Thousands of Germans have taken to the streets in Berlin to show their dissatisfaction with Prime Minister Angela Merkel's policies of importing Muslim Migrants. Her "open-door" immigration policy, according to the crowds, has led to continuous terror attacks and more than a dozen dead Germans in the last week alone - and they want her resignation as a result.
Resignation? The whole German leadership should be ashamed of itself for placing its citizens in this kind of danger. The problem, however, is progressivism. The progressive liberal left has gone mad, literally importing the enemy. Islam has declared war on The West. The only way to preserve Western values is to deny the barbarians access to our regions.

The more than 5,000 protesters recognize the migration as being an invasion, holding signs up during their rally showing Merkel with blood on her hands. A large swath of the German public blames Merkel for the four brutal attacks during the last week, three of which were committed by Muslim refugees - all of them by Muslims. Merkel, however, defended her policy, though police remain on high alert following the attacks. Merkel said, in defense of her policies, "we can do it," as she pledged not to let the violent acts guide political decisions.
Horst Seehofer, who had been an important party ally up to this point, is now challenging Merkel. He's the premier of Bavaria, and said he did not share Merkel's "we can do it" credo on accommodating the almost 1.1 million migrants and refugees who arrived in 2015.
Seehofer, who leads the Christian Social Union, the sister party to Merkel's conservative Christian Democrats, said today, "'We can do this' - I cannot, with the best will, adopt this phrase as my own." He said that the solutions to date were "too inadequate."
Stressing he had no wish to start a quarrel with Merkel's party, Seehofer said it was important to look "reality" in the face.
The attacks over the last week has included an axe rampage, a shooting spree, a knife attack and a suicide bombing, including 13 people dead, including three assailants, and dozens wounded. Three of the four attackers were asylum seekers, and two of the assaults were claimed by the Islamic State group. A spate of sexual assaults on women in Cologne at New Year was blamed on the migrant influx, as well.
The phrase "Merkel must go" has been trending on social media.
A new survey found that 83 percent of Germans see immigration as their nation's biggest challenge - twice as many as a year ago.
Merkel said that she would not allow jihadists to keep her government from being guided by reason and compassion. "Despite the great unease these events inspire, fear can't be the guide for political decisions," she said.

Fear? As Ben Carson has said, "If you had a bowl of M&Ms with three poisoned ones in the bowl, would you eat any of the M&Ms?"
"'It is my deep conviction that we cannot let our way of life be destroyed," she added. If she keeps up the open-door policies, the German way of life will be destroyed because Germany will become a Muslim country.
After the Bavaria attacks, Seehofer initially called into question the principle that asylum seekers should never be sent back to war zones. He later backtracked, citing international law. Send them back. They are not war zones. They are Muslim countries. That kind of violence follows Islam wherever it goes.
Seehofer insisted previously, "We must seriously consider how such people should be treated if they violate the law or can be considered a danger."
Rather than address the cause, which is Islamism, Merkel has vowed to chase the symptoms. She announced new security measures including an "early warning system" to detect radicalization among refugees. How do you do that? Do you put a buzzer on them that starts screaming when steam starts coming out of their ears? Here thinking is not even remotely close to reality. How can you tell a Muslim is radical? Are they reading the Koran? How many of these "radicalized" Muslims seemed just fine prior to their attacks?

She also promised better training for the military to respond to attacks and quicker deportation of failed asylum seekers.
Mohammed Daleel, the Ansbach suicide bomber, was able to stay in Germany despite his asylum application being rejected and twice being ordered to be deported. And, he seemed to be just fine prior to his attacks.

Merkel repeated her conviction that the country had a duty to help people fleeing war and persecution, adding: "I am still convinced that we can do it – it is our historic duty and this is a historic challenge."
Historic? She's afraid of Germany's Nazi history, and fearful that if they try to protect their national identity it will look Nazi-like. Has she not noticed the similarity Islam has with Nazism? She's allowing the Nazis to immigrate into the country in the name of compassion. She's allowing the Nazis to invade her country, and change the face of her country, and she can't even see it.
Of course, Germany is not the only European country having problems with Islamic refugees. France has been inundated, and has the terror attacks to show for it, and remain on high alert as a result. In Britain, almost 900 Syrians living in the U.K. were arrested last year for things like rape and child molestation.
