FBI Investigation Of Hillary Emails "Definitely Criminal"

by JASmius

The FBI’s interest in [Mrs.] Clinton’s e-mail system comes after the intelligence community’s inspector general referred the issue to the Justice Department in July. Intelligence officials expressed concern that some sensitive information was not in the government’s possession and could be “compromised.” The referral did not accuse [Mrs.] Clinton of any wrongdoing, and the two officials said Tuesday that the FBI was not targeting her.

".....yet."  But the investigation is just beginning.  And I am frankly astonished that even that much is happening.

- Me, yesterday

If you were wondering how a federal law enforcement organization that doesn't conduct "civil" investigations could possibly be investigating Emailgate, which is "alleged" criminal activity by definition, the New York Post has come to remedy your momentary confusion:

The FBI has begun a criminal inquiry into Hillary Clinton's email account and her use of the private server and other devices during her four years as secretary of state, according to news reports.

"It’s definitely a criminal probe," a federal source told the New York Post on Wednesday. "I’m not sure why they’re not calling it a criminal probe."...

"In this case, a security violation would lead to criminal charges," the source told the Post. "Maybe DOJ is trying to protect her campaign."

If the Obama DOJ was trying to protect Mrs. Clinton's campaign, the FBI wouldn't have begun a criminal inquiry at all.  That was simply the shot that resumed the Clinton-Obama war, a conflict that amounts to a resistable force colliding with a moveable object.

Still, based upon the results of similar recent cases, and in case you were starting to foolishly get your hopes up, don't expect any jail time for the Old Harridan:

This doesn’t mean [Mrs.] Clinton could face time behind bars. [General and later CIA Director David] Petraeus was only given two years probation and a $100K fine, while Bill Clinton’s ex-National Security Adviser Sandy Berger got a $50K fine and two years probation.

And Petraeus was considered an enemy by the Obama Regime, only brought in as CIA Director as a 2012 campaign prop, and then jettisoned and politically destroyed via this "dirt" when O didn't need him anymore.  True, he hates the Clintons far more than he did General/Director Petraeus, but La Clinton Nostra has more than enough gas left in the tank to keep Her Nib out of the Greybar Hotel.

Just not enough to hoist her dead weight into the Oval Office.

And that is a far worse fate for Hillary than incarceration would EVER be.
