The opinion section this morning proclaimed, in big, bold lettering, that Hillary Clinton is brave, showed her good side yesterday, and spoke sensibly about Iraq. They are applauding her for saying, "However chaotic it gets, we can't just pack our bags and come home."
She has flipped-flopped again.
But why?
The leftist support-ring propagates hate and ill-will. They burn American Flags and then defecate on it as was witnessed in the Portland, Oregon protests, piss on the memorials in Washington D.C., spray graffiti on our capital, trash whatever location they protest at, lump illegal immigration and the war in Iraq together and scream anti-American sentiments as they did yesterday in rallies in Los Angeles, as well as embarrassing the normal people out there that may, in some way, possibly agree with their political position, but are taken aback by these horrendous actions. Hillary sees this, and she wants to distance herself from the radicals.
But, you see, that is how the left tends to deal with most explosive situations. They turn their back, put their hands over their ears, sing la-la-la-la-la, and pretend it doesn't exist. Then they spew their socialist ideas over and over and over until a few folks actually start to believe it. Before you know it, we will be joining a global community based on these ideals that the left seems to hold so dear, and then what will we do?
That's how the left deals with the radicals of Islam as well. They pretend they aren't really that bad, and then accuse the United States of being bullies. What part of "war" do you not understand? Were we bullies to go into Japan or Germany seventy years ago?
So here it is, in plain English (the left would prefer a second version in Spanish too, but they ain't gettin' it).
-Radical Islamic Terrorists Bad. They want to destroy us, and our way of life, and the only way to make them stop is to "Make Them Stop!" In other words, with strength.
-Jumping the border is illegal and bad. They wish for open borders so that those from a country that is messed up because they can't get their stuff straight can come here and take advantage of what we worked hard for. They did not help make this nation great, but they want to benefit from it, and eventually change it into what they departed from. And they are willing to break the law to do it.
-Global Warming is a lie. Science has proven that CO2 does not cause Global Warming. The warming trend of our planet is causing the increase of CO2. And in the fight to stop mankind from destroying our planet, of which we are not destroying because we are too minuscule to pull that off, the left is disallowing developing countries from developing so that they won't produce CO2, leaving those nations poor, and for their people to suffer. Who's the bully now?
-Political Correctness in incorrect. You can make some of the people happy some of the time, but you can't make everyone happy all of the time. Judeo-Christian values, of which this nation was founded upon, is slowly being removed from our society in the name of Political Correctness. Such demoralization was also the last thing to happen just before the collapse of Rome, Babylon, Greece, and other great civilizations.
-Wealth distribution is idiotic. I worked hard for what I have, and I am proud of being self-reliant. I will not allow the government to take my private property, of which I worked hard to achieve, and redistribute it to a bunch of folks that have no participated in making the American Dream a reality. You get out what you put in.
And I can keep going. Fact is, liberals have proven they can't be trusted, and they are destructive to the fabric of American Freedom.
Makes me sick.

I often wondered how she did it!
Really Dave? You often wondered? How often?
Sorry DG - I couldn't let that one go.
Frankly the sick tactics used by the left these days are starting to make suicide bombers look good.
I watched about 2 minutes of the Portland video and had to click it off, them chanting Bye-Bye GI, In Iraq you're gonna die! And then dousing the effigy... I threw up a little in my mouth. Literally.
Dave, that's why Bill looks elsewhere. He's a ladies man.
So great that you called in this monring Doug, it was awesome to hear your voice again.
thanks, Jenn. The thing that got most under my skin was not just the actions of the anti-war protestors (or should I call them freaks) in peeing on the memorials and the graffiti and such, but burning the American Flag and then defecating on it in Portland just appalled me. I know that all members of the left do not support such activity, but man, you don't see that junk from the right (or at least rarely). I just don't understand people, sometimes.
Its such a one way street with the left .And then we are called intolerant! ...Hmmm!
Oh and may I.. www.mypointradio.net
To attribute the actions of a few to the many is to bear false witness.
Some would even call it prejudice.
And almost every assassination of American hero's (Lincoln, JFK, RFK, MLK), and also non-American hero's (Gandhi) was carried out by a Right-Wing extremist. That's an immutable fact...period.
You group all the Lefties together with idiots like they who were found in Portland, Oregon. So I ask: Should I group you with the likes of Booth, Ray, Oswald, Sirhan Sirhan, and Godse?
I'm a Conservative but I get tired of people who claim to be patriotic, yet bash others simply because of their political leaning. To question someone's patriotism, motives, whatever, all because they have a different idea about how to deal with radical Islam. Unreal.
The Lefties that defecate on our flag, piss on memorials, are nuts. They are not patriotic, in my opinion. But neither are they that question the patriotism of others because of a disagreement in our government. The majority of the Left in this country has done nothing to be deemed unpatriotic, or even have that term associated with their name.
The fact that you group all the Left together as ONE is what makes me sick. Naivety!
Proletariat
Hi Doug,
I like that photo of Hillary standing over the urinals, now that is as funny as can be.
Look how the Liberals get their dander in a jam, and here all this time Prostrate or I mean Proletariat was claiming not to be a Liberal, my how he changes with the wind I guess that is a true definition of a Liar.
DG - the post you deleted was a Shakespeare reference.
Hmmmm, I could have sworn there was much more to your post than the behavior of the rabid anti-American nuts in Portland. I guess Proletariat missed all of it.
Do I lump all lefties into one group? Interesting how when a nutjob claiming to be rightwing does something stupid, that person is either alone, or it is a small group, but the leftists commit their destructive behaviors in groups of thousands. ProletaRiAT, you are teetering on being banned. MK, minimize.
DG, it is interesting. I think you're making my point, unintentionally.
I am not making your point MK, I just know what I see, and it is easy to be critical of folks that don't understand the necessity to defend the nation, create lies like the Global Warming idea to move the nation more toward governmental control, are tolerant of everybody except those of faith, are satisfied with the slaughter of unborn children and then to cover up the wrongness of it proclaims it to be a "choice", grants more rights to people crossing the border illegally than the ones that follow the law to immigrate properly, and undermines everything our Constitution stands for. The anti-war protestors represent an outward expression of your liberal belief system. If you disagree with them, then don't support them, and denounce them. Don't play little word games. The difference between liberals and conservatives is simple. Members of the Left like yourself read and follow liberal ideas, while conservatives like me understand them and reject them. If your ideals are proven wrong, you blindly continue to support it. If mine are, I make the change (and just because a bunch of liberal cronies scream something is wrong does not make it so - that was proven by the Global Warming Lie) I recognize a wrong as a wrong, and let that be that. Your liberal friends come across a wrong and say, "Unless you totally disagree, which you have a right to, or if you fall under the following exceptions, which can be outlined in another paragraph and section. . . " Liberals forget that big government is what the founding fathers were trying desperately to getting away from! Our Constitution, as stated by Reagan, is a document that protects the people from the government. So, while spending so much time claiming that you and your liberal friends are adhering to the Constitution of the United States of America, you are actually creating an environment in this nation that America was set up to be against, to get away from, and to not become. The founding fathers would be disappointed in you. As for your point, this is my blog, and it is not a democracy, it is owned and operated by me, and if I want to ban, warn, or delete, that is my business. Period.
DG -I never said, EVER, that it isn't your right to ban me, if that's what you feel you need to do, under pressure or otherwise...then by all means, do what you feel you need to do. I hope you don't, but I understand the pressure your under.
*****
Of course, Global Warming isn't a lie. 89% of the population claims to be of faith. There is no such thing a as an unborn child. Abortion was legal at the time of the writing of the U.S. Constitution. Being anti-war and anti-Iraq war are two different things.
It's because I support the troops that I oppose the war. It's a simple concept, a conviction, in fact, hardly a word game.
If, DG, you actually understood liberal beliefs, you wouldn't feel the need to constantly mis-characterizes liberal thought. Why not let liberals speak for themselves? Why do you feel the need to speak for us, when we can speak for ourselves?
We all recognize wrongs: you, nor the rightwing have the copywrite on the ability to recognize wrongs.
I recognize a wrong, for example, when I am the one who doesn't resort to profanity on your site, yet I'm the one who's asked to lay low. That's called irony.
My liberal friends? I don't believe you've ever met them? What does that mean? I have all kinds of friends.
Our founding fathers were trying to escape a monarchy, and establish a new government. The size of government was to be flexible, depending on the needs of the citizenry.
One of the most harmful aspects of the Reagan Administration, was the idea of our government itself (as opposed to an administration) being harmful. I believe in the Constitution as the founding fathers envisioned it, and hence, I'm not anti-government like rightwingers are. I love my country, and am proud to pay taxes.
And DG - again, who ever said you don't have the right to ban me? But are you going to ban every literate person who comes across your blog and disagrees with you? I don't believe that's what you want your legacy to be. I don't think that's who you are.
I understand you are under pressure. I'm not the one telling you what to do, or what you should do, or how you should feel, or what you should do if you feel the way your so-called friends feel.
As for the home analogy, which, btw, isn't the legal standard for blogging (a blog being more of a public forum) what if you invited me to your home, as you have, and your other guests let fly with insults? Would you let a guest insult another guest vs, disagreeing? Where's the courage in that?
I will respond as clearly and slowly as I can so that you understand, Mudkitty:
Manmade Global Warning is a lie: see my post on March 18 for video support of my argument. If 89% claim to be of faith, then why was there a war on Christmas and why is it in this world of tolerance Christianity is under constant attack, and don't lie and say that that is not true (and just because someone says they have some kind of faith, or even claim to be Christian that doesn't mean they are, but that is between them and God, just an observation), if you believe there is no such thing as an unborn child than you have bought into the lie (after conception the cells are alive, and at two months the unborn child has a beating heart and arms and legs), and I don't believe abortion was a common practice in colonial times, it was technically legal I am sure because the thought of murdering an unborn child, for the most part was not a problem and probably repulsive; I understand if someone is anti-Iraq war they are not necessarily against the war on terror, but whether you agreed with us going into Iraq or not, sending our troops the negative images of the protests (burning effigies, etc) and for Congress to act as they are is killing the moral, and it is wrong to even consider leaving the region at this point in the conflict because of the harm such a pullout would cause, I understand liberal beliefs better than you know, but the inconsistencies are so numerous that it can be construed as mis-characterization simply because what is true about them today is not necessarily true tomorrow due to all of the flipflops. Some things, however, are consistent, and I think I covered them quite well in the post, if you recognize wrongs then after being confronted with the scientific proof that human caused/CO2 caused global warming is a lie, admit it. When I said "your liberal friends" obviously that was a figure of speech, please tell me that you are not too stupid to recognize it as such. I am not anti-government, I am against the government taking away my rights to self-reliance, independence, and private property. the idea of socializing medicine, the re-distribution of wealth, penalizing wealth/success with outrageous taxation, and so forth is so revolting I can't believe there are actually people out there that holds to such a belief. Didn't everybody realize that strong central governments don't work when the USSR fell? Damn right I have a right to ban you or prostaterat, or whoever else, because unlike America, this blog is not a democracy. It belongs to me. It's my party, and if I ban anybody it is not because of pressure, it is because I am tired of having to have these idiotic conversations via the comments section! And yes, if you were invited to my home and my other guests, who are my more closer friends and colleagues began to leave because you made them uncomfortable, you would have to leave. I agree that debate can be healthy, but your responses fail to carry a proper tone of debate and are more like attempts to incite. Listen to Darrel's debate with Dave on My Point Radio last Monday for an example of the proper way for a person agains the war to debate; Besides, with a blog, it's not a matter of courage, it's a matter of numbers. If anybody makes those numbers suffer, they are cut out like a cancer. This is not a public forum. And for that matter, neither are forums. I was banned from a "public forum" not too long ago because I was just too conservative for them. It happens. I was shocked, but hey, it's their forum, just like this is MY BLOG.
So you're saying you're a ratings whore? DG - I refuse to believe that. If not, than it IS a matter of courage. I notice your numbers have been lagging in terms of comments lately.
I venture to say that your ratings will suffer if you only have crotchety old men on your show.
No one is saying it isn't your blog, and you sound insecure when you repeat that. But it is a public forum that you own - like a business - a public facillity. You can ban me, but you can't fault me legally or morally for coming here.
Everyone would do themselves justice by brushing up on the law here.
DG - if you ban me, it's your right, and it will happen here publicly, and that will be sad. And I will consider that you will have capitulated to threats and pressure, that in your heart, knowing you as I have come to know you, you don't want to capitulate to. Nor was I was ever the one who was profane. If I touched nerves, it was in the pursuit of truth, justice, and the American way.
If we all agreed, it would be a soviet world indeed. m
