The Rise of a Socialist America

"The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism, but under the name of liberalism they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program until one day America will be a socialist nation without ever knowing how it happened."

– Norman Thomas, American socialist, 1948

Americans did not worry about Norman Thomas' statement when he first uttered these words. The likelihood that the United States of America, the nation of liberty, would fall victim to the wiles of Socialism, seemed impossible. And when Ronald Reagan captured the presidency as the 1980's opened, the liberal attempt at gaining full power seemed to be defeated for good. The platform of Conservatism had produced landslide elections, created a prosperous economy after the economic darkness of the 70's, and reminded the world that America is the strength of the world and that peace comes through that strength.

When Bill Clinton threatened to damage the growth of this country economically, Conservative Republicans gained control of Congress, balanced the budget, and a new economic prosperity emerged. After using the veto pen twice against it, Clinton was even convinced to sign legislation that reformed welfare.

Then George W. Bush gained the presidency. Like his father, he claimed to be a Conservative, though he did not embrace all of the Conservative ideals, and leans towards a globalist agenda. Nonetheless, he proved to be the right man in office when September 11, 2001 came, and the two World Trade Center Towers fell. We went to war. Our economy remained vibrant. The country rose from the tragedy united, and strong.

The liberals, however, after facing defeat so many times in recent history, decided it was time to derail the Republicans. They knew that Conservatives were dissatisfied with some of Dubya's presidential decisions, and they knew that their base was angry about the invasion of Iraq along with the time it was taking to resolve it. Using this knowledge, the liberals launched a campaign not unlike the campaign against the Vietnam Conflict in the late sixties and early seventies. The decision to go to war was attacked, the existence of Weapons of Mass Destruction was challenged, the details of the handling of the conflict questioned, and the president demonized. By the time the campaign season for the coming 2008 Election arrived, the liberal left had stirred their base into rabid anger, and with their continuous accusations (whether fact based or not) against the Bush Administration, they planted seeds of doubt in the Republicans.

Enter, stage left, Barack Obama, a charismatic speaker that gained electrical popularity when he gave an inspiring speech at the Democratic Convention in 2004. His inexperience made him perfect. The Democratic Party could mold his image without the setbacks of past inconsistencies. They could, through him, present Socialism as simply being fair, and a much needed change. He could preach "change" without ever explaining that his change was truly a power grab by Washington to seize control of the economy through nationalized health care, and by centralizing other programs. The mainstream press, as they did with Carter and Clinton, blessed Obama with their magic septor and are making sure the scrutiny is applied to his opponents more so than to him. They have looked the other way when Obama proposed taking Lyndon Johnson's failed war on poverty international in the form of the Global Poverty Act. He preaches the failures of capitalism to thousands, despite the contrary facts of capitalism's success compared to the climactic failures of socialism around the world.

And Barack Obama has somehow reached a spiritual level, even being christened as a "Light Worker" by the New Age crowd. He has become Messianic, the savior of a nation on the verge of calamity - despite the fact that such calamity is an exaggeration.

This Tuesday is more than a presidential election. This Tuesday is a choice between Capitalism and Socialism. Smaller government, and a strong central government with the power to take away your freedoms in ways you can't even fathom. Under the guise of liberalism, Socialism has arrived, and it is up to you to defeat it.

America is becoming a socialist nation without the people of the United States even realizing it - and it is being ushered in under the guise of "Hope" and "Change."

Obama Phenomenon: Rise of An American Marxist Narcissist

The Case of the Dropping Income Ceiling

First, Obama and the Democrats were saying that only those making more than $250,000 were going to be hammered with taxes, then it dropped to $200,000, then $150,000. Now, Bill Richardson says $120,000. . .

Eventually, the truth will come out, and they will announce higher taxes for all!

In The Interest of Following Barack Obama's Plans. . .

(Author Unknown)

Notice to All Employees

As of November 5, 2008, when President Obama is officially elected into
office, our company will instill a few new policies which are in keeping
with his new, inspiring issues of change and fairness:

1. All salespeople will be pooling their sales and bonuses into a common
pool that will be divided equally between all of you. This will serve to
give those of you who are underachieving a “fair shake.”

2. All low level workers will be pooling their wages, including overtime,
into a common pool, dividing it equally amongst yourselves.
This will help those who are “too busy for overtime” to reap the rewards
from those who have more spare time and can work extra hours.

3. All top management will now be referred to as “the government.”
We will not participate in this “pooling” experience because the law doesn’t
apply to us.

4. The “government” will give eloquent speeches to all employees every week,
encouraging it’s workers to continue to work hard “for the good of all.”

5. The employees will be thrilled with these new policies because it’s “good
to spread the wealth.” Those of you who have underachieved will finally get
an opportunity; those of you who have worked hard and had success will feel
more “patriotic.”

6. The last few people who were hired should clean out their desks.

Don’t feel bad, though, because President Obama will give you free
healthcare, free handouts, free oil for heating your home, free foodstamps,
and he’ll let you stay in your home for as long as you want even if you can’t
pay your mortgage. If you appeal directly to our democratic congress, you
might even get a free flatscreen TV and a coupon for free haircuts (shouldn’t
all Americans be entitled to nice looking hair?) !!!

If for any reason you are not happy with the new policies, you may want to
rethink your vote on November 4th

Obama, from bad to worse

Barack Obama sort of reminds me of a good novel. The key to a good plot is conflict. A good story places a character into a severe conflict, and then it gets worse - and about the time you think it can't get any worse for the main character, it gets even worse.

Barack Obama is the most liberal Democrat out there, but he is proclaiming non-liberal tactics to gain the presidency. He is either not a good liberal, or a very good liar.

Have you ever seen a Democrat that cuts taxes?

Bill Clinton said he was going to cut taxes - turned out he was lying.

Obama says he is going to cut taxes for 95% of Americans (who make under $250,000 - errr, uhh, under $200,000, errr uhh, under $150,000 - jeez, they can't even get their numbers straight!), right after he lets the Bush Tax Cuts expire, which will raise taxes, and he is going to do all of this for 95% of Americans despite the fact that 32% don't even pay taxes, and all the while find a way to pay for his trillion dollar spending plan that dwarfs any other presidential plan in history by taxing to oblivion the remaining 5% of Americans.

If that doesn't confuse you, and convince you that he is a liar, then I don't know what will.

And like a good novel, if he gets elected, it will get much, much worse. . . And about the time you think he can't make it any worse for America, he will make it even worse!

Capitalism Is Not Granted By The Government

Capitalism is as natural to being human as is the desire to strive. When the first civilizations began to form, it was capitalism that arose in the free systems. Once the ruling system, however, begins to manipulate the economic system, it is no longer pure capitalism. It becomes something else.

Capitalism is a social system based on the principle of individual rights. Capitalism is the only moral political system because it is the only system dedicated to the protection of rights, which is a requirement for human survival and flourishing. This is the only proper role of a government. Capitalism should be defended vigorously on a moral basis, not an economic or utilitarian basis.

When government begins to seize, or confiscate, property rights and the spoils of success, the system is no longer one of capitalism. The system becomes government controlled, and the freedoms that go with it are diminished. Socialism attempts to present an element of "fairness" into the system, "Spreading the Wealth," one might say. But to exist, socialism must suppress capitalism. And to suppress capitalism is to suppress freedom, and individual rights.

To bring this about, those that desire Socialism must bring about a change to the fundamental system, using "hope" to package it in a way that the people will accept it. In this way, the purveyors of this new system will change the American social and economic order in a planned system, directed by a central government elite.

Government regulation is an essential element of socialism. A strong, central government must be brought into place that manages currency, controls output and prices, regulates industrial output, regulates wages (living wage?), steeply graduates income tax rates to control and stifle success, increases welfare-state benefits, and controls education so as to ensure the coming generation is taught to accept and depend on such a system.

Sound familiar?

Capitalism needs none of the above. In fact, government interference damages a capitalistic system. The controlling factor of Capitalism is the people who participate in it. If an element of the system becomes too controlling, or too pricey, the consumer stops purchasing from that element, and new competitors arise as a result. The free market is self-adjusting, self-regulating, and a true example of freedom.

Capitalism uses the natural human tendency to strive, to compete with the "Jones's," to become the cream of the crop. A natural by-product of Capitalism is failure. The individual, faced with such a failure, in a Capitalist System, then is tasked to try again (If at first you don't succeed, try, try again).

What Barack Obama is proposing economically is designed to stifle Capitalism, and to introduce Socialism into America in ways that even rivals the "hammer and sickle" New Deal that Franklin Delano Roosevelt fathered. Under a Barack Obama presidency, should he be elected, success will have a ceiling ($250 thousand? $200 thousand? $150 thousand?). As for his proposed tax cuts, does anybody really believe that a Democrat will lower taxes as they increase spending? Did Bill Clinton lower taxes as he said he would? Of course not. It isn't in a Democrat's nature to cut taxes (no matter how many times they promise it). To do so would relinquish some of government's control over the citizen, and that is hardly a tendency of Democrats.

The Democrats are upset that the word "Socialism" is being thrown around when describing the Obama campaign. They aren't truly upset because it isn't true - they are bothered by it because it exposes their true intent. That's why they don't like Joe the Plumber. He exposed Obama's hand with a simple question.

Spread the Wealth? Just another way of saying, "Confiscation of success, and a redistribution of such confiscated funds."

It is the Christian thing to do to help the needy and the poor voluntarily through charitable organizations that offer a "hand up." It is downright sinister to try to achieve the same results by forcing citizens to give up their freedoms and success so that it may be confiscated by the government and then distributed as the government sees fit. Such actions does not eliminate the classes, or make things fair. All it does is give more power to the ruling class.

Success is not granted by the government. That is something we achieve individually. Success is achieved by the individual in a capitalistic system, without government interference. Anything else is not capitalism, freedom, liberty, or the American Way.

Wise Words that apply to today's political situation:

Below are ten quotes that have been floating around the internet as being quotes from Abraham Lincoln about the poor, the weak, prosperity, workers, class hatred, and character.

The Truth is these quotes were never uttered by Mr. Lincoln. The quotes were published in 1942 by William J. H. Boetcker, a Presbyterian minister, in a pamphlet titled Lincoln On Limitations, which did include a Lincoln quote, but also added these 10 statements written by Boetcker himself. Nonetheless, regardless of who wrote them, or said them, they are quite accurate.

The quotes were:

1. You cannot bring about prosperity by discouraging thrift.

2. You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong

3. You cannot help the poor man by destroying the rich.

4. You cannot further the brotherhood of man by inciting class hatred.

5. You cannot build character and courage by taking away man's initiative and independence.

6. You cannot help small men by tearing down big men.

7. You cannot lift the wage earner by pulling down the wage payer.

8. You cannot keep out of trouble by spending more than your income.

9. You cannot establish security on borrowed money.

10. You cannot help men permanently by doing for them what they will not do for themselves.

Obama The Marxist - Or Was His "Spread The Wealth" Comment Misunderstood?

For everyone that thought Obama was taken out of context, listen very closely. In a 2001 Chicago Public Radio Interview Obama is discussing the best way to bring about a Redistribution of Wealth.

I Voted For Tom McClintock

In 2003 when the California Recall Election put Arnold Schwarzenegger into the Governor's mansion in California in the place of the ultra-left liberal Gray Davis, I voted for Tom McClintock. McClintock finished third in the overall vote.

Tom McClintock appealed to me because he is a Conservative . . . A True Conservative.

Now, McClintock is running for Congress in the 4th District, which is located in the Northeastern part of California, north of Lake Tahoe. His race, like most of the Congressional Races, is critical in this election. If Obama somehow pulls off this election, and does it with a Democratic Majority Congress, the damage they could cause this great nation would take generations to resolve.

Here is Tom McClintock's views on some of the issues we face:

McClintock believes in bringing fiscal sanity back to the federal government. The fiscal problems are primarily due to wasteful and mismanaged spending by both parties, and the increased size of government. McClintock believes that we must reduce the size of government and increase its efficiency while limiting federal spending and cutting out the waste and mismanagement.

Tom McClintock believes we must secure our borders and enforce our immigration laws. Completing the border fence along our southern border will dramatically stem the tide of illegal immigration in this country. The federal government needs to take the extraordinary step of enforcing all of our current immigration laws, not create new immigration laws which will simply be ignored.

McClintock wants to encourage proper management of our federal forests and lands needs so that unnecessary wildfires will cease. The Angora fire in 2007 proved that an overbearing federal bureaucracy will put your property and lives in danger. Reducing the bureaucracy and returning management of federal lands to the local communities will prove the situation dramatically.

McClintock believes in a strong National Defense, and that we need to fully fund our nation’s military in order to protect our nation from any threat in the world. Reagan’s idea of “peace through strength” is an idea we need to return to.

Tom McClintock agrees with the Founding Fathers of this nation that local government is better suited to deal with local issues. Recognizing this, he is for returning local control to our children’s education. Returning control and decision making power to our local communities and families regarding our children’s education is crucial in making our education system work again. It is not the federal government’s role to force every school district into a predetermined one-size fits all formula.

Tom is a tax-cutter, and understands the economics behind reducing taxes. Reducing the burden of taxes on our families and businesses is the way to spur growth in our economy. We need to make permanent the Bush tax cuts of 2003 so that our families and businesses are not faced with the prospect of a tax increase in the near future. We need to restore the freedom to our businesses to grow and expand their own companies; a strong economy is built on freedom

Go to Tom McClintock's site and read more about him - and while you are there, donate to his campaign. We need his Conservative Voice in Washington!

Sunday Night PPR

The Liberal Mindset. It is interesting how much the Liberal Left proclaims it is progressing toward perfection, that they are somehow more moral and tolerant than everyone else, yet spew such hatred and discontent. I have family members that are hard-left liberal that have actually decided to stop talking to me because I am (in their words) clueless, attributing to the demise of our country, ignorant, a hilarious failure, lose when a bull-shit indicator is applied, a useful idiot, a waste of energy, a part of the shadow of disgusting and immoral Bush Politics, irresponsible, unintelligent, and the cause of tragedy in this world.

How lovely. Note that none of the Conservatives, or non-liberals, in the family play these kinds of games.

I receive e-mails constantly as well from liberals out there that spew the same kind of crap. I receive hateful comments from a dozen or so Political Pistachio readers that call me everything from liar to religious zealot.

And these are the folks that call themselves tolerant and loving.

Meanwhile, Joe Biden says a lot of things, but listen carefully and you will see that whenever he opens his mouth, the truth seems to fail to fill his language. . .

Proposition 8 is causing a lot of theft, vandalism, hate and discontent in California, and that is by the folks that support Gay Marriage and are against the Proposition.

When talking about the far left liberals, listen carefully, the deception is evident - and they don't even realize it. Rather than allowing God to reach out to them, they are too busy trying to elevate humanity to a godlike level - with Hope and Change and flowers and unicorns and . . .

Founding Truth and Political Pistachio Radio Tonight!

On Founding Truth at 5pm Pacific/8pm Eastern:

Governor Palin told a class of 3rd Graders tht as Vice President one of her jobs will be to be in charge of the U.S. Senate. . . Was she correct? Or does the United States Constitution say otherwise?

Does Proposition 8 in California, the move for making it a state constitutional amendment that marriage is between a man and a woman, violate the Equal Protection Rights given to citizens under the United States Constitution?

What does "Promote the General Welfare" truly mean? Does it mean that government should take care of the citizens with social programs?

Hawaii's Universal Health Care plan for kids, a voluntary plan, failed in 7 months - and is eerily similar to what Obama is proposing for the entire country! Evidence that his plan is doomed to fail? Why did Hawaii's plan fail? What did it teach us about human nature? Is government paid medical insurance Constitutional?

States Rights - What does the Constitution say? Do Libertarians go too far?

On Political Pistachio Radio tonight at 7pm Pacific/10pm Eastern:

Did Obama's ad saying that John McCain is calling for eliminating Medicare and Social Security a lie?

Economic Nitty Gritty - Who's fault is it that the economy has stumbled? Why? What is the root of the problem? Did deregulation play a role?

The Courts - tonight's "On The Road Rant" is about The Courts, how the judges have overstepped their bounds, and how the people are losing their voice as activist judges poise to render the legislative branch powerless.

The Barack Obama Birth Certificate Lawsuit was thrown out! Why? Should a candidate for President of the United States provide proof that he or she is eligible for office? What does Philip J. Berg have to say?

Taxes - How the Middle Class is screwed if Obama wins the election!

Joe Biden's International Crisis Will Test Barack Obama

Last Sunday Night Joe Biden said, "Mark my words, it will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy. The world is looking. We’re about to elect a brilliant 47-year-old senator president of the United States of America. Remember I said it standing here . . . we’re gonna have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy."

In other words, Obama is weak and the world knows it and the evil of the world is ready to test his willingness to fight back.

I would rather have a president, like McCain, that believes in "Peace Through Strength." Strength stands a better chance in not being tested than does weakness.

Who Lives More Lavishly? Obama? Or McCain?

Recently, a particular liberal asked me this in an e-mail:

Doug... who would you guess spends more for luxury living - Michelle Obama for one lobster dinner, or John McCain, with SEVEN houses?

I understand why he asked. Conservatives have been making a big deal about Obama and Michelle's luxury living while claiming they are for the little guy, and wants to punish the rich with higher taxes.

But in the end, my response was, Who Cares?

Specifically, this is my e-mail response to that question:

When did I ever accuse anyone of being this or that due to luxury living? Besides, I have two homes, and I hardly live luxuriously. Besides, who cares? They succeeded, they are entitled to their lobster dinners and many homes. It is called success, and I am glad I live in a country where success is an opportunity that anyone can pursue.

Project Promise

From the site:

Project Promise Soldier is a new non-profit dedicated to helping soldiers. The group is simple in mission and broad in scope. Project Promise recognizes that there is an unspoken promise we, as citizens, make to care for our veterans and their families. Project Promise’s mission is to be part of the network of organizations that care for our wounded soldiers; to give something back to those who serve and protect our country and our citizens and to keep that unspoken promise. You can read about how Project Promise came to be by checking out our About the Charity and our Origins pages.

The idea that we make a promise to care for our soldiers is something my mother taught me in every day little ways. Every year we went to Veteran’s and Memorial Day parades. We bought poppies. My mother would remind my sister and I, when we forgot, to thank soldiers for their service. For me, respect for and being grateful to, those that serve and protect our country is one of those lessons I carry with me and try to pass down to my children.

When I was given the opportunity to help out the founders of Project Promise, I jumped at it.

Over the next few weeks we’ll be asking folks to submit essays and posts, link to us, drive traffic to our site and to donate to Project Promise. But for now, I just wanted to say, “Welcome.”

Longtime Republican Colin Powell Endorses Barack Obama

Colin Powell announced his endorsement of Barack Obama on Meet The Press on Sunday, October 19, 2008. Some say that Powell was trying to be more pragmatic, but it has long been known that Colin Powell is a very moderate Republican.

Powell has long been a respected figure in the Republican Party, but due to his moderate nature, and rumors that have been swirling around for months, his endorsement of Obama is not a surprise to many.

I respect Colin Powell. He is a capable speaker, an intelligent politician, and a man of honor. I respect his choice, though I disagree with it, and feel that with this choice he has made a grievous error in judgement.

I don't believe that Powell's decision to endorse Barack Obama is a poor one because McCain is an exceptional candidate, because he is not. I believe that Powell's decision to endorse Obama is a poor decision because Obama is such an exceptionally bad candidate.

All of the questions regarding Obama's character, honesty, and integrity aside, Obama's positions are hardly ones you'd think Powell would be on board with. Colin Powell is pro-choice, and is quite moderate on many of the social issues, but just the fact that Obama's entire platform was launched on "I was against the war from the beginning" while Powell was an instrumental part in determining that there were weapons of mass destruction and that the invasion of Iraq was necessary, creates an aura of confusion around Powell's decision to endorse Obama.

Rush Limbaugh declared today that the decision is all about race. That may have perhaps played a role, but I am taking Powell's word to be true when he said that the pick of Sarah Palin is what affected his choice.

Bill Handel, a local Los Angeles radio host on KFI radio, says that the only reason he is voting for Obama is because of Sarah Palin as well. Had McCain picked someone like Liebermann, then Handel says he'd be voting for McCain.

Specifically, Handel said that Sarah Palin scares him because she is a "far rightwing nut who wants to reverse Roe v. Wade, and believes dinosaurs roamed the Earth six thousand years ago."

Roe v. Wade cannot be "reversed," because the Federal Government legalizing abortion is unconstitutional in the first place. Roe v. Wade should be "eliminated," and the issue then needs to go to the states. It is a state issue, not a Federal issue.

But that aside, the fact that Palin is an Evangelical Christian is what is making these people nervous, as if putting a Christian in the White House will suddenly turn the United States of America into a theocracy, or something.

Are you kidding me? Are moderates and liberals that stupid? There has been a heavy Christian influence in this nation for 230 years, and it is hardly a theocracy, yet some little governor of Alaska is capable of making the nation swing in that direction?

My favorite argument, though, is when the liberal left proclaims that Palin's religious beliefs are fringe, and that "her brand of Christianity" is outside the mainstream. Evangelicals represent the largest Christian block outside of the Catholic Church in the U.S., and the belief system taught agrees with almost all of the non-Catholic and Protestant religions when considering the basic biblical message. How is that fringe? How is that outside the mainstream?

Lastly, it amazes me that there is so much grief about Sarah Palin's lack of experience, and her religious views, when Obama, who is at the top of the ticket, has less experience than Palin, and followed for twenty years a fringe religious doctrine, Black Liberation Theology. Why is it that he gets a pass (and remember, he's at the top of the Democratic Ticket), and Sarah Palin is under much more scrutiny?

Perhaps Colin Powell's decision, like a large number of Americans, was strongly affected by the lopsided reporting of the mainstream media.

I am a Conservative . . .

I am a Conservative, rather than a Republican, because I believe that innocent lives should be saved, and guilty, murderous lives should be removed from society; I am a Conservative because war is horrid - but has been necessary to create America, end slavery, and stop genocide; I am a Conservative because success should be congratulated, not punished with Marxist redistribution of wealth; I am a Conservative because I understand that the criminal element prefers their victims to be unarmed, and I refuse to be one of those victims; I am a Conservative because I believe the founding fathers knew what they were doing when they created this nation, and like them I am willing to do whatever it takes to preserve liberty; I am a Conservative because I believe we should be good stewards of our environment, but not to the point of extremism such as is exhibited by today's radical eco-terrorists and environmental movement; I am a Conservative because I believe Global Warming was once happening, but because of the natural cycles of the planet, not mankind, I am a Conservative because I believe that health care is an individual's responsibility and the creation of insurance companies in the first place is what ruined the system; I am a Conservative because I believe economies are dependent upon job creation and the movement of products, which is caused by profitable business, not government checks; I am a Conservative because I understand that lower taxes creates growth, and growth creates jobs, I am a Conservative because I recognize that a strong central government is prone to corruption, and has a tendency to be tyrannical; I am a Conservative because I believe my politics must reflect my morals, and my morals do not condone the murder of the unborn, the betrayal of the sanctity of marriage, nor the degradation of society into a Godless Marxist system; I am a Conservative because our unalienable rights have been given to us by the Creator, and no government has the right to take away those freedoms; And lastly, I am a Conservative because I believe we as a nation must return to the U.S. Constitution or our prosperity and exceptionalism as a nation will be at risk.

$3,000 Tax Credit From Obama if you hire an employee. . .

Obama has never run a business before. It is obvious that he has never run anything when he made the statement (a few times, now) that during his presidency he will give businesses a $3,000 tax credit for hiring a new full-time worker.

In addition to the wages, there is an astronomical cost of hiring an employee. The additional cost of full-time employees, including worker's comp, social security, health care, equipment, records, etc - - - is much more than $3,000 - - - and that is per year. Here in California that amount is often between $8,000 and $12,000 per employee, in addition to their wages.

It takes profit to hire employees. Problem is, Obama wants to take that profit and "share the wealth" by redistributing it to people who don't work. No employer in their right mind is going to hire an employee that costs them $8K to $12K just so they can receive a $3,000 tax credit.

Who in their right mind wants to stifle success and profit during an economic downturn? Shouldn't we be helping businesses be more successful so that more goods enter the market (which based on supply and demand will drop prices), and so that more jobs are created?

Obama, you want to give small businesses a tax break? Then lower the taxes. Help their bottom line. Encourage profit and success.

Obama is all about raising taxes. He has to. His spending plan demands it. First, if elected, Obama will allow the Bush Tax Cuts to expire (Tax increase right off the bat!!!). Then, if you die and want to leave something to your posterity, his estate tax (death tax) will make it so that the legacy you wished to leave behind will have to be sold by your children so that they can pay the taxes on it. Of course, your retirement money won't help either. Obama's capital gains tax will eat up a large chunk of that. Then he plans to increase the taxes of the most successful corporations. To cover that cost the companies will then raise prices and let go of employees. Yeah, Barry, great idea during an economic downturn.

He says you grow an economy from the bottom up.

The bottom has nothing to offer. It is the top that creates jobs and moves products. Then, when that happens, the bottom can benefit from it with a job, and goods to buy.

Damn, Obama is one backwards son of a. . .

Obama's Tax Break For 95% of Americans

Question:

How is it that Obama can promise a tax break for 95% of Americans when a third of Americans don't pay income tax in the first place?

Oh, yeah, that would be Tax Credits (in other words, free money from the government taken from the wealthier of the nation - Translation: Wealth Re-distribution - better known as Marxism).

Obama's Socialist Past

When over the weekend Barack Obama told a Plumber that he plans to "spread the wealth around," the liberal media hardly took notice. The conservative media, however, picked up on it quick. Spreading the wealth around is the same as Redistribution of Wealth, and that, my friends, is Marxism.

This downplay of Obama's Socialist Plans by the mainstream media is nothing new. The mainstream media has downplayed Barack Obama's connection to former domestic terrorist Bill Ayers, has chosen not to report on Obama's past membership in The New Party (A Socialist Organization), Obama's connection to the radical leftist group ACORN (now being investigated for voter fraud in a number of states), his seedy history in far left Chicago politics, and of course his 96% Leftist voting record.

The mainstream media is so busy trying to examine the GOP ticket, and call anything said about the Obama Campaign "smear tactics," that they are failing to uncover Obama's past questionable connections (however, if Obama were a Republican, those connections would be all over the nightly news). In fact, when they are forced to finally come to terms that Obama's connections are real, they sweep it under the rug, including the connections Obama has with former Weather Underground terrorist Bill Ayers, contending that Ayers is a "rehabilitated" terrorist whose bombing of the Pentagon and the U.S. Capitol was merely a "youthful indiscretion." Ayers is hardly reformed, and remains involved in radical circles trying to socialize children into left-wing views as early as kindergarten.

The sooner Obama's socialist past is unearthed, the sooner the American People will understand what this radical has in store for our country should he be elected. Unfortunately, people are being shielded from the facts, and are instead being exposed to more often than not unreliable and untrue attacks against the McCain/Palin ticket.
