Joe Biden An "Inspirational Figure"?

by JASmius

No, really:

As talk swirls that Vice President Joe Biden is considering entering the Democrat race for president, a former party official says Biden may well represent their best hope.

"Biden can focus the voters on him and on what he proposes to do," former South Carolina Democrat Party Chairman Dick Harpootlian said Sunday on MSNBC's Up With Steve Kornacki.

Why not Stand Up Chuck?

"Joe Biden is an inspirational figure. He gives a great speech," Harpootlian said.

In case you wanted an update on how frantic Democrats are to escape the Hillary Trap, there it is: It's "inspiring" garish delusions about a man who never came close to the Democrat presidential nomination in the past for damn good reasons.  And is a man.  And is white.

If Slow Joe is the Dems' best hope, they may as well concede the 2016 election here and now.

Incidentally, the only "inspirational figure" about Joe Biden is the one that he enjoys deploying to blow in the wind:

Apparently Vice President Joe Biden, who is reportedly readying a campaign against Hillary Clinton for the White House, has even creepier habits than we previously thought.

According to Secret Service expert and best selling author Ronald Kessler, Biden likes to skinny dip in front of female Secret Service agents assigned to protect him. Naturally, they find this offensive.

"Talk about a war on women....."You know, they signed up to take a bullet for the President as you said but they didn't sign up to...they certainly didn't sign up to see Biden naked. It is offensive, it's abusive."

And, hence, the source of the Biden buzz: He's a creepy amalgam of LBJ (the origin of the slang term "Johnson") and Bill Clinton.  With a bad rug.  And when his dentures stay in his mouth.

But the thirty-sixth and forty-second POTUSs had three national election victories between them, and Clinton's sexual sociopathy was arguably a key factor in his election and re-election, judging by how his poll numbers skyrocketed during the sordid Monica Lewinsky saga.  He was the pioneer of "reality television" before that genre even had a name.

Right alongside Cops.  At least Hillary wasn't prone to wearing tube tops.

She's not sweating Biden's burgeoning challenge, BTW - or so she says:

The Hillary Clinton campaign is not worrying about the prospect of Vice President Joe Biden joining the Democrat presidential field, says Rodham communications director Jennifer Palmieri.

"We'll let him make his decision," Palmieri said Sunday on CNN's Reliable Sources.

"However hard it is to secure the Democrat nomination is however hard it is," she said. "We have no illusions – we never thought that this was going to be easy. There's a lot of views in the Democrat Party, and we'll be prepared to handle whatever comes our way."

Well, that was a lie.  Her Nib has always expected it to be easy, by the implement of everybody else being commanded to get the hell out of her way.  Just as there is only one view in the Democrat Party, it's instinctive, and from which dissent is not tolerated.

But Biden is no challenge to Mrs. Clinton.  Neither is Bernie Sanders.  The biggest challenger to Hillary is....herself.

Mr. Harpootlian sums it up:

"I think Hillary comes into the race, as she did in '08, with all kinds of baggage," he said. "There[are] going to be distractions, we saw just this week with the Wall Street Journal about payments money raised to the foundation and speeches given, prior to her becoming secretary of state… It’s that kind of record and those kinds of distractions that will keep her off-balance and the Democrat party off-balance throughout the [Rodham] campaign"

[Mrs.] Clinton, he said, "will die a death of a thousand cuts."
