'Twas the night before liberal Christmas and in the White House
No reasoned being was stirring for they had all been cast out.
Obama was pacing, his brow curled as he fret
His mind was quite occupied by the national debt.
People were anxious as they watch the debt rise
In just one short year it had reached past the sky.
Before it had been big, that much was for sure
But now it was gigantic and quite an eye sore!
He tried and he tried to mortgage the future to gain
A firm grip by first causing then curing much pain.
It was a terrible plan that had been all but seen through
Hey what’s a billion or trillion or a gazillion or two?
His agenda collapsing like a house made of cards
He loudly did gripe about right wing blowhards.
Those evil capitalist sorts had not gone away
On the Constitution they had oh so much still to say.
Control it was slipping through his fingers so quick
He pondered how Clinton endured; Oh he was so slick!
As he slumped he did look into the mirror to see
His image and moaned, “Gosh darn it, people like me!”
With Global Warming exposed as another great fraud
He cursed at the people and even to God?
Cap and Trade was dying and not a trophy to hoist
As Capitalists danced and with care did rejoice.
Socialized Medicine he feared may still not quite pass
With a heave and a ho he through a vase through the glass.
Despite pages and pages that went on though the reams
The polls did all show that few wanted that scheme.
It wasn’t supposed to be this way so he thought
Not after the lying and all the loyalty bought.
ACORN was in shambles and nearly quite dead
But he still had Stern’s boys to crack a few heads.
He lamented their leaders as fools and dimwits
To get caught on tape soliciting hookers and pimps!
But there were other options; oh he did know them well
To order his minions to march us to Hell.
From Holdren to Jones to Llyod and to Holder
On Sunstein and Rahm and Hayes and on Browner
His administration, in case you needed the gist
Was filled to the gills with proud communists.
Regulations so bold for man made CO2
They want to get you and your little dog too.
Then they will bring terrorists to trial right here
As Obama kicks back and cracks open a beer.
But the natives grow weary and very restless,
His supporters they wonder and are just left to guess.
With the Billions and Billions of dollars he spent
They all wonder why he is not yet paying their rent.
He tries and he tries to blame all things on Bush
But even as Senator he made a big push.
To spend billions of dollars and for what you may ask?
Why to bail out the banks that Congress made crash!
So here he now sits, his brow in his hands
And longing for cheers seeking adoring fans.
So far and away do those days oh so seem
The messiah he falters - coming apart at the seams.
