April 15th is upon us, and Tea Party Protests are planned across the nation. The Left, never happy to allow anyone to have any kind of free speech that may disagree with them, is planning to crash some of the parties, as well as hosting events disguised as Tea Parties, but are actually Liberal Rallies.
Rush Limbaugh has gone so far as to suggest that Obama's speech on Tuesday, and the release of a report that essentially calls anyone supporting Conservative views Right Wing Radicals that must be watched closely by the government, were provided as an attempt to disarm the Tea Parties, suggesting that the events are only being conducted by the Far Right Fringe.
In reality, the Tea Parties are hardly the culmination of mere fringe thinkers. These rallies are American citizens angry at the expansion of government, the out of control spending, and the intrusion of the Federal Government on State's Rights. The insane spending of the federal government will take generations to pay off, and that's only if spending is reduced later. The Federal Government is squandering untold trillions of dollars to bail out an economy crippled by the past actions of the same kind of liberal and moderate thinking by big spenders in the same federal government.
The number of Tea Parties across the country is staggeringly in the hundreds, with tens of thousands of people expected to participate. There are even Tea Parties expected outside the boundaries of the U.S. as well.
No surprise that the media has done little, if any, coverage of the Tea Parties, but since tomorrow the rallies will be the elephant in the room, expect coverage to increase. But any coverage will be criticisms anchored in accusations of the rallies being by the fringe, or the coverage will question the organizational aspects of the rallies, or accuse the events of having no defined focus.
This Tea Party phenomenon is a part of what may be a rising Revolution. The total disregard of the U.S. Constitution by the Obama Administration has many angry. The debt being piled into the trillions of dollars has got to stop. It is one thing for government to be disagreed with by an opposing party, but this Administration has gone too far and deserves more than just a disagreement. Such disregard for America is worth fighting for, and the fight begins on April 15th, at a Tea Party near you.
