Barack Obama keeps reminding us that he inherited this economic crisis (that he alleges is the worst financial meltdown since The Great Depression), and then told us the best way to get out of debt and economic trouble of this magnitude is to triple the federal deficit. Sure, a whole slew of presidents before Obama went on spending sprees they shouldn't have. Sure, government seems to expand during the terms of each president (government even expanded, though much less than with his successors, during the presidency of Ronald Reagan). Obama, in fact, is simply doing what every other president has done (so much for that precious "Change" that Obama promised). The difference is, he is doing it bigger, badder, and more costly. Then, as he systematically destroys our economy, and dismantles the United States Constitution, he finds a way to pass the buck, blame someone else (usually Bush), and consult his teleprompter in case he gets the sudden urge to trip over his inability to form a congnizant sentence when left to his own devices.
After all, Obama inherited this crisis - Right?
