CNN's Kyung Lah reports on the FBI's nationwide manhunt for a California man accused of having explosives in his home.
Friends and neighbors say this is not like him.
Eh, maybe this is legit, maybe it isn't. T'would be nice if the FBI would be a little bit more specific about these alleged "explosives". Otherwise it would seem to me that the real reason they're launching a "nationwide manhunt" for Ryan Kelly Chamberlain II is just as likely because he's white as any alleged threat he poses. And since they have yet to mention any, well....
Here's my question: On what probable cause grounds did the feds raid his San Francisco apartment? Why did they target him? Particularly when everybody who knows him says he's anything but an aspiring Timothy McVeigh? Once again we have a fait accompli declaration from the feds about an American citizen with way too many unanswered questions that we're required to just "trust them" and take on faith. Which is precisely why we should not do so.
