in bankruptcy detroit talks zimmerman

Bankrupt Detroit council busy pushing DOJ to probe Zimmerman

With absolutely nothing better to do these days,Detroit’s City Council members unanimously passed a resolution Tuesday supporting theDepartment of Justice’s civil rights investigation into George Zimmerman.Apparently, these bored-to-tears council members with nothing to do and no money to run their bankrupt city needed to find an issue –even one in another state – to insert themselves in, and decided a federal investigation into whether Zimmerman violated Trayvon Martin’s civil rights waste the way to go.Thankfully, Councilman Kenneth Cockrel, Jr. reminded his colleagues of the pretty horrific black-on-black crime rate right there in its own backyard.“We need to have that same level of outrage with respect to the black-on-black crime that takes place in our community,” Cockrel said, according to the Detroit Free Press. “How many people were shot — maybe even shot and killed this past weekend in the city — mostly likely by folks who look just like them?”This is so ludicrous there is nothing more to say except, rest in peace, Detroit.

More from Detroit Free Press.

What is it lately about government agencies that they seems to want to meddle in other business and they can't even take care of what they have? A city like Detroit, I am sure, have enough problems to keep them busy, or could I be wrong in that they must have enough jobs to go around, no homeless, no teens out of work, no social problems at all?

It appears to me there was a trial and they outcome of that trial was no guilty. The outcome may not be right in some people's eyes but that is the way the system works. Time to move on.

However, our wonderful President has help to encourage this push of the "Zimmerman" case to divide our country and to encourage racial differences. After all, you don't want a crisis to go to waste, right?
