We learned little more than what we already know about the candidates during the New Hampshire Forum, which aired on CSPAN. Rick Perry picked up where he left off four years ago with his stumbles (though minor this time), despite a pretty strong message. Jindal showed how sharp he is, but lacks a fire in the belly voters are looking for (though his "at least Bernie Sanders is honest enough to call himself a socialist" quip was great). Kasich was unappealing, and willing to give in too much to the illegal aliens in our country. Scott Walker was technical, and well spoken, and might I say, quite "Reaganesque". Carly Fiorina was a spitball of fire that everyone loves, hammering Hillary Clinton as we would expect her to, but nobody will vote for Carly when it comes to ballot time. Ben Carson was charming, clear, and not afraid to say what needs to be said, especially when it came to Obamacare. Ted Cruz fired away at both democrats and republicans, pulling no punches, and widening the target on his chest for the media's verbal snipers. Christie was, well, large and in charge, saying things that were both fairly sensible, and infested with establishment thinking. Jeb Bush stumbled more than Rick Perry, especially when it came to questions about the family. . . and revealed himself to be the establishment republican everyone knows he is. . . the only reason he's even doing well in the numbers game is name recognition among the less informed voters. Lindsey Graham reminded us that he is great on National Security, and worthless on pretty much every other issue. Rand Paul was as conservative as can be, and Rubio was as fiery, yet not as fully honest, as could be. Pataki didn't finish what he was saying, and won't finish the race by the time the primary rolls around. Rick Santorum was clear, concise, and damn good. . . too bad his chances range from nil to none. Oh, and Trump found himself. . . absent.
