Who's That Communist In The White House?

President Obama is hanging on to his popularity by his fingernails. The polls say his approval ratings are plummeting, and the feelings toward his policies have long been in free fall. When average American Citizens voiced their displeasure at Townhall meetings during the Congressional recess, the Obama Democrats fired back with accusations that the protests were manufactured, and that Obama and friends were going to push back with double intensity. Later, in Virginia, Obama then proclaimed that the GOP needed to shut up and get out of the way.

Sounds like the reactions of a desperate party to me.

As the president's supporters drift toward disillusionment, the reality that his "Waterloo," also known as H.R. 3200 (that would be Obama's disastrous Health Care Reform Bill for those confused Obama supporters in Plano and Frisco, Texas), may very well fail as the Blue Dog Democrats (all 52 of them) have balked at the public option for health insurance. There are dark days ahead for Mr. Obama, as he heads to Martha's Vineyard to clear his head.

The economy is going to be the final nail in Obama's presidential coffin, as his popularity dies, and the American People realizes they have been "punk'd" in the worst way. The jobless rate is soaring, the economy is worsening, and it is becoming more and more apparent that Obama isn't some savior capable of saving us from "politics as usual." In fact, it turns out that Barry is not only the epitome of "politics as usual," but that the cess-pool of politics running through his veins is something worse than what has been corrupting Washington for all these decades. Obama has brought the thuggish, iron fisted, "agree with me or shut up and get out of the way," "you can have an opinion that disagrees with me but keep it to yourself," politics that have been dominating Chicago since time began.

In addition to far left thuggish politics, Obama is angering many of his voters with strange leaps around the circles of Washington, even embracing some of Bush's less popular tactics. Obama is now issuing a "hated by the Left" Bush tool of "signing statements," defined as: instructions to executive officials about how to interpret and put in place new laws. Obama called Bush's use of this tactic "abuse," but now President Obama has hardly used any restraint in his own use of the practice.

No big deal, right? Lose a few supporters here and there, and it doesn't mean a loss of total popularity, I suppose. Hey, he's the president, and he can do what the heck he wants, right?

The complaints about Obama's presidency, however, isn't just coming from those rightwing extremists that the Democrats so kindly defined for us in a Homeland Security Report. Democrats are also among the million-plus concerned citizens attending Tea Parties, and are now voicing their dissatisfaction at Townhall Meetings as the Congressional recess returns our fearless leaders to their districts to face the music. Obama voters are feeling the sting of buyer's remorse, and one by one are dropping off of the "Barry Got Change For You" bandwagon.

Some are still hanging on, however. They are a patient group. They are willing to wait a little longer for Obama to pay their mortgages, pay off their credit cards, and give them everything their little "Power to the People through Hope and Change" hearts desire. After all, the most popular news man in America, you know, Comedian Jon Stewart, still loves Obama. . . right?

Uh, not so fast. Even Jon Stewart, that far left crazy guy over at Comedy Central's The Daily Show is beginning to doubt the Messiah-hood of one, Barack Hussein Obama - saying recently after comparing Barack's older words with his newer deeds, "Wow. That Communist sounded a lot like our President."

And as Big Hollywood's Chris Stigall so wisely proclaimed, "If Obama loses Jon Stewart, he's lost America."

I think we can add more to that statement by adding, "If we don't lose Obama, we lose America."
