I often find myself shaking my head, not understanding why there are so many people out there that just don't get it. They are so caught up with what is on the surface, that they don't see the big picture. They are quick to believe those that are lying to them, even when the truth is so obvious that a six year old recognizes it. They are so intent on latching on to something idiotic that they let the future slip through their fingers. The world is full of evil, and containing that evil includes making hard choices. Who cares about driving a Prius to save the planet from mythical man-made global warming, when evil is poised to destroy the society we currently enjoy?
I remember when the "Free Tibet" craze was at its wildest. Everyone wanted to free Tibet from the clutches of the Communist Chinese. And I agree, to a point. Freedom is a wonderful thing, and if Tibet wants to be free, then they should have their freedom. But at what price?
The liberals that were shouting "Free Tibet" would have been the same people protesting any military involvement with the process needed to free Tibet in the first place. And have these people considered that once Tibet was free from the clutches of the evil communists in China, that they would then be exposed to a rapidly advancing Muslim Empire that would have walked over the Tibetan pacifists with ease, unless of course the Americans, or somebody else, provided troops to protect the monks in the mountains?
Forcing one evil to retract sometimes opens up for another evil to expand. But when we work to stop the expansion of evil, we are called the evil ones, and so "imperialistic America" retracts, so that the evil can expand without us standing in the way.
So, ultimately, the statement should not be "free Tibet." The real problem solver ought to be, how do we eliminate the expanding evil around Tibet so that they can become free on their own accord?
Such is the root of the problem. All of the good intentions, and peace treaties, in the world does not stop the expansion of evil. It only slows it down a little, for the time being, only to allow the evil to regroup, fester and grow within its confines, and then explode into a massive orgy of evil across the face of the planet.
Well, so much for appeasement.
While we are bickering over corrupt politicians, too much sugar in our diet, and whether or not fast-food restaurants should be allowed to offer toys in their fat-filled kids meals, Islam is breeding. While we are treating everyone equally as possible terrorists, except for Muslims, at the airports, the Islamists around the world is laughing at our unwillingness to recognize the enemy for who it is. While our debate over the changing climate has led us to demand that big rigs also follow the same smog rules as everyone else (which in turn will destroy the little guy, and empower large corporations), the changing climate in the Middle East is becoming one that hates everything about us, whether we are liberal, conservative, or a bunch of middle-of-the-road dummies who are too afraid to take a position. While we convict a politician for funneling money to help his party, Islam is funneling billions of dollars in oil money to fund radical schools and mosques throughout the Middle East, North Africa, and even in non-Muslim parts of the world - so that it may be easier to spread their hate and violence. We are worried about Russia's nuclear weapons, and our own, being a danger to the world, so with a treaty the President is trying to START a nuclear reduction, as North Korea throws missiles at South Korea, and Iran says she plans to share her nuclear technology with the rest of the Muslim wackos in the Middle East. We give aid to our enemies in the Middle East, the leaders of those Muslim countries use our aid to build more machines for war while starving their own population, and then Israel gets blamed for the increase in the number of hungry Muslims. And while all of this is happening, we are having less babies, murdering millions of unborn children through abortion, and are toasting our civilized societal triumphs for refusing to make enough babies to replace our aging work force as Islam is breeding like rabbits and is expanding into every nook and cranny around the world.
Meanwhile, Europe if failing under decades of liberalism, and we are trying to change our system to mimic theirs.
Talk about softening ourselves up for the expanding evil around us.
North Korea and China are minor glitches compared to the advancing evil empire of Islam. Laws and customs are being rearranged to accommodate the invaders, and then everyone complains when the Muslims start making trouble. America is being slowly downsized by Obama and the Democrats because they are upset about the unfairness of America's exceptionalism. They wish us to be a weaker power so that the rest of the world will like us, but by removing our power of good, evil will expand into those crevices we leave behind. The strength of our enemy is patience. They are simply breeding as we destroy ourselves from within, and then they expand where openings appear, sometimes forcing their way in just to make sure there is no stone left unturned, or unthrown.
It is a paradox, really. America, with its prosperity, produces everything that evil needs to survive. We feed the world, we manufacture goods, we make weapons. They want to destroy us, but produce practically nothing on their own except terror. They can't even manage their own wealth. Yet, they desire world conquest, and are convinced that once the world is fully Muslim, Islam will truly then be the Religion of Peace, though there will be nobody left to make the things they need to prosper as an empire.
And they are willing to seize it all with a few nuclear weapons, if necessary.
A new Dark Age is on the horizon if we do not stop the spread of Islamism, yet people in Europe are rioting because their government is threatening to raise college rates, raise the age of retirement, or reducing the amount of entitlements they offer because they can't manage their money.
Islam uses seventh century logic, with seventh century barbarism, so that it might spread its evil through a twenty-first century world. And we are bending over backwards to allow them to do it. What do we think will happen after we step aside out of tolerance, and allow Islam to take their place in the seat of power? Will they set up a little corner of the world for us to reside in?
I am told that it is okay, because only ten percent of Muslims are Jihadists. Most of them are moderate, I am told. Though I do not believe that conclusion, one must ask, out of a religion of billions of people, how many of them have to be crazy to make it a problem? And what good is it if most are moderate if they are not willing to do anything about the radicals?
Islam has the greatest weapon of all. Patience. They have let us reduce our numbers through population control as they have made babies like it is going out of style. It's a numbers game, really. Once there is more of them, they will be in a perfect position to force conversion, or death. And if you don't like their ancient hatred, and they don't kill you, they will be perfectly happy to make you a slave with no rights.
Iran's president has threatened to wipe Israel off the map, and we have assured ourselves he would never be willing to do so. But what if he does? Then who's next?
Must we let evil expand to the point of crushing our society before we take up arms? Because, by then, it will be too late. They will outnumber us, and under the corrupt hand of liberalism, we will be too weak to defend ourselves.
The hard choices are terrible, but the alternative down the road is extinction.
Remember, the worst of the Muslims believe in the Twelfth Imam, and that it is their duty to create a path for his arrival. That path? Utter destruction, utter chaos, and nukes at the ready to take out you and I.
Evil Expands - the only way to peace is to reverse its expansion through strength and resolve.
When it comes to the world of nations and ideologies, the idea of "survival of the fittest" turns out to be true. Unfortunately, we have no allies in Liberalism. Liberals make decisions based on what they think the world should be, not the reality of what the world is.
