opinion, is the party we have the best chance of turning around.

Conservatism wins when applied, and when articulated properly.  Ronald Reagan's two landslide elections showed us that.  The mid-term election of 2010 revealed that truth, as well, as conservatives loaded the voting booths after getting involved in TEA Party rallies and meetings, and realizing that they needed to be involved. Candidates, more conservative than the Republican Party normally offers, were on the ballot, and the voters sighed with relief.  Finally, someone to vote for that was not necessarily just the lesser of two evils.

It was simple, really.  President Obama represented something foreign to America, and Obamacare frightened these people into getting involved.  The grassroots movement grew, the TEA Party won by a landslide, and then the GOP establishment got its hands on it.

The message became diluted, and the focus swerved into a tree.

We are not just in a political war, but in a culture war, and we have failed to combat the attacks.  Meanwhile, the republicans, or at least the non-conservative ones, are convinced that the social issues, and being too challenging against the democrats, will sink the political party.

They cannot be more wrong.

The social issues, and a strong conservative stance on other issues, is not the problem.  It is failure to articulate the argument.

The problem is not our stance, but how we argue our stance.  The liberal left has changed the language, and the premise, of the issues, and we keep arguing from their foundation, from the argument they present.  For example, when it comes to gay marriage, they argue that marriage is a right, and to deny gay marriage is to deny a right.  How can you argue that you want to take away a right?  Conservatism is stifled by the premise.

The premise is wrong.  Why not ask, "Why is government involved in marriage in the first place?"  Do we really want bureaucrats defining the definition, and terms, of such a sacred institution?  Let churches handle marriage, let judges handle civil unions, and if a church wants to marry gays, they will benefit, or suffer, from the consequences.

How about abortion?  They once again use the "it's a right" premise.

Since when is murder a right?  Besides, it is a State issue.  Leave it alone at the federal level, and argue it at the State level.  Use the Constitution, which we all say we agree upon, as our verbal weapon.

Meanwhile, the IRS scandal, as well as the other "phony" scandals that are plaguing the phony president, need to be hammered on.  But the Republican Party is afraid to.  They don't want to rock the boat.  How are they the opposition party if they aren't willing to oppose the opposition?

The Republicans need to work to defund, and get rid of, Obamacare, and they need to focus on the scandals and show the clear distinction between the parties, and between conservatism and liberalism.

But they aren't, and they won't.

The Republicans in Congress don't fear us.  They, instead, fear the media, and the attacks by the democrats.  They don't want to look bad, so they capitulate.  So, in the end, with all of the problems we are having, we must remember that the biggest problem is that the GOP politicians don't fear their voters.  Conservatives don't like big government, and the career politicians of the Republican Party want to continue to participate in big government, and until they feel we are willing to end their little party, they will keep up the garbage.

We aren't pushing them, we aren't lobbying, and we don't scare them.

We must do more than scream and yell and send emails.  We must make them believe we can stop their money, and stop their reign.  We must go to townhalls, and respectfully inform them where we stand.  We must be on central committees, and we must operate within the system.

We need to be more than complainers.  We need to be activists.

Chasing Chimera

By Douglas V. Gibbs

Chimera is the term used for "an organism composed of two or more genetically distinct tissues, as an organism that is partly male and partly female, or an artificially produced individual having tissues of more than one species."  In recent posts I have referred to stories about how scientists are working to use their knowledge of genetics to manipulate DNA, not only in the hopes of eradicating genetic deformities and diseases, but also to see what limits they can push.  From cloning to the creation of hermaphrodites and multi-species chimera, despite governmental oversight and restrictions, the envelope is being pushed.

Today, Rush Limbaugh said on his radio program that "America is changing, it has changed, in the blink of an eye."  He was referring to the political and social nature of the nation as seen from the point of view of the liberal left.  They believe the United States has turned a corner, and in a sense, it has.  People have been convinced that change is good for the sake of change, and that nothing is the limit.  Liberalism, like sexual immorality, scientific discovery, and drug use is a never ending need for more and more.  The current drug becomes boring, and it takes more for the thrill.  The Left is not satisfied with the control they have gained.  They will want more, and they will push for more, like all tyrannies do.  The gay agenda won't be happy with marriage.  They will want more.  They will work to eradicate all opposition, while seeking more and more sexual perversion.  Society will not stop with homosexuality.  Polygamy, pedophilia and beastiality are all waiting in line.  And eventually, even they will not be enough to satisfy the sexual appetite of pushing the envelope just a little further.  Science won't be gratified with just understanding DNA.  Their genetic appetite will want more.  Cloning and genetic manipulation is only the tip of the iceberg.  They will create chimera, and those chimera will be eventually introduced into society, and that is when all three appetites will converge.

What I speak of is normally left to the imaginations of science fiction.  Doctor Moreau's Island, comes to mind.  But don't discount what I am writing, just yet, for remember that the idea that the "dykes and fairies" of the sixties would demand marriage and for society to accept their sexual behavior as normal was just as preposterous at one point, but look where we are.

Change is accelerating.  Will chimera someday be walking the streets, participating in societal functions, and even interbreeding with pure humans happen within our lifetime?  Will the sexual perversion get to the point that they demand sex with hybrid humans?  Will politics get to the point where they will demand these creations be granted a vote?  Will science get so far that finding a human pure in his generations will be a difficult task?

The envelope never stops being pushed, unless an obstacle stops its procession.  You don't have to believe me about chimera, but believe that progress can be good, and it can be dangerous, and in liberalism's hands, we are indeed in for a very dangerous ride. . . unless we do something to stop it.

Gas Plant explosion in Florida

A large series of explosions rocked a gas plant about 40 miles north of Orlando late Monday, critically injuring two workers and forcing the evacuation of residents at least a mile away, authorities said.Twenty-four people were working the night shift at Blue Rhino, a propane-tank business. Initially, 15 people were reported missing. But by 2 a.m. Tuesday, all employees had been accounted for, said Lt. John Herrell, a Sheriff's Office spokesman. There were no reports of fatalities, he said.

Reform This

By Blasted Fools

Laborers by Day – Murderers by Night. Politicos tell us that illegal immigrants are the future of our country. What kind of a future is this?
You’ll pardon me if I’m so angry I can scarcely see straight. We have predators running loose in this country and the vermin in Congress don’t care about you or me, just satisfying the special interests and their insatiable appetite for cheap labor. Louise Sollowin is the latest victim – not the only victim, just the latest.
This story is not fresh off the printer – the news report has been re-blogged since July 24th. I don’t think it has had nearly enough circulation though, and I want to tie this into a solution, while stiffening your resolve to oppose the amnesty bunch in Congress at every move.

I had personal feelings when I saw this story. I’ll tell you why, in a moment. Here are the basic details of the atrocity as reported by the Associated Press:

OMAHA, Neb. (AP) — Authorities say a 93-year-old Omaha woman has died after being beaten and raped.
Omaha police say Louise Sollowin died Wednesday, three days after the attack in her home. According to a police report, an officer who was sent to check on Sollowin found her covered in blood in a bedroom around 9 a.m. Sunday. The officer reported that 19-year-old Sergio Martinez-Perez was naked and passed out on top of the woman.
Prosecutors say Martinez-Perez acknowledged assaulting and raping Sollowin, saying he was mad at women after a night of drinking.

When I saw that a 93 year old Grandmother spent the last hour or so of her life in a maelstrom of physical torment, fear and agony, I thought of my own mother – soon to turn 92, possibly being a victim of an attack like that inflicted on Mrs. Sollowin – so inhuman, it defies comprehension. Investigators surveying the crime scene reported Mrs. Sollowin’s blood splattered on the walls and even on the ceiling! I feel my heart racing when I reflect on this.

From the Omaha World Herald:

When Louise Sollowin died, she took a library’s worth of neighborhood knowledge with her.

The 93-year-old was a prominent figure in Omaha’s Little Italy community. For 50 years, she fired up the oven at Orsi’s Italian Bakery. She attended Mass at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church. She sewed while watching gaggles of neighborhood children play with her own.

“She was a very lovely lady,” longtime resident Nancy Calinger, 71, said. “She was a pillar in our neighborhood and a library, as well, because of her history.” Sollowin was beaten and raped Sunday in her bed by an intruder. He entered her home at 1921 S. 10th St. through an unlocked door. She died Wednesday at the Nebraska Medical Center.

Joe Sollowin, Louise’s son, said he was shocked to hear of his mother’s death. “Her body was so completely broken up,” He said he had figured that his mother would live forever because she was one of the few people in the family who never touched alcohol or cigarettes. She worked at the bakery until about 10 years ago, when her weakening eyesight forced her to retire.

“My mother was a saint,” Sollowin said. “This is beyond words. … It’s horrendous.” “To single out a 93 year old woman and beat her to a pulp and kill her and rape her, it disgusts me. How anyone could do this. I want to see him on the other side of the glass when they pull the lever down. That’s what I want to see,” Sollowin said.

The atrocity has left people in the community struggling with questions: How could something like this happen? Why Sollowin? And could it happen again? “To kill her the way that man did,” Calinger said, her voice cracking. “Damn him.”

Illegals supposedly ‘deserve’ citizenship. Did Louise deserve what happened to her?

Perez dealt the physical assault on Louise, but he had enablers – the Obama Administration, Sanctuary Cities typically governed by ‘progressives’, by Republicans and Democrats in Congress, who won’t make eVerify mandatory for all employers, or require Homeland Security to implement serious as a heart attack, muscular border security.

And to add to the list, hypocrites like my Brother-in-law, that make noises about illegal immigration, but hire illegal day laborers. Why do they hire them? Simple – the hypocrites hire them because they are cheap and greedy and want you to subsidize their cheap labor with higher taxes, while at the same time exposing you to the menace of imported crime. My Brother-in-law is a landlord and hires illegals to do repair work (if it can be called such), on his rental properties. Sergio Martinez-Perez, may have even been employed by him at one time or another.

It’s disgusting. I hope no one reading this is hiring labor off the street and not confirming their legal status or employing them at your place of business. If you are, you need a check up from the neck up to review your defective ethics. You’d also better make sure these pick-up laborers don’t know where you live! Here’s Louise Sollowin’s obituary:
Birth: unknown
Death: Jul. 24, 2013
Omaha Douglas County
Nebraska, USA

Passed away on July 24, 2013. Preceded in death by husband, Joseph. Survived by son, Joseph Sollowin III, Crosby, TX; daughter, Louise Orsi, Omaha, NE; daughter and son-in-law, Jeanette and Tom Tiwald, Lincoln, NE; 7 grandchildren, Teresa, Levio, Kenneth, Joe IV, Christopher, Claire and Nicholas; 13 great grandchildren; 17 great great grandchildren. VISITATION begins at 5pm on Friday, July 26, 2013 with Rosary at 6:30pm at Johnston Mortuary. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL 10am Saturday, July 27, 2013 at Saint Frances Cabrini Church. Interment Hillcrest Memorial Park. Memorials to family, St. Frances Cabrini Church or charity of choice.
JOHN E. JOHNSTON & SON

If you wish, you can sign the memorial guest book for Louise’s family here.

I’m by no means done with this subject. I’m going to be hammering on the travesty of the illegal alien crime epidemic in upcoming posts. We have a core population of human toxic waste, sitting in our prisons, soon to be released into the midst of unsuspecting general society and a network of agents of the Sinaloa and Zetas Mexican drug cartels, committing crimes on their behalf. All while this is going on, we have Paul Ryan promising that legalization will be voted on in Congress this coming October! We have Senator Menendez promising illegals and their advocates that all that is necessary to enact amnesty is to get ANY immigration bill out of the House and into conference with the Senate!

But for now, there is something you can do. Ask the management of the restaurant, hotel, lawn maintenance company and any number of other businesses you spend money with, if they are screening their new hires and employees with EVerify. If the answer is no – ask why not. EVerify is 96 percent accurate now, and false positives for bonafide citizens can be remedied easily by producing a variety of documents that confirm legal status. There is no excuse not to use it. They don’t have to wait for Congress to require it.

Louise Sollowin’s family, yours and mine, deserve nothing less.

States are Nullifying Obamacare

The final arbiters of the United States Constitution is you, through your State.  The States have the authority to nullify unconstitutional laws. Thomas Jefferson, in his draft of the Kentucky Resolution, called unconstitutional laws "null and void," so why would States be required to implement illegal laws that are null and void?

Clintons Angered by Comparison to Weiners

By Douglas V. Gibbs

Bill and Hillary Clinton are livid that the Weiners, Anthony and Huma, are being compared to them, from the sexual perversions of the men, to the "stand by your man" attitude of the women.

And they are right, there is a huge difference.  Anthony Weiner sent out pictures of his namesake on the Internet and texts, while Bill Clinton actually "got some."

Besides, I thought getting caught doing something naughty was a career enhancement for democrats.

Worldwide Roman Perversion

By Douglas V. Gibbs

The Roman Empire collapsed from within.  Internal corruption, and immoral standards rotted the foundations of the great empire, and pillar by pillar the whole system collapsed.  An attempt to use religion to resurrect the empire was attempted, and the Holy Roman Empire fought to remain alive, but corruption from within, and a twisting of the Christian Church the empire had made its official religion, eventually led to the fall of the Eastern Empire as well.

The sins of the society caught up to them.  Man's way is the way to doom.  They practiced abortion, but took it even further than we've gotten to (though I am sure we are not too far away from this kind of madness), by allowing couples to kill their baby up to two years of age by leaving the child by the roadside to die from the elements. Underground Christians were fined and jailed for saving the babies by snatching them up and providing for them.

The empire also suffered from sexual perversion of a range from homosexuality to pedophilia.  Promiscuity was the norm.  The orgies of the time of Caligula are legendary to the secularists.

In today's society we offer an abortion pill to young girls for free, now, and want to punish religious institutions for not handing out contraceptives, including the abortion pill, for free.  Our culture has taken a turn for the worst, not just in the sense of homosexuality, but with the consequences of the sexual revolution as well, which is leading to even sexually explicit cartoons on a major television network.  Sex sells, and the "sexing" of our society has reached epic proportions.

We are either going to stop this and drop to our knees in revival, or the perversion of Rome will collapse not just America, but the entire world.

The real question is how long will the barbarity after the collapse last?  Are we setting a model for the future generations that pull this planet from the ashes to follow?  Or is the guy with the sign on the street right?  Is the End truly Near?

Without Choice, the Disease Wins

By Douglas V. Gibbs

The ability to choose is a basic part of being a free willed individual.  Choice is liberty.  To not be able to choose is bondage.  But, with choice comes responsibility.  We have many choices in life, but many come with consequences that are not favorable to us, or those around us, be it in the immediate sense, or down the road.  Therefore, our choices must be accompanied by reason.  We must be responsible in our choices, both for our own welfare, and the welfare of those around us.

Human Nature tends to point inward.  We are naturally a selfish being, and that is okay, as long as we use responsibility regarding that trait.  We can choose to be bossy, or be leaders.  We can choose to be greedy, or profitable.  We can choose to be responsible individuals, or literally lead ourselves into bondage.

Responsible choices can be hard to come by, it seems.  But sometimes the choice is not the choice itself, but the motivation behind the choice.

Matthew 7:13-14 says: "Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few."

We don't know the future, and since our lives are a direct result of the choices we make, sometimes it can be difficult to determine if a particular choice is the best choice.  Imagine the early colonists to the New World making the choice to make the perilous journey to a place where there is no civilization, and no going back.  Their choices had to be carefully measured, for though there were many reasons to remain in the comfort, or in some cases the discomfort, of their home country, the promise of the freedom to choose anything and everything in their lives was stronger.  In the New World the journey would be difficult, and life would be near impossible, but the potential pursuit of opportunities were great.  The ability to be a property owner, and choose what crops to grow, and how one would live their lives (including the pursuit of religious liberty) was a choice they felt they had to make - so they took the risk.

For most, the result of their choice was death.  Of the first 500 colonists over time to make their way to Jamestown, only 60 survived.  But, their individual choice paved the way, making it easier for those that followed them - and many understood this may be the result of their choices.  For some, the choice was not for themselves, but for their posterity.

The English Colonies grew, and prospered once a cash crop, tobacco, was discovered.  The choices of those early settlers were beneficial to those that followed.  But new choices arose.  New decisions were wrestled with.  Bad and good.  The choice of slavery joined the choice of freedom - a paradoxical atmosphere in a place that would ultimately come to be the symbol of liberty.  And as all of the turmoil, slavery, and war with the tyranny of The Crown gripped the shores of the land on the western edge of the Atlantic, the choice of independence gripped America.  The choice of independence was also a difficult one to make, but in the end, it was choice that led the United States to gain independence, and grow into a prosperous nation that even reversed one of its choices, abandoning slavery and striking it from the laws of the nation.

The death of slavery, however, led to the potential for a new slavery. . . progressivism.

The desire for Americans to continue to benefit from the freedom of individual choice was one of the inspirations of the Declaration of Independence.  The text of that declaration declares choice to be a right, and one that is granted by the Creator.  The pursuit of happiness cannot be pursued without the availability of choice.  Personal choice is the engine behind innovation, and without innovation a society remains static, unable to grow and move forward.

Government does not innovate, it simply controls.  Individuals innovate.  Individualism, fueled by choices we believe to be best for our own welfare fuels the free market, and makes nations prosper.  Individual choice is what has made America great.

But, with freedom comes responsibility.  As the old saying goes, "Just because you can, does not mean you should."

Freedom can only thrive if the populace makes responsible choices.

John Adams said, "Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other."

Adams was not saying that everyone necessarily has to be Christian, or church goers, though it doesn't hurt, to necessarily be able to live in harmony with the society capable of living hand in hand with the principles put forth by the Constitution.  I have friends that are not "religious," but definitely fit into the mold of being moral and religious in the way Adams meant it.  What he meant, and what we have been as a nation until progressivism has worked to dismantle it, is a nation that follows the standards that accompany a system based on Christian-Judeo values.  A virtuous society recognizes the importance of choice, that it is a God-given right, and the importance of making moral choices - choices consistent with the virtuous nature of the said society.

To make choices contrary to what Adams considered to be moral and religious would be to doom our culture to collapse, and ultimate death.

Proverbs 14:12 says: "There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way to death."

The founders believed that Divine Providence had a hand in the founding of this nation, and if our choices remained consistent with the biblical standards of the Creator, the nation would prosper, and stand the test of time.  But, that path must be a choice.  The people must choose to follow the path to remain moral and religious, and must choose the path to continue to keep the Constitution the law of the land.  That is, in addition to reasons of compromise to ensure the Constitution received enough ratification votes, among the motivations behind the federal government not straight out outlawing slavery at the beginning.  If the nation was to move forward, shedding the sin of slavery, it must be a choice.

State Sovereignty must be behind the choice, for the States were to be as us - individual and autonomous.

Proverbs 19:21: "Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the Lord that will stand."

Be it disobedience to God, disobedience to basic morality, or disobedience to common sense, the fact is we have spent a little over the last one hundred years doing what we can to move away from the principles of the Constitution, away from moral standards, and ultimately away from choice.  For the claim of the common good we are losing our choice to bondage under the rule of a tyrannical government.

From the slaughter of the innocent unborn, to defying natural sexuality for perversion, our choices are being engineered to deny choice.  We have literally decided to begin calling wrong "right," and right "wrong."  Even in the aftermath of the Zimmerman verdict, the progressive liberal left Marxists are calling for us to abandon our right to defend ourselves if attacked, telling us that we have a duty to retreat instead.  But without the choice of defending ourselves, that leaves us with no choice at all.

Once, during a radio program I was hosting, during a conversation about the dangers of the Affordable Care Act, a.k.a. Obamacare, a listener from Canada called in to tell me how wonderful their government run health care was.  He then added that where he lived in Alberta, the auto insurance was also government run.  I asked, "What if it wasn't good. What if the service was bad, you car was not fixed, and you hated it."

"But it is wonderful," he responded.

"What if it wasn't.  Do you really believe the government will always maintain it as wonderful?  Wouldn't you want a choice to go to as an alternative, just in case?"

I had broken his argument, because deep down, our free will demands that we always have a choice.

We should always have a choice.  And choice often wins out.

Michelle Obama, for example, tried to impose her nutritional standards on schools, but the children made a choice.  They did not like the food available, and made the choice not to eat it.  They complained about being hungry, and it confused the liberal left.

In Detroit a local income tax was imposed, and the wealthy left the city, leaving the city in big trouble financially.  The liberal left was confused.  They did not expect the people to make the choice to abandon the city.

Choice is our ultimate weapon, and the purveyors of big government know it, and that is why they are working to eliminate your choice.  They want you to be unable to defend yourself, unable to speak out against things you are morally opposed to, and unable to make your own decisions.  Without choice, government enslaves us.  With choice, we defeat tyranny, and liberty reigns.

Your choice.

More Than 70 Killed in Cairo Clashes Over The Weekend

By Douglas V. Gibbs

Morsi supporters, those in line with the Muslim Brotherhood, were targeted in bloody protests over the weekend.

The United States has decided not to send F-16s slated to go to Egypt in the face of the troubles - some say showing that the U.S. is taking sides.

I ask, why have we been sending financial aid in the first place to any country aligned with Islam, which has openly called for the destruction of the United States?

Seen as a military coup, which by rule would disallow the United States from sending aid, debates on how much aid to send is in discussion in Washington.

Considering our ally Israel is nearby, officials believe the United States Government needs to remain engaged in the area for fear this could ignite other instability in the region.

Self-Censoring GOP Machine Banned Sarah Palin from Talking About Who Obama Really Is During 2008 Campaign

SARAH PALIN: MCCAIN CAMPAIGN ‘BANNED’ ME FROM TALKING ABOUT JEREMIAH WRIGHT AND BILL AYERS

Sarah Palin said John McCain’s presidential campaign forbade her from talking about Barack Obama’s controversial pastor Jeremiah Wright or his association with Bill Ayers during the 2008 race.

“Though I was during the campaign running for V.P., I was banned from talking about Jeremiah Wright and Obama’s friend Bill Ayers,” Palin said on Fox News’ “On the Record with Greta Van Susteren” Friday. “Couldn’t talk about that. Couldn’t talk about Obama’s lack of knowledge and job experience and the things that he said like America had 57 states, things like that.”

“In the campaign, Greta, this is important for Americans to understand — I was not allowed to talk about things like that because those elitists, those who are the brainiacs in the GOP machine running John McCain’s campaign at the time said that the media would eat us alive if we brought up these things,” she continued.

That “self-censoring,” Palin said, meant a campaign where “we weren’t allowed to tell the truth about who the candidate was, Barack Obama.”

Pulling out a sheet of paper she called the “redneck version of a white board” like that used by GOP strategist Karl Rove, Palin said the country has now been engulfed in scandals including the IRS, Benghazi and Fast and Furious.

What Ben Franklin Would Have Thought About the Welfare State

"Repeal that [welfare] law, and you will soon see a change in their manners. St. Monday and St. Tuesday, will soon cease to be holidays. Six days shalt thou labor, though one of the old commandments long treated as out of date, will again be looked upon as a respectable precept; industry will increase, and with it plenty among the lower people; their circumstances will mend, and more will be done for their happiness by inuring them to provide for themselves, than could be done by dividing all your estates among them."--Benjamin Franklin, letter to Collinson, 1753

Obama Says We Need To Fix The Economy

By Douglas V. Gibbs

President Barack Obama has spoken to the people: "We need to fix the economy."

Hasn't he been saying that for nearly five years already?

El Presidente has no interest in fixing the economy.  Why fix it, when the liberal left can tear us down by devaluing the dollar, ultimately crashing the system when the dollar ceases to be the world's reserve currency, and then forcing us into a global currency which will ultimately erase our borders, our sovereignty, and our individual liberties?

Obama's recent speech about how we need to fix the economy, instead of being distracted by "political posturing and phony scandals," even has the liberal media scratching their heads.

Who is buying this tripe other than the uninformed government dependents that believe everything he says without question?

Unfortunately, the republicans are buying it.

Where is their response?  They are so busy trying to be more like their opposition that they keep blowing opportunity after opportunity to expose this lying bastard for what he is.  He is saying the things he said during his campaign in 2008.  Obama is telling us that it is time somebody has gotten serious about the economy, and the way things have been going just won't work.

Has he not been in office for over a full term?

Yes, I get it, presidents don't directly influence economies to the positive.  They work with the legislators, and so forth, and the potential for growth does not lie in government, but in the private sector.  But Obama has not been working with the Congress, and he has been doing what he can to impede the private sector.  In fact, he acts as if Congress isn't there, and that businesses are the enemy.  He is doing everything through executive orders and his regulatory agencies to bypass Congress, and handcuff the business world.  Obama has been doing nothing to help the economy, and has been spending us into oblivion - and suddenly he is saying someone else is at fault for the faltering economy?

It's like if you were pushing a wheel barrow up a hill, and Obama was tossing large stones into it, but saying to you, "Someone has got to make your load lighter," and then you agreeing and thanking him for the words.

Then the republicans are walking around your wheel barrow saying, "Yeah, we agree, we will figure out a way to make your load lighter, but we just have to figure out another way of doing it," as they toss some of their own stones into your burden.

How about we just start taking stones out of the damn thing?

In the economy, that would be called: Cutting Spending and getting rid of the federal influence being imposed on the corporate community!!!

The Republican Party has lost their mind on this, however.  They are so busy trying not to be disliked by people that will never like them that they are not pointing at the absurdity of Barack Obama blaming others for a faltering economy when he, and his cronies, have been in control for five years (seven if you count when the democrats first took control of Congress).  The GOP has the House of Representatives, or at least has for the last couple years, and they aren't even trying to use what little influence they have to stop this train wreck.  The democrats have been largely doing as they please, and then Obama is still blaming some invisible force for being at fault for the lack of economic growth.

Government can't create jobs, and they can't help the economy, but they can kill jobs and destroy the economy.  Obama keeps telling us the government, as if he is not a part of it, needs to get busy fixing the economy, as they destroy it.  The fix is simple.  Stop destroying the economy, get out of the way, and let capitalism use the free market to do its magic.

That means the government needs to reduce spending, stop printing fiat money, reduce taxation (we now have the highest corporate tax rate in the world among developed nations), and eliminate the regulations that are keeping businesses from growing, developing new products, and the regulations that is making it impossible to launch start-ups.

If government gets out of the way, and profit becomes a driving force, jobs will be created, benefits will be offered, and wages will go up.

Meanwhile, President Obama, without being able to create anything but government jobs, more massive spending, misery, and a worsening ailing economy, is telling people that now that he's been in office for nearly five years it is time to tackle the economy, and he's going to lead the charge. . . and the idiots out there are applauding him, excited over hearing the same rhetoric they've been hearing for five years.

Shouldn't they be asking, "Hey, you've been president for five years, and you haven't done anything about this, yet?"

It's like when he rails against the crumbling infrastructure, as he did in 2008.  Should the bridges and roads be built by now?  You promised it, and now you are doing it again.  What have you been doing for five years? - aside from golfing, taking vacations, campaigning, and destroying everything you touch?

It's like the multiple divorcee of a dozen marriages.  How long before they realize that perhaps after twelve failed marriages, that just maybe, it's them that is the problem?

Obama, however, can't look at himself and say that maybe it's him, because he acts as if he is an outsider on purpose.  This is all by design.  The destruction is planned so as to knock America down a few notches.  He said in a speech this week, "Washington has taken its eye off the ball, and it has to stop."

Is he not in Washington?  Is he not the big Kahuna? Does he have nothing to do with what goes on in Washington?

He "IS" Washington, but Obama is telling us that Washington hasn't been paying any attention to the economy, and it's gotta stop. Washington has been focusing on the IRS. Washington has been focusing on Benghazi. Washington's been focusing on Trayvon Martin. Washington's been focusing on all of these things, and it's gotta stop. Washington's got to start caring about you again.

Are you kidding me?

He's doing what he's accusing everyone else of doing.  He is throwing up smoke bombs. . . he is trying to distract you from the chaos and madness he is perpetrating by design.

He's talking about Washington, and the economy, like it is 2008, again.  It is still Bush's fault, I suppose.  And the people in the crowd as Obama uttered his madness were eating it up.  They were applauding, and nodding their heads.  I am surprised they weren't shaking their fists at whoever is out there, somewhere, that is bringing down this nation that Obama has sworn to campaign against - even though that straw man does not exist!

Here's Obama's exact words. . . and as you read this, remember he has been doing this for five years. . .

"With this endless parade of distractions and political posturing and phony scandals, Washington's taken its eye off the ball. And I'm here to say this needs to stop. There are Republicans in Congress right now who privately agree with me on a lot of the ideas I'll be proposing. I know because they've said so. But they worry they'll face swift political retaliation for cooperating with me."

He is creating an enemy out of thin air.  And what phony scandals?  They are real scandals against a phony president.  It's like OZ.  Don't pay attention to the man behind the curtain, or all of the damage he is causing.  Just believe my lies, and grin as everything falls apart.  And when all hell breaks loose, he is telling us, don't forget that it is all the republican party's fault, and the TEA Party's fault, and Thomas Jefferson's fault. . .

The man is pathologically wrong in the head. . . or he's a Marxist working to finish what he started.

And the GOP is right there with him, shaking their fists in the air, screaming, "Yeah, damn those Washington demons!"

Obama says, "There are plenty of Republicans who agree with me. But they are afraid to say so." Again, creating a mythical foe.  Who are these people?  Name them.  Bring them out of the shadows.  If doing what you are doing is such a good idea, pull them into the fold.

If those republicans are too afraid to admit it, then how do we know they are out there?

He wants you to believe that the politicians are not the problem.  There is some invisible obstacle, some group, some ideology that is in the way.  It is back to the division he has been fomenting all along.  It is Zimmerman and Trayvon, but in government.  Pull out the pitchforks and torches, for the right wing conservatives are stopping Washington from doing what it wants. . . that is what he is saying.  The conservatives won't help Obama, he is saying, and the republicans won't publicly help Obama, even though they tell him they agree with him, because they are afraid of the conservatives.  That is what he is trying to convince you of.

Divide and Conquer.  Insinuate the enemy, and be the rebel leader against them. . . even though you are the problem, and you are who you claim to be fighting against.

It is maddening.

We are consuming more than we are manufacturing, and we are economically collapsing as a result.  If we don't get government to get out of the way, and allow manufacturing to do its thing, we are done. Remember, Obama thinks consumption spurs growth, but what good is it if there are no products, and nobody to produce them, because government stands in the way?

Ultimately, Obama's policies are destroying this economy and he is blaming it on some invisible foe, while insinuating the problem is them right wingers.  He's destroying the economy, blaming it on others, and is now telling you it is time to get serious about the economy.

He's suggesting we do what the politicians in Detroit did.

Detroit taxed the rich, created division among the races, and drove out the rich, and the white, and with the producers gone and racial division engulfing the city, and government spending going up with government pensions, and government programs, and so forth, the city wound up destroyed.

This country became prosperous because of the free market, and individualism.  Individuals, driven by the opportunity to make profit, were innovative, industrious, and became wealthy.  And as those individuals, following their individual dreams, did better, jobs were created, goods were produced, and the market thrived.  Government is an obstacle.  Government is quelling the free market, regulating us into poverty, and destroying the business sector.

He wants this entire country to be like Detroit, and his liberal left mindless automaton voting class is buying it as being a good thing.

Obama is trying to turn this country into Detroit, and he is being applauded for it.

He is finally ready to go to work, he says, on the economy.

That is what I truly fear.

Obama, Ho Chi Minh, and Thomas Jefferson

Barack Obama's disdain for our founding fathers, and favor towards communists is truly shocking, sometimes:

"...we discussed the fact that Ho Chi Minh was actually inspired by the U.S. Declaration of Independence and Constitution, and the words of Thomas Jefferson.”-- President Obama talking to reporters alongside Vietnamese President Truong Tan Sang.

It may come as some unwelcome news to the families of the nearly 60,000 Americans who died in the Vietnam War that the whole thing was just a misunderstanding.

That was the impression President Obama gave on Thursday when he spoke to the press after his meeting with Vietnamese President Truong Tan Sang. Sang brought Obama a copy of a letter sent to President Harry Truman from Ho Chi Minh in which the communist dictator spoke hopefully of cooperation with the United States.

Obama, striking a wistful tone, observed that it may have taken 67 years, but the United States and Vietnam were finally enjoying the relationship that Ho once wrote of. After all, Obama said, Ho had been “inspired by the words of Thomas Jefferson.”

The message here was that if only we might have bridged our differences then – if only Ho and Truman could have done what Obama and Sang did this week, so much unpleasantness might have been avoided.

While Jefferson did get pretty fired up about “the blood of tyrants,” it’s hard to see how the Sage of Monticello inspired the murderous career of the Vietnamese dictator. Ho famously slaughtered his opponents, including the infamous butchery of peasant farmers who resisted his brutal taxation in the early days of Ho’s regime. Not particularly Jeffersonian.

Political Truth

By Douglas V. Gibbs

There are certain truths in life that one cannot deny.

Don't give powers to government you would not want your opponent to possess.

Government is not charity.

If there is no money, don't spend it.

Rights are not granted by government, therefore government is not supposed to take them away.

A government that tries to control individual choice is a tyranny.

A government that wishes to take away a person's right to stand their ground does so because people who don't defend themselves are easy to control.

Removing God takes away a population's ability to stand for something.

The Constitution was written to limit government, and protect us against administrations like the current one.

Bankrupt Detroit council busy pushing DOJ to probe Zimmerman

With absolutely nothing better to do these days,Detroit’s City Council members unanimously passed a resolution Tuesday supporting theDepartment of Justice’s civil rights investigation into George Zimmerman.Apparently, these bored-to-tears council members with nothing to do and no money to run their bankrupt city needed to find an issue –even one in another state – to insert themselves in, and decided a federal investigation into whether Zimmerman violated Trayvon Martin’s civil rights waste the way to go.Thankfully, Councilman Kenneth Cockrel, Jr. reminded his colleagues of the pretty horrific black-on-black crime rate right there in its own backyard.“We need to have that same level of outrage with respect to the black-on-black crime that takes place in our community,” Cockrel said, according to the Detroit Free Press. “How many people were shot — maybe even shot and killed this past weekend in the city — mostly likely by folks who look just like them?”This is so ludicrous there is nothing more to say except, rest in peace, Detroit.

Constitution Class: 1st Amendment

New time: 6:30 - tonight we will discuss the first amendment... Freedom of speech, press, and assembly. Meet us at Faith Armory on Winchester Rd. Just south of Jefferson in Temecula.

Dismantling Freedom of Association

By Douglas V. Gibbs

During the years before the American Revolution, the British Empire did not allow citizens to assemble in groups in public. The King's government feared that citizens assembling in groups could lead to the attempt to overthrow the government.  William Penn, in 1670, was convicted for public preaching.  As the call for independence approached, deeper restrictions on public assembly were enforced, to restrict the colonists from assembling to protest the various Acts passed by Parliament that attempted to tax and control the colonial population.

The right to assembly runs hand in hand with the right of association, a key principle in the founding of this nation, because of the key importance to those who wanted to correct wrongs done by their government. If they could not assemble, they could not achieve their goals.

Freedom of Association is defined as the right of people to meet together to further their common goals. Furthering their goals might include such things as organizing their efforts, marching, picketing or gathering in public places.

Like-minded people associating together is seen as dangerous by a statist government when those people oppose the policies, or social-engineering, of the ruling class of government.

The concept of the Freedom of Association came to mind when I heard about the NFL's plans to begin inspecting tattoos for signs of any gang affiliations, so as to avoid, in the future, any problems like the murder allegedly committed by New England Patriots' star, Aaron Hernandez.  This seems good on the surface.  It makes sense, in a way.  But we have to remember that evil always first portrays itself as good, and ultimately good for society as a whole - when in truth, when considered regarding the big picture, it is actually very damaging.

The NFL is a private enterprise.  They can do as they please with their business.  I am not challenging their allowances as a private corporation.  As the signs say in many establishments, "We have the right to refuse service to anyone."  But, checking tattoos, so as to ban players who have associations not approved by the league, is a part of a larger trend that we are also seeing pop up in government.  Though I get what the NFL is trying to do, I have a real problem with them banning players based on their past associations, as revealed by tattoos they may have.

What happens if government begins to do the same thing?  What happens if hanging out with certain patriot groups, or being the member of a particular church, can lead to you being disallowed to participate in some functions of society, or even some functions of government?

Sound preposterous?

Hold that thought.

Senator Ted Cruz says that we are on the doorstep of the government going after preachers for hate-speech if they dare preach in opposition to homosexuality.  What if you have a history of attending churches that preach the same?  Will you be penalized for daring to associate with such defiant churches?

The San Antonio City Council in the State of Texas is working on a proposed change to its nondiscrimination ordinances that will target those who take the Bible at its word and follow it.  Any past association with people, groups, or churches that teaches the Bible's condemnation of homosexuality will be punished with a permanent ban on participation in city government, business or employment - because such an association exhibits a "bias" not acceptable to the local government.  Article VI. of the U.S. Constitution is specific, disallowing religious tests as a requirement to hold any office or public trust.  The planned ordinance change also spits in the face of the concept of Freedom of Association.

Association with groups unapproved by the government are forbidden, is basically what San Antonio is saying.

We already have seen the IRS targeting those that dared to associate with patriot groups.  Now, your religious freedoms, and Freedom of Association, are being targeted, and you will be punished for associating with those that preach in a manner not acceptable to ruling government bureaucrats.

The San Antonio proposal goes after "Anyone in office who demonstrates a bias," which would then consider those persons to be guilty of “malfeasance” and removed from office.

If you voice any opinion, no matter when in life you uttered it, San Antonio plans to use it against you.

Local church leaders say it allows the city council "to prohibit those that speak their religious beliefs regarding homosexuality from serving on city boards."

“For example, if a person publicly expresses their religious belief that homosexual behavior is a sin – even if this expression is at a church service – that person could be frozen out of involvement with city government.”

Analysis also contends businesses “run by people of faith will be subject to criminal penalties if they refuse to provide services that conflict with their religious beliefs relating to homosexuality.”

Heck, the Left is even trying to keep people from seeing the movie "Ender's Game," because the author of the book it is based on, Orson Scott Card, is pro-traditional marriage.  Chaplains are being silenced for daring to preach the word in the military.  Your Freedom of Association is under attack, because the Left is using their social beliefs as weapons by calling their social beliefs "civil rights."

Liberalism is positioning itself to eliminate all opposition, and to criminalize it, if it must.  Your Freedom of Association is a threat to their tyranny.  Your willingness to gather in groups to defy them causes fear in the halls of government.  Your are harder to control if you associate freely.

The Founding Fathers warned us about this kind of madness, and we must assemble to put a stop to it.

Freedom of Association, of which the liberal left is working to take away, must be our greatest weapon.

United We Stand, Combined We Kick Butt.

Japan Scrambles Jets Against Assumed Chinese Maritime Expansion

Japan scrambled fighter jets on Wednesday after a Chinese military aircraft flew for the first time through international airspace near its southern islands out over the Pacific, in a move seen by Japan as underlining China's maritime expansion.

Ties between China and Japan have been strained by a territorial dispute over uninhabited East China Sea islets and hawkish Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe won a decisive victory in upper house elections on Sunday.

Japan's Defense Ministry said a Chinese Y-8 airborne early warning plane flew through airspace between Okinawa prefecture's main island and the smaller Miyako island in southern Japan out over the Pacific at around noon and later took the same route back over the East China Sea.

"I believe this indicates China's move toward further maritime expansion," Japanese Defense Minister Itsunori Onodera told reporters

Playing God: Human-Animal Hybrids

Did you know that scientists all over the globe are creating extremely bizarre human-animal chimeras? Over the past decade, there have been some absolutely stunning advances in the field of genetic modification. Today, it is literally possible for college students to create new lifeforms in their basements. Unfortunately, laws have not kept pace with these advancements, and in many countries there are very few limits on what scientists are allowed to do. As you will read about below, extremely creepy human-animal hybrids are now being created in laboratories all over the planet. And this is just the stuff that is publicly admitted. Can you imagine what kind of sick and twisted experiments are taking place in the dark corners of secret labs that nobody knows about? And what happens if these creatures get out into the wild and starting mating? At that point, it would be nearly impossible to "put the genie back into the bottle". Scientists seem very eager to test the limits of what is possible, but what they are unleashing may have consequences that none of us ever dreamed possible.

Conservative Groups? IRS a part of targeting Candidates, too. . . Like Christine O'Donnell

Delaware state officials have told Congress that they likely destroyed the computer records that would show when and how often they accessed Christine O'Donnell’s personal tax records and acknowledged that a newspaper article was used as the sole justification for snooping into the former GOP Senate candidate’s tax history.

The revelations to Sen. Chuck Grassley’s office came Tuesday as the Treasury Department’s inspector general for tax administration, the government’s chief watchdog for the Internal Revenue Service, formally reopened its investigation into the matter by re-interviewing Ms. O'Donnell.

“It is an active investigation now,” Ms. O’Donnell told The Washington Times after meeting with the same Treasury agent who first informed her in January that her tax records were improperly accessed.

She declined to be more specific about what the agent questioned her about in Tuesday’s session.

But Mr. Grassley, an Iowa Republican who serves on the Judiciary and Finance committees, said he was concerned by the information Delaware state officials shared with his investigators.

Specifically, Mr. Grassley’s staff was told that a Delaware state investigator asked for and received permission from his boss on a Saturday to access Ms. O'Donnell’s tax records based on a local newspaper article about a civil lien. The lien, it turned, out was issued erroneously.

Huma: I Stand by my Weiner

Correction: "Stand by your man" was sung by Tammy Wynette.

 Douglas V. Gibbs

For some reason Loretta Lynn's "Stand By Your Man" comes to mind, except I don't think that even the Coal Miner's Daughter would be willing to stick around for this perverted wanker.  It turns out that Anthony "Beavis" Weiner has been showing off his political pole to more than just his Twitter followers, and this time it was a part of a sexting campaign for the sexual responses of a specific woman. . . that was not his wife.

Huma Abedin, a Muslim Brotherhood connected former aid to Hillary Clinton married to a liberal leftist Jew, had plenty to say about her husband's antics.  Specifically, she said she loves him, and will stand by him.

As Weiner's mayoral candidacy in New York took a hit over his latest escapades, Beavis reassured his followers that he, and his privateers in his pants, will be staying in the race.

Huma and Hillary seems to have a lot in common. . . standing by a pervert for potential future political stardom.  If he was a republican, his political future would have been gone long before his dictapics, and sexting.  Hell, who'd vote for a GOP candidate named Weiner?

So, the democrats are hailing a woman who sticks by her man after he acts in this manner, celebrating Huma for being taken advantage of and for being cheated on. . . and who do they claim have launched a war on women?

By Douglas V. Gibbs

The liberal left is in the process of racial positioning.  The task of dividing America along racial lines has been a successful ruse.  When America is a house divided, we fall under the threat of tyranny.  In line with today's civil rights leaders, the Obama administration, and the democrat party, are crying foul after the Zimmerman verdict; not because they are in search of justice, but to keep the fires of racial divide burning.  Without racism in America, the race-baiters have no movement.  Without racism in America, the black civil rights leaders, and people like Barack Obama, have no reason to reside in a position of prominence.

They know that the children are watching.  The deconstructionists have taught the children well, convincing the young minds of America that we are a racist nation, born with the racism of slavery, and driving forward as a nation run by, as Reverend Jeremiah Wright put it, "Rich White People!"

We must stamp out the racism, for the sake of the future of the children, we are told.  Otherwise, the children will have to pay the bill that we were unwilling to resolve.  The task of stamping out racism, however, is impossible. . . not because racism is incurable, but because without racism the race-baiters would have no weapons to use against us so as to force us into their mold.  They would have no cause, no crisis, and no grievance.

Barack Obama knows the power of racism.  We are told he taught Constitutional Law in his younger years, but what he taught was how to use the 14th Amendment to gain a racial advantage.  He taught how to use racism, and claim it is constitutional.

The narrative being pushed by this administration is not that racism exists because whites have the potential to be racist, but that a number of people in this nation are racists because they are white.  You can't escape it.  Even locking your door is racist.  You can't help it. You're white.

As racism rises in this nation under Obama's watch, where blacks are being told by the administration that all whites are "creepy ass crackers," the democrats are now turning on any republican leadership, as well.  They plan to take down the conservatives of the GOP before they can gain any ground.  The liberal left is working to defeat the republicans, using accusations of racism, before those people can even become contenders.

Rand Paul is being accused of being a racist because of his aid, Jack Hunter, also known as the Southern Avenger (of whom's articles I have read often).  Hunter wears a confederate battle flag mask in an image attached to his "Southern Avenger" persona.  He believes the confederacy had a right to secede, on the grounds of State's rights, which the left believes automatically makes him a racist.  As far as they are concerned, Hunter wants a return to slavery.  They think he's pissed that blacks are walking around freely.  He simply recognizes that the civil war began due to state's rights, and the slavery component did not become the primary reason until Lincoln made it that way with the Emancipation Proclamation.

Ted Cruz has also become a target of calls that he's a racist.  In his case, it is because he attended an Immigration Rally hosted, according to the Left, by a Proud Racist.  Ken Crow, a Tea Party leader who spoke at the rally, is misrepresented in a statement about "breeding," which, according to the Left, makes him racist.  John Trenton, the organizer of the rally, is portrayed as a white supremacist, again misrepresented.  The very fact that the rally is against illegal immigration makes it racist, as far as the left is concerned.

Obama is right, to a point.  Racism is alive and well in America, and the President is the lead racist.  He is leading the charge for racial division, and the troops are falling in behind him chanting the same racist rants.

Racism is alive and well, by design, and the democrats are creating it, and using it, for power through division.

And of course I am sure the leftists think that because I think Obama, and a number of blacks following his madness, are racist, that makes me racist.

That is how it works.  They can't be racist, but I must be, because I am white.
