After a regular dose of earthquakes, and a deadly eruption of Mount Ontake that killed 50 people last September, Mount Aso has erupted in Japan. The volcano is located in southern Japan and this is the first eruption of one of the largest volcanoes in the world in 22 years. The flowing magma, smoke, and plumes of ash caused flight cancellations, and warnings against anyone approaching the mountain. There is no expectation the eruption will worsen, according to officials.
