Today is the first birthday of my youngest grandson, Cortez. He is my daughter's son. My other grandson is Ezekiel, my son's son, and he is two years of age.
About half of the family is due to come over to celebrate Cortez' birthday. We have a pinata, chicken, jambalaya, carne asada, rice, cheese potatoes, fruit salad, bacon-green beans, and more.
Cortez is not sure what to think about all this, and the twenty five people (or so)that are showing up has him all smiles, yet clinging to Grandma and Grandpa.
