It turns out, as expected, the Supreme Court reversed the decision of the Second Circuit Court, exposing Sotomayor's racism, and unconstitutional actions.
The ruling was a narrow 5-4 vote. But, the Supreme Court ruled in favor of the White firefighters of New Haven, Connecticut, who sued the city for reverse discrimination.
The arguments stemmed from New Haven throwing out the Fire Department's promotional examination passed primarily by White candidates, but by no Blacks, and only two Hispanics.
The Court ruled for the plaintiffs, thus, rejecting New Haven's "race conscious" policies. Throwing out the test because no blacks or Hispanics performed well enough for promotion violated the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
As for Sotomayor, these opinions are in opposition to her opinion on the Second Circuit. This shows, once again, that Sotomayor's court decisions are based on race, rather than the rule of law, making her a less than wise nomination for the Supreme Court.
