Sony Hackers to Target an American News Organization Next

By Douglas V. Gibbs

Criminal hacking has caught everyone's attention, nearly killed any viewing of "The Interview," and now the hackers promise to hack into the media. . . but which news organization?

If the hacks are politically motivated, and since this kind of underhanded criminal activity tends to reside in the unstable minds of liberal leftists, I am going to hazard a guess and say that Fox News will be the target.  That does not leave out other possibilities, such as One America News, the Washington Times, or any other non-liberal outlet.

However, that said, if the group's activities are not necessarily politically motivated, and they want maximum exposure because they went after the old dogs, which would probably give them the most attention for their buck, their target will be the New York Times or CNN.  Those targets, in their mind, will enable them to say, "We did that, and everybody knows it.

Obama Frees Nuclear Jihadist

by JASmius

Everything we have ever known, speculated, or suspected about Barack Hussein Obama as an enemy of the United States of America has been a stupendous understatement, because this get-out-of-jail free card proves that he really is bent on allowing all of us to be slaughtered:

The last releases saw terrorists rated as high risk freed by Obama. They included fighters with experience on the battlefield and covert operations. Obama set loose a suicide bomber, a document forger and a bomb maker who trained other terrorists to make bombs. Those are exactly the sorts of enemies whose license to Jihad will cost lives.

But that’s nothing compared to Obama’s latest gift to the Jihad.

When Mohammed Zahir was caught, among his possessions was found a small sealed can marked, in Russian, “Heavy Water U235 150 Grams.”

According to the classified report, the uranium had been identified by Zahir “in his memorandum as being intended for the production of an “atom bomb.”

Zahir was not just another captured Jihadist. He was the Secretary General of the Taliban’s Intelligence Directorate and was in contact with top leaders of the Taliban and Al Qaeda. His possessions included a fax with questions intended for Osama bin Laden and he had been arrested on suspicion of possessing Stinger missiles.

But that may not have even been the worst of it.

Among the items was a notebook containing references to large sugar shipments to Washington, D.C. Investigators believed that sugar was used as a code word for heroin. The Black Sea stops mentioned in the notebook are major hubs for smuggling heroin and for nuclear smuggling as well.

Not only was Mohammed Zahir a terrorist kingpin, but he was also a drug kingpin and the notebook suggested that his eye was on the United States of America.

I wish I could get permission to post the whole thing here in its entirety.  It really does illustrate that Barack Obama is deserving of no benefit of any doubt, and that what I've been saying for months now about O not being a lame duck, and being a dictator, and the next two (or more) years being uglier than anything any of us have ever imagined - including decreeing himself a lifetime presidency - were also gob-smackingly over-optimistic.  I could plaintively ask if any journo will ever ask the Regime about his rank Ameriphobic/Islamophilic insanity, but even if any of them did, you couldn't treat anything John Earnest or The One himself said without donning a hazmat suit first and boiling your ears afterwards.

Or, hell, who knows, maybe they'd just tell the truth: They're jihadi-symps and damn proud of it.  After all, Mr. Zahir is being shipped straight back to Afghanistan, complete with frequent flier miles and Michelle Obama’s recipe for arugula fruitcake with broccoli-turnip frosting.

Regardless, we all know that O is cleaning out Gitmo piecemeal, under the radar, instead of making a grand public gesture of doing it all at once - as well as why.  It's the same reason why he's drawing ever closer to the Muslim Brotherhood: whether he really is an Islamic Fundamentalist or simply sees them as a big, helpful means to his "fundamental transformation" mission of leaving America in ruins, he no longer has any reason to hide it.  He'll never face another election, his party is in shambles and thus has no choice but to cling to his royal robes, and he's gutted the power of the other two branches of the federal government and taken it all for himself.  He's untouchable, invincible, and, for all practical purposes, domestically omnipotent.

So he's going to be "the president he always wanted to be"; which is another way of saying, everything that a thorough vetting in 2008 would have kept him from becoming.

See why the Regime was so quick to squash Dinesh D'Souza like a bug?

Exit question: Where would you set the odds on Mohammed Zahir ringing out 2015 with a "bang"?

Islamic Fatwa Bans Mars Colonization

by JASmius

This imamic edict actually surprises me, as I would have thought there was no place that the sword of Allah should not go:

On of the weirdest fatwas was made by United Arab Emirates’ General Authority for Islamic Affairs and Endowments, prohibiting life on Mars. In an official statement, the authority said living on Mars was against Islam, responding to Dutch-run project, Mars One, which proclaims plans for a human colony on the red planet by 2025.

The authority’s argument was that heading to Mars would resemble a suicide given the dangers such a step could involve.

Goodness gracious, whatever happened to the Islamic "sense of adventure"?  Aren't we endlessly lectured by Barack Obama that Islam was the flower of human civilization, advancement, and achievement when Christiandom was wallowing in the medieval, inquisitionary slime?  I would think that the Muslims would want to beat the infidels to the Red Planet.  After all, a world named after the Roman god of war would seem to be a perfect fit for the "holy warriors of Allah".

Or perhaps Islam simply prefers conquering and enslaving existing civilizations instead of having to go through the risk, toil, and drudgery of establishing and building up its own.

Exit question: Perhaps the reason Muslims don't want to go to Mars is that they've already been there....

Maryland's High-Tech Gun Confiscation Racket

by JASmius

One that has Maryland cops using special license plate scanning equipment to target even out-of-state gun owners for harassment, illicit arrests, and gun confiscation, since Maryland does not recognize any other State's concealed carry licenses.  So if you're a legal gun-owner, and you're driving somewhere that would ordinarily include crossing the Old Line State, either take the long way around, or prepare to be thrown in jail:

Baltimore-based criminal defense lawyer Paul Kramer says these type of stops and searches happen far too often in Maryland and are a waste of taxpayer money. Mr. Kramer represented a Pennsylvania security officer who was pulled over in the state for speeding. The Maryland officer asked Mr. Kramer’s client whether he had a gun in the car, and once the man acknowledged he did, the officer arrested him for having the gun and the cartridge in the same locked container — not separated, as per Maryland law.

“You think that Maryland would honor legitimate people with guns rather than charging people who are legitimately carrying but doing it incorrectly,” said Mr. Kramer, who was former deputy U.S. attorney for Maryland. “I would think that the police would want to take the time to go after those people who don’t have a legitimate right to have a gun rather than locking up people who have a valid license.

“An otherwise law-abiding citizen can get arrested here. It’s just a waste of officer time and resources. The police should let those people go,” he said.

It isn't just a waste of taxpayer money and officers' time and resources; it's un-American.  It isn't just un-American; it's flagrantly unconstitutional.

Amendment II once again:

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

Not "may not," not "might not," not "should not"; SHALL not.  It is a declarative statement with no exceptions, no equivocations, and no wiggle room.  Period.

Now you may be saying at this point, "But wait, but wait, but wait, JASmius, what about the incorporation of the Bill of Rights?  The Constitution forbids Congress from infringing on gun rights, but don't States have cart blanche to confiscate them as they see fit?"  And you would, in principle, be right about that.

So we turn to the Maryland State Constitution, whose second article reads:

The Constitution of the United States, and the Laws made, or which shall be made, in pursuance thereof, and all Treaties made, or which shall be made, under the authority of the United States, are, and shall be the Supreme Law of the State; and the Judges of this State, and all the People of this State, are, and shall be bound thereby; anything in the Constitution or Law of this State to the contrary notwithstanding. [emphasis added]

So Maryland has "incorporated" the Second Amendment into its own founding document.  Which means what Maryland has its law enforcement officers doing to law-abiding gun-owners, in and out of its territory, is by definition illegal and unconstitutional.

I presume - and would highly recommend - that putting a quick stop to this tyrannical police-statism will and should be high on Governor-Elect Larry Hogan's to-do list.

A Snowy Morning in Murrieta/Temecula

By Douglas V. Gibbs

As I looked out the kitchen window while I made my breakfast, I was stunned at what I saw.  It has snowed once before in Murrieta since we first came to live here in 1989, but not as thick as this.

My buddy who lives up in La Cresta, a community above Murrieta at the northwest corner of the city, said he's snowed in. . .

Tuesday Afternoon Southern California Earthquake Greets Stormy Weather

By Douglas V. Gibbs

Wet roads, icy temperatures, and an earthquake combined for an abrupt awakening for many Southern California residents on Tuesday afternoon.  A short, but noticeable, earthquake shook Southern California near San Pedro, centered just off the coast about halfway to Catalina Island.  Boasting a reasonable 3.9 magnitude, the earthquake only lasted a few seconds, but served as a reminder to Los Angeles area locals that it has been a while since we've had a major quake, and we are due to be hit some time in the near future.

Meanwhile, the very cold storm moving through drought-stricken Southern California left roads closed, motorists stranded and thousands without power as 6 inches of snow fell in some mountain areas.

Near Mr. Baldy, up to fifty vehicles wound up trapped by snow and icy roads.  Mountain Highway 38 was shut down due to the storm, with the winter storm conditions due to continue through Wednesday, and into New Years Day.  Highways 330 and 18 travel requires chains on all vehicles, except four-wheel-drive vehicles with snow tires on all four wheels.

Ortega Highway, the twisty road guilty of causing many wrecks, and the often used connector between Orange and Riverside counties, is closed from Grand Avenue in Lake Elsinore to the Orange County line due to snow and stuck vehicles.

Southbound lanes of the 15 Freeway in the Cajon Pass were shut down at Main Street in Hesperia because too many vehicles got stuck in the snow.

High winds are affecting travel on the 118 and 405 freeways north of Los Angeles, as well as along Interstate 5 between Lake Hughes and Fort Tejon near the top of the Grapevine.

Overnight Southern California Edison reported nearly 6,000 customers lost power.  Here in Murrieta, power flickered a number of times overnight, but never remained out for any duration of time.

The harsh weather is in full force as folks line up along the Rose Parade route in Pasadena, hoping to keep their good viewing locations.  For the annual parade, weather and earthquakes usually do not serve to be much of a deterrent to Rose Parade revelers.

Obama Surrenders Afghanistan

by JASmius

Here, there, everywhere, Barack Hussein Obama betrays and abandons every country, every people who ever trusted or relied upon the late, great United States, and surges the new Obamerikastan towards humiliating, ignominious defeat.  And just as with Cuban democrats, it's the innocent indigenous left behind who pay the price:

The U.S.....invaded Afghanistan in 2001 to oust the Taliban and stayed on, in part, to build a western-style democracy, including legal safeguards for women. A quota was mandated for women in public offices, such as parliament and provincial councils. Earlier this year, however, conservative lawmakers rolled back the quota reserved for women in provincial councils to 20% from 25%.

I am, of course, no fan of Affirmative Action, but in a culture where women are regarded as property and living blowup dolls, what other way was there to start changing that culture but to force it to see how much better "the other half" lives?

Well, that and American forces remaining in the country to block inevitable recidivism:

Last Sunday marked the formal end to the international combat mission in Afghanistan. And while huge progress has been made getting millions of girls in school and putting women in positions of formal authority, it has had “frustratingly little impact on these power dynamics,” the U.N.-backed Afghanistan Research and Evaluation Unit said in a recent report.

“Today, women’s rights are … one of the feared losses shared by Afghans and the world as international troops prepare to withdraw completely.”

And with good reason.  What was the state of women's rights in Afghanistan under the Taliban?  They were chattel and walking "glory holes".  Under American supervision, Afghani women became de-burqa-ized people and citizens, and even got to cross their legs once in a while.  To what faction is Barack Obama now turning over the country after the two thousand-plus U.S. lives (three-quarters of them sent to their deaths by President Red Lines) sacrificed to liberate and rehabilitate it?

The Taliban.  Much like the 4,486 American lives spent on liberating and rehabilitating Iraq were squandered by The One after he turned that country (and its "fairer sex") over to the Islamic State and the Iranian mullahs.  Hard not to notice a pattern here.

So tell me again who is waging a "War On Women"?

Exit question: Now that it's a full-fledged jihadist race, care to place any bets on which pack of infidel-killers (al Qaeda, ISIS, the Taliban) will knock over another U.S. skyscraper, or nerve gas a U.S. subway, or irradiate a U.S. city first?  I'd still rate Caliph al-Baghdadi's boys as the prohibitive favorites.

The Cuban Spring?

by JASmius

To listen to Barack Obama, you'd think his "opening to Cuba" was bringing about the budding of a beautiful red rose....

....but the reality is a wee bit....warmer.

Too bad you can't ask the three pro-democracy activists (and gentlemen) above who took The One's "diplomatic initiative" as a cue to kick off the peaceful Rose Revolution, as the Castros have had them quickly and summarily jailed:

Cuban police have "detained" at least three leading dissidents ahead of a planned free-speech demonstration in the Plaza de la Revolución.

The arrests of Antonio Rodiles, Eliezer Avila and Reinaldo Escobar look set to be the biggest test yet of diplomatic relations with the U.S. since they were restored earlier this month after fifty-three years of tension.

The crackdown came around lunchtime on Tuesday, just hours before local performance artist Tania Bruguera was due to stage an open-microphone event in Havana’s most politically sensitive square.

Police had denied Bruguera a permit for the “Yo tambien exijo,” [I also demand]” demonstration and warned activists not to participate, but several had indicated their willingness to participate in this test case for public dissent.

The authorities did not give them a chance.

Maybe Señors Rodiles, Avila, and Escobar were attempting to demonstrate to O that embracing the Castros will not "open up" Cuba but only prop up the communist regime and sell the poor, enslaved Cuban people down the proverbial river.  You have to admit that this is more than a little embarrassing to the White House to have his new buddies in Havana very publicly crush a pro-democracy demonstration barely two weeks after his much-ballyhooed, tiresomely overhyped, slavishly bow-filled "diplomatic breakthrough".  It's almost as if they don't fear us or "international isolation" at all - perhaps the preceding fifty-five years should have been a good clue - and are possessed of an overweening confidence that the Obamerikastani monarch doesn't give a damn what they do to their own subjects, but is rather taking notes for after his own coup de tat.

Will Red Barry interrupt his Hawaiian occupation to even put on a jacket, come before the hastily assembled press jackals, and deliver an empty, lecture-y condemnatory statement?  Are you kidding?  He's probably so zonked on Cuban choom that he's sleeping it off in the bunker on the sixteenth green at Che Guevera Links Kapolei.

China Cracks Down on Freedom, Christianity

By Douglas V. Gibbs

David Marshall explained when he was on the December 13, 2014 episode of Constitution Radio with Douglas V. Gibbs that in China a powerful underground Christian Church exists.  Though some freedoms had emerged for a short while as Communist China toyed with the insertion of limited capitalism into their otherwise government-managed economy, as citizens become more defiant after tasting a small morsel of freedom, the communist leadership is cracking down on any public displays of Christianity, and any emergence of paraphernalia or information that champions liberty.  The Chinese ruling class recognizes that with Christianity comes an increase in a demand for freedom, and the communists in control refuse to tolerate such a passion.

The intolerance by the government in China regarding Christianity has revealed itself recently.  A week before Christmas Chinese authorities dismantled a cross at a Christian nursing home.  The decision by the communist government occurred in the Zhejiang province, where the Christian population has been steadily growing.  The reason given for the removal of the cross was simply that the "orders came from high up."

426 churches in the province have received orders for the demolition or removal of crosses.  China claims it guarantees freedom of religion, as long as people worship in institutions that are registered with the ruling Communist Party's religious affairs authorities.  Some here in the States may, considering the assault on Christianity in the United States, expect similar requirements in America to emerge as well, with the added caveat that the churches must preach approved messages, such as regarding homosexuality.  Liberal leftists have already attempted such a move in Houston, and there is no doubt that won't be the last time we experience such an assault against religious freedom.

China is home to an estimated 60 million Protestants, but as the church grows, government persecution is increasing, under a government decision of a broader crackdown on dissent and religion.  Increased crackdowns are expected after the first of the year, largely fueled by the Muslim extremism in the western region of China, an area occupied by a significant Uighur Muslim population.

The communists also recognize that danger to their power structure that a system based on a written rule of law may present.  An example of this understanding is the recent one-year jail sentence given to a filmmaker who produced a documentary on the country's 100-year quest for constitutional rule.

Shen Yongping was found guilty in Beijing of running an illegal business because he had not obtained permission to film the documentary.  Shen argued he was innocent because he had released the film online for free and did not profit from it.

Though the ruling Communist Party says it has pledged to respect the constitution and legal system, critics say the communists continue to act as if they are above the law, and despite the lip service, are hostile to true constitutional rule.

Communist Party publications have sternly warned over the last year against Western-style constitutional democracy.

Shen, who is in his early 30s, was detained in April shortly after he finished filming the eight-part series on efforts in China to achieve constitutional rule since the last days of the imperial Qing Dynasty.  He had been warned and threatened with arrest a number of times during filming by authorities.

As we study what is going on in China, we can find a number of similarities to the crackdowns against liberty and Christianity in the United States by the Obama administration.  The path to accomplish these atrocities against freedom and Christianity in America, however, is being accomplished through a different set of tools and strategies - be it the Affordable Care Act's mandate that religious institutions also pay for insurance that covers abortion aids despite their religious stance on the issue, or the court's rulings against Christians for daring to stand against Homofascism, which recently resulted in a Christian Bakery losing a case regarding the refusal to bake a cake for a gay couple, and ultimately being forced into bankruptcy, and the example of the Houston mayor demanding the transcripts of sermons to make sure they did not speak negatively against homosexuality.

Missing Planes and the Muslim Connection Wreaks of Terrorism

By Douglas V. Gibbs

This article is simply the offspring of observation, and speculation regarding those observations.

The AirAsia flight that recently vanished, without a word, was being flown by Captain Iriyanto, a devout and active Muslim (and his co-pilot was a Muslim-French National).  The pilot of the Malaysian flight that vanished without a word was also a devout Muslim, as was his co-pilot.  Both were experienced flyers, and experts found it to be conceivable that they could have avoided the tragedies that befell them and the dead passenger under their care.  Experts found it inconceivable that communications simply went dark, and they simply lost touch with the flights and then had to search for the flights for an extended period of time before discovering the fateful ends of the AirAsia flight, and never discovering the wreckage of the Malaysia flight.

Was the disappearance of these flights, and the nose dive of the first flight into the ocean, and the disappearance of the second, just a tragedy, or do they have anything in common with the flights that nose dived into twin towers, a Pennsylvania field, and the Pentagon, on September 11, 2001?  When the first flight hit the World Trade Center we exclaimed, "What an awful accident!"  When the second plane hit, and we saw the images, we exclaimed, "This was done on purpose!"  When the first plane from the Indonesian region vanished under dubious circumstances, we cried out how unfortunate of an accident it was (well, some of us suspected foul play, in defiance to the politically correct narrative being pushed by the media).  Now that there has been a second flight that suddenly vanished, similar in circumstances, and similar in the membership to Islam in regards to the pilots, should we once again say it was a tragic accident?  Or should we come to the same conclusion we came to when the second plane hit the twin towers, and realize it was done on purpose?

I wonder how many passengers on those planes were non-Muslims?  How would the slaughter of those people differ in the mind of the terrorists participating in a suicide-bombing at a school in Israel, or shooting up a mall in the United States, or hijacking planes on 9/11, knowing that the consequences will be death?  The potential final result with the two flights were either to reach a destination so that the planes could be used later as missiles, or a dive into the ocean, both or which could be considered serving Allah, and likely a 72-virgin inspired suicide with the death of infidels on the hands of the perpetrator.

Both flights are believed to have sabotage involved.  Both flights veered off course dramatically.  And in both cases the change of direction enabled the planes to avoid detection, to avoid local military radar, and to avoid being stopped in their endeavor.  And how is it in this day and age we can lose contact, and eyes on, these flights without a little monkey-business being performed somewhere?  And if there was outside help, does that not reveal the potential of purposeful manipulation?  Are those not acts of terrorism?

In both cases it is believed that "deliberate action" may have been involved in the downing of the aircraft.  Yet, there was radio silence.  No calls for help.  No proclamation of emergency protocols.  No distress signal.

Either, neither experienced flyer knew there was a problem, or they caused the problem and wanted it to remain unknown until the task was done.

On top of all of that, experts say that based on data we know, the pilots in both flights had plenty of time to determine there was a problem, and report it.

Who needs a bomb on board a plane when the pilot himself is that bomb?

Both flights had their transponders manually turned off, veered of course, were piloted by experienced pilots that should have had the ability to avoid such disasters, there were no distress calls, and the pilots were both followers of Muhammad from Indonesia (the country with the highest Muslim population in the world). . . . and we have the audacity to call them accidents?

The Malaysian flight was never found.  The AirAsia flight dove straight into the ocean.  Perhaps the Malaysian flight met the same fate, or it landed somewhere to be used as a missile on a later date, and the AirAsia flight hijacking was simply foiled, like Flight United 93 that wound up in a Pennsylvania field.

Accidents?  Or terrorism?

Are we so blinded by propaganda, lies by Muslim leaders, and political correctness perpetrated by the liberal left that we cannot recognize Islamic terrorism when it slaps us in the face?

Global Warming Chill

By Douglas V. Gibbs

Southern California is finally getting a taste of the cold, arctic chill the rest of the nation has been experiencing for a while.  Today, we've been getting some rain, and the unusually cold storm is bringing much needed snow to California mountains.  The high deserts are experiencing icy conditions.  North of here, up in Central and Northern California, they are getting low enough temperatures that, although these chilling temperatures will not be record-breaking, are lower than normal and causing quite a shiver.

Though the snow and rain levels will not be significant enough to march us toward declaring our drought is at an end, the little bit of the wet weather being received is welcomed on that front.  As for the temperatures, New Years Eve, and early New Years Morning are expected to get near freezing.

As someone who rejects the concept of man-made global warming, recognizing climate change as a natural phenomenon largely contributed to by the Sun, and recognizing the man-made push to limit carbon dioxide output as a political agenda designed to enable a small group of political elite to dictate to governments and individuals their energy use for the purpose of supporting a tyrannical statist agenda, I welcome the colder weather as yet another sign that the predictions by global warming enthusiasts like American politician Al Gore were nothing more than a load of crap uttered by a hard left liberal who hoped hysteria based on global environmentalism may assist in the furtherance of the hard left agenda for a new political order on a worldwide stage.

Cold storms, and wintry weather, are not enough to convince the liars of the left, and their faithful "Let's Save The Planet from Climate Change" crowd, that they are basing their religion on a bunch of hooey.  Even the fact that for more than sixteen years the planet ceased its warming trend, and we have been entering a "natural" cooling phase, has not swayed their unwavering faith. Earth's sea ice, as we reach the end of 2014, has been expanding to record levels.  Arctic ice is returning to levels last seen in 1984, leaving the area of Arctic sea ice nearly identical to what it was 30 years ago when Climate Change purveyors claim Global Warming was first getting worse (and had finally abandoned their "We're heading for the next ice age" hysteria).  In the media I have actually seen liberal leftists making the claim that Arctic sea ice levels are dangerously low, and that 2014 was one of the coldest years on record. . . a blatantly false assertion.

One might ask, why would the supporters of man-made Climate Change lie like that?

The truth is not cooperating with the left's agenda.

Nullification and the Electoral College

By Douglas V. Gibbs

A listener responded to a comment I made on Constitution Radio with Douglas V. Gibbs last Saturday when, while explaining nullification's constitutionality, I made a comparison to the Trinity in the Bible, saying that like the word "Trinity" is not in the Holy Bible, the word "Nullification" is not in the Constitution, but through Article VI, the 10th Amendment, and basic principles of State Sovereignty, the concept constitutionally exists.

The listener wrote:

Doug,
You said the word "Nullification" is not in the Constitution but it is there. I agree. The principle is implied. But you have often said that about the "electoral college." But, I just wanted to remind you so when you state that on the electoral college, that will not be true, not even with imagination can you read it into the Document.
I responded:

Nullification is not "implied."  It is there specifically in description, and authority as provided by the Tenth Amendment.  It is simply not there by the name "nullification."  To use the word "implied" is to allude to implied powers, which are unconstitutional, and are used to circumvent the United States Constitution through the "interpretation" of the Constitution by the whims of politicians and judges.

The Electoral College is the same, described specifically through the electors belonging to the States in Article II, Section 1, and refined by the 12th Amendment. . . but the name "Electoral College," was not used until the 1800s.  The Electoral College is a very important tool that protects us from the excesses of democracy.  Without the Electoral College, our spiral into tyranny would be much worse.  The Electoral College protects the minority States.  If the election was by pure democratic process, and decided by the popular vote, the winner would be decided by the seven largest metropolitan areas, and any voice of rural America would be ignored, and have no power in the process.

Captain Oinks Slamming America

by JASmius

H3N2, to be more specific, a mutated strain cases of which are, eerily enough, most highly concentrated in the same region of the country out of which Enterovirus D-68 suddenly and not so "mysteriously" erupted back at the start of the school year:

Those particularly at risk are those over sixty-five and younger than four and across the nation 2,500 people have been hospitalized because of the growing crisis, which is worsening.

According to the CDC, data from 122 US cities shows deaths from influenza and pneumonia exceeded the national baseline and is at the epidemic threshold of 6.8%.
The new data also reflects the fact that the number of states reporting high flu activity has risen from thirteen to twenty-two.

The reason for the national explosion in flu numbers is this years H3N2 virus has mutated and reduced the effectiveness of the vaccine which was pre-prepared.

About 90% of flu cases so far this year have been the virulent H3N2 subtype, the CDC reported.

Is anybody at the Obama CDC even considering, or having the possibility even occur to them, that perhaps, just maybe, the cause of this mutation of H3N2 stems from the huge influx of diseased migrants from Latin America this past summer?  It certainly seems like a possibility exploration of which ought to be part of the CDC's due diligence.  Which is why it will remain the unspoken, sniffling, coughing, hacking, sneezing, shivering, eight-hundred-pound gorilla in the virology birdcage.  Notice from the link above that we had to go to the London Daily Mail even to learn about the Captain Oinks epidemic and the sparse dots I connected above.  Ironic it is that the only place Americans can learn ALL the news is an external source who will eventually outlive the State-side population it is most effectively serving.

Exit question: If H3N2 has mutated and existing flu inoculations are no longer effective, what point is there to dropping thirty bucks on a shot that won't keep you out of several weeks' misery anyway?

Pros and Cons of Term Limits

By Douglas V. Gibbs

A popular cry by conservatives is for term limits.  We have a term limit set against the President, as per the 22nd Amendment, so why not for the rest of the cockroaches in Washington scurrying around in the halls of Congress?

I believe we already have the recipe for term limits through the voters.  When a politician has overstayed his or her welcome in office, or have become just another mindless automaton that embraces the establishment and rejects the concerns of the electorate, the voters should be informed enough to recognize the cancer, and remove the Congress Critter through the voting booth.  But, the voters have not been living up to their duty.  While the approval rating of Congress is consistently below 20%, over 60% of voters like their own representative.  It is always "the other guy's fault."  Since the electorate has failed to uphold their end of the bargain in our republic, their part in the concept of limiting the powers of the political class cannot be trusted, and it may be necessary to place term limits on politicians in the absence of an informed electorate capable of acting upon its duties.

The Founding Fathers believed term limits were not necessary because politicians were expected to maintain some semblance of sacred honor.  The electorate was also supposed to remain an informed one, willing to eliminate politicians who showed a lack of the sacred honor necessary to represent the people.  In today's political dynamic, neither necessary ingredient are any longer present. In 2010, when I ran for city council of Murrieta, one of the issues I ran on was a measure on the ballot for term limits against city council members, which called for no more than two consecutive terms. I liked the measure because it allowed for the cream of the crop, after a one term break, to run again. . . they just couldn't as an incumbent, while still forcing those that may desire to simply be local professional politicians to step down and relinquish their iron grip on local politics.

That all said, there are also dangers that go along with term limits. In California, term limits have been a disaster.  It has become a tool used by Democrats to keep themselves in power through an intricate web of political lineage, while rejecting any challengers that may try to upset the culture, or remain in office long enough to break the chain of liberal left dominance.

In the world of business, a concept such as "term limits" would be an unmitigated disaster.  As one friend of mine once asked me, "should a successful CEO, or group of board members of a very successful corporation, be replaced by a bunch of rookies by force, on occasion? Would that be best for business."

As you can see, there are a myriad of pros and the cons regarding term limits.  In the absence of an informed electorate, and a political community steeped in sacred honor, however, we may have no other choice than to pursue term limits.  Term limits may be necessary to force the "good ol' boys" out of office, so that they can be replaced with fresh blood, and fresh ideas, and perhaps break the chain of establishment politics. Unfortunately, the bureaucrats, staffers and consultants, will never be subject of term limits, or the vote of the people, and the real problems may very well lie in that class of political elitists.

Obama To Kick Off 2015 With "Panoply" Of Regulations

by JASmius

panoply:

1) A splendid or striking array or arrangement.
a panoply of colorful flags.
2) Ceremonial attire with all accessories.
a portrait of the general in full panoply.
3) Something that covers and protects.
a porcupine's panoply of quills.
4) The complete arms and armor of a warrior.

Nah, I don't think that word really fits the next massive wave of crushing oppression, Dick.  "Avalanche" or "tsunami" or "deathblow" all work much better, IMHO:

The remainder of the Obama presidency....

Two years or four decades, or something in-between.

....will be replete with a "panoply of regulations you can’t imagine," political strategist and commentator Dick Morris predicted Tuesday on Newsmax TV's "America’s Forum."

"He'll attempt to send the Internet to an international authority, perhaps the United Nations, so that our enemies can control it, Russia and China," Morris said.

Before or after he necrotizes it into a de facto public utility?  Would Czar Vlad and/or the ChiComms even want it anymore after O ruined it?

"He's going to make unionization virtually universal in the private sector, by basically stacking it so that the unions can win any union election they choose to bring by changing the rules of the game," Morris said.

Which is to say, there won't be any rules for Big Labor, who will be empowered to rape and plunder the business remnant, big, medium, and small alike.

"The EPA is going to regulate streams on private property. It's going to regulate every institution, every hospital, every school in the United States in terms of its emissions. If you think you can have money for education, forget about it, you're going to have to convert your heating system instead.

So there won't be money for education OR healthcare.  Does that mean there'll be a stiff fine for being stripped of our ability to afford either one?  And will the EPA finally be done with it and heavily, smotheringly, suffocatingly "regulate" our breathing and farting as well in their War On Plants?

And will that include implants in our noses and rectums that will "regulate" the amount of CO2 we can excrete?  Is it too late to get one of those "I can't breathe" t-shirts?

"His whole approach in foreign policy will be to tilt directly in favor of our former adversaries who are still our adversaries, he just won't recognize it," Morris said.

Oh, he recognizes it, alright.  And that "tilting" has been taking place for six years.

"On healthcare reform, he's going to change it as much as he has to, to try to conform to the court decisions and he's going to try to continue it even though the courts may be against them.

O doesn't "conform" to anyone or anything.  We all have to conform to him - or else.

"And on immigration, he's just going to complete the process he began. This isn't his last amnesty." [emphasis added]

Thanks for echoing me on (ostensibly) national (satellite) TV, Dick.

All of the above simply drills down into the details of what I've been saying ever since this past summer, ladies and gentlemen: Barack Obama is not a lame duck, but rather an ascending strongman liberated of the pretense of having to pretend to care about the public opinion of which he has always been contemptuous.  He's in the position in which he always wanted to be: No more elections, being his decimated party's last and only line of policy and power defense against the ostensibly rising GOP, and having already taken Congress's Article I, Section 1 legislative power for himself.  The stage is now set for a "unilaterial" Marxist-Alinskyist Executive decree blitzkrieg that will make the 2009-2010 biennium look like a Constitutional Convention reenactment.

Amusingly, Mr. Morris still seems to believe that Congress is still relevant:

Come February, when funding for immigration programs terminate under the recently passed budget, the "fight of the century" will commence between President Obama and the Congress to fully fund immigration or cut it back, according to Morris, author of "Power Grab: Obama’s Dangerous Plan for a One Party Nation."....

"This is a confrontation Congress can and will win," he said.

I hope you didn't bet your book advance on that prediction, Dick.

California To Target Sexually Harassing Kindergartners

by JASmius

At the rate at which this puerile nonsense is heading down the age scale, are pedofile "activists" going to reach the point of requiring fetuses to be taught all about sex?  And will that put them on a collision course with the abortion lobby that wants to slaughter them all before they can escape the birth canal in order to get their own nether passages deflowered?:

According to Alejandra Melgoza, Take Back the Night coordinator at UC Santa Barbara, consent education would include teaching students to keep their hands to themselves.

“Concerned parents might think we’re talking about consent in a purely sexual context, when really we’re talking on a day-to-day basis,” Melgoza told the Huffington Post.

“Consent is not just for intercourse,” Meghan Warner, director of Associated Students of the University of California Sexual Assault Commission told HuffPo. “It’s for all aspects of our lives, and people aren’t understanding or being taught that.”

Warner, a UC Berkeley student, explained that the consent education would also cover healthy relationships, verbal harassment, and awareness of others’ space.

Ohhhhh.  So toddler orgies are just the assumption, and what UCSACs are bent on doing is making sure that the little tykes are all willing participants, and not, like, you know, too hammered from the "hard" apple juice in their tippy-cups to know whether they're supposed to be "pitching" or "catching".  Gotcha.

“I think kindergarten is too young for that,” Aaron Fulcher, a third-year biological science major at UC Santa Barbara told Campus Reform. “Kids that age shouldn’t be exposed to material like that.”

“A lot of sex ed can be either biased or incorrect, so with that kind of misinformation, it could be pretty damaging to a seven-year-old and their views on sex and relationships later in life,” Fulcher said.

What a fascist fuddy-duddy Mr. Fulcher is.  Doesn't he know that four- and five-year-old boys have been unwantedly groping, feeling up, fingering, squeezing, downward-choking, and riding four- and five-year old girls for centuries?  Doesn't he understand that it has to stop NOW?!?

What's that?  Dampness in their pull-ups is more likely to be from incomplete potty-training than from any shared bodily fluids?  The only bodily fluids they could share would require all of them to be taken straight to the bathtubs?  AHA!  See?  See?  You know what happens in bathtubs, don't you, Mr. Fulcher?  Ever seen a Cialis commercial?  Getting naked and wet, that's what!  It's just the opening these cuddly horndogs need!  How did a square stick-in-the-mud nursery rape culture-enabler like you even get into UC-Berkeley, anyway?

All I know is, if every last touch, slurp, moan, thrust, and dribble of sex isn't taught to kindergarteners now, every lower primary school girl will be sexually assaulted and impregnated within the next few years, before they've even had a chance to learn the ins and outs of slutting and whoring.  Which, I suppose, will be the end of the Obama depression for Planned Parenthood, if they can figure out how the coercive seeding wave somehow happened immaculately.

Yeah, this'll be an "education" alright.  Especially seeing as how after this creative mode of child abuse gets established in the Acupulco Golden State, it'll be sliding its way northward not too long thereafter.

NYC Black Insurrectionists Using N.Y. Communist Party Signs

by JASmius

Hence the URL at the bottom of the sign, in not-exactly fine print.  It would seem that the CPUSA never lets a crisis go to waste any more than does its patron devil in the White House:

The far left is rising in America, and radical communists are being drawn to Ferguson protests all over the nation. They are hoping the Ferguson event will lead to the revolution they desire and their goals, for some reason, are being supported by our administration and the administrations in several states and cities including New York City.

They are a minority in terms of numbers but they are also dangerous.

America has changed.

About 49% of young people age 18 to 29 have a favorable view of socialism which, as we know, is the pathway to communism.

By now, anyone following the Ferguson riots/protests has seen the signs from revcom.us which stands for the Revolutionary Communist Party. We have some of them pictured below.

The party is led by an ex-domestic terrorist from the 1970’s named Bob Avakian.

There's a lot more about Comrade Avakian at the third link.  Here he is calling for - whaddaya know? - "violent revolution" in Obamerikastan.  Which is kind of redundant at this point, but hey, it's his living:

Communists never went anywhere after the fall of the Soviet Union.  They just put on dark suits with blue ties, cut their hair, shaved, and pretended to fit into the American "mainstream," from which they dragged that "mainstream" ever leftward under cover of such contrived issues as "universal health care" and "anti-war protesting" and "environmentalism" until the point where an actual, barely-disguised communist was actually elected (and then re-elected) POTUS.

And as we see with the Ferguson-inspired racist insurrection, clearly Comrade Avakian doesn't consider his work to be done.

UPDATE: And in Los Angeles, immolative murder threats and f-bombs for all:

[Extremist] "protesters" gathered Monday night in Los Angeles at 65th Street and Broadway, where Ezell Ford, a 25-year-old black man who family members said was mentally ill, was killed by two LAPD officers on August 11th. That vigil soon turned violent with some of the demonstrators threatening members of the media covering the vigil.

One of the protesters shoved a lighter in the face of a KTLA photographer and threatened to set him on fire if he didn’t stop videotaping the vigil.

Earlier Monday, [extreme]ists were called to LAPD headquarters downtown at 3 p.m. in an “emergency call to action” posted by Los Angeles People’s Media on Facebook. “Hands Up 4 [Revenge]” was scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. in Leimert Park, according to the advocacy group National Action Network Los Angeles.

Scheduled for four days after the release of a “Selma,” film about Martin Luther King Jr.’s Alabama protests for African-Americans’ voting rights, the march and rally in Leimert Park was advertised on a flier featuring an image of the iconic civil rights leader with his hands up. The flier also referred to Ezell Ford.

A long-delayed autopsy report on Ford’s death was also released Monday. In November, L.A. Mayor Eric Garcetti said he had ordered the report released before the end of the year.

Los Angeles Police Department Chief Charlie Beck at that time said the report was being withheld while investigators sought out witnesses to the shooting.

Don't the insurrectionists understand that the media is their ally?  Looks like that young man was asleep during "revolutionary propaganda tactics" class.

Missing AirAsia Flight Found, Crashed, Debris Scattered in Java Sea

By Douglas V. Gibbs
AirAsia's stocks struggled as news of missing AirAsia flight QZ8501 spread. The missing flight is an Airbus A320-200 twin-engine single-aisle aircraft capable of seating up to 180 passengers in a single-class configuration.  Early reports had the jet declared as safe, with no known problems.

The crew attempted to avoid bad weather, but found themselves caught up in dense storm clouds, strong winds and lightning. Shortly after, Indonesian air traffic control lost contact with the flight. The flight from Indonesia to Singapore was mostly inhabited by Indonesians, but one Singaporean, one Malaysian, one British, and three South Koreans were also aboard. Including the seven crew members, there were 162 people on board the flight when it vanished.

A number of countries offered support in the search for the AirAsian flight, and Indonesia specifically asked the United States for assistance in locating the missing flight.

After a couple days of searching, objects from the wreckage of the flight began to appear in the Java Sea. AFP reported objects resembling an emergency slide, and a plane door.  An Indonesian air force official later stated that ten big objects had been spotted, and a large number of "white-colored objects," located about 10km from the spot where the plane was last seen on the radar.  A shadow has also been located on the seabed, which is believed to be the missing plane.  Shortly after debris began to be spotted, bodies also began to appear, floating near the site where the plane was last scene.
The recovery effort has become a joint operation, including both the Indonesian Navy and American warships. A number of other countries have also lent their assistance. Ongoing attempts to recover bodies from the water have been severely hampered by poor weather and waves of between two and three metres in height.

Al Jazeera America Calls on Constitution Guy, Douglas V. Gibbs

Douglas V. Gibbs will be on Al Jazeera America, December 30, 2014 at 4:50 am Pacific/7:50 am Eastern.

Your Friendly Neighborhood Constitution Guy will be on Al Jazeera America television Tuesday morning regarding immigration . . .
Sorry for the late notification, but the final wrinkles were just ironed out. Al Jazeera America television has asked me to be on their national cable network tomorrow morning at 4:50 am Pacific/7:50 am Eastern to discuss immigration in connection to their series about the poor immigrants trying to come to America and escape horrible situations back home as refugees. I have an interesting answer for them, that they may not be in agreement with me on.

Set your DVR, or get up early, but make sure you are on time because I am being told that all of this fuss is for a 3 minute interview (which is even less time than I got from them last July).

Flashback

If you will remember, I was asked last July by these people at Al Jazeera America why I was angry with the immigrants (NPR actually asked me why I "hate" the immigrants), and I responded that I am not angry with them. I get it. They want to come to the greatest country on Earth. It makes sense. I am angry at the federal government for encouraging these people to put themselves in a dangerous situation, to brave a journey that includes association with diseased migrants, criminals, gang members, and terrorists, and I am angry at the federal government then treating these people like cattle. . . for political purposes. The immigration laws on the books are not for the purpose of discrimination, but to protect the receiving population from disease, a potential criminal element, and a potential terrorist element. The laws are there to screen immigrants, not to let anybody come as they are, and then place the receiving population at risk. That is one of the reasons why in Article I, Section 9 of the United States Constitution Congress is authorized to pass legislation prohibiting certain persons from being able to immigrate into the United States. Ellis Island was set up specifically for the purpose of screening immigrants in order to protect the receiving population.

As for the Murrieta Protests last July, Article IV, Section 4 gives the federal government the authority to protect the States from invasion, hence, the obligation of the federal government to secure the national border. Once the illegal aliens are within the State's jurisdiction, the State has the authority to protect its interior and enforce immigration laws, as per the 10th Amendment. Yet, as we saw regarding the Arizona immigration law, the federal government not only refuses to honor State authority regarding immigration, but sued Arizona for daring to pass law that was not in sync with the political agenda of the ruling elite in Washington DC.

With such a short segment in the morning, they tell me it will be about three minutes, I doubt I will be able to touch on the legal points I just gave you, but you never know.

Thank you for your support, and let me know how I did when we meet on January 3, 2015 at the Constitution Association meeting in Menifee.

Sincerely,

Douglas Gibbs

Out of Afghanistan

By Douglas V. Gibbs

The anti-war candidate that became President has finally decided it is time to pull American combat troops out of Afghanistan during the final two years of his final term in office.  The personnel that will remain in the region will be for non-combat operations, and training.  One wonders if perhaps his decision was influenced by the possibility of needing the additional personnel to fight against ISIS in Iraq?

Originally, the plan was for the number be cut in half by the end of 2015, and by the end of 2016 to have only a force in place to protect the U.S. Embassy in Kabul.  In May, the President announced U.S. Combat troops would be out of the region by January of 2015.

Earlier this year, Mr. Obama said the withdrawal of combat troops from Afghanistan would free up resources to confront the emerging terrorist threat in the Middle East, a group now identified as The Islamic State (ISIS).  As Obama now announces we are done with Afghanistan, and we are pulling out as many troops as we can, and as military gear piles up in Kuwait, it is fascinating that the timing of getting out of Afghanistan coincides with the Obama administration possibly preparing to launch a massive ground assault against ISIS.

On Sunday, President Barack Obama said it is time to "conclude the war responsibly."  10,000 troops remain, but the war is formally ended.  In a ceremony in Afghanistan's capital of Kabul on Sunday, the commander of the International Security Assistance Force officially marked the end of coalition combat in Afghanistan by rolling up the ISAF flag.

The White House claims Afghanistan is better off now than when the United States began its mission in the country thirteen years ago, but the violence in Kabul has been increasing as American presence has been reduced.

While golfing in Hawaii, and forcing a wedding to relocate because they dared to allow their ceremony to be where he wanted to play through, President Obama commented on the withdrawal.  Obama's Christmas address to Marines stationed on Oahu thanked the troops for their efforts and achievements in Afghanistan, and asserted the U.S. is safer because of the effort there.

Afghanistan is "not going to be a source of terrorist attacks again," he said at the Marine Corps Base Hawaii in Kaneohe Bay.  I fear Mr. Obama may be mistaken.  All Islamic countries are likely to be a source for terrorist attacks in the future.

The Taliban's response to the U.S. removal of troops has been to claim it signifies that the Taliban has defeated the United States in Afghanistan.

ObamaCare Fines To Rise For Uninsured

by JASmius

Funny how O hasn't yet unconstitutionally deferred the Individual Mandate again, isn't it?  What could have happened to cause him to leave that off his presidential to-do list?  Hmmmmm.....:

Being uninsured in America will cost you more in 2015.

It's the first year all taxpayers have to report to the Internal Revenue Service whether they had health insurance for the previous year, as required under President Barack Obama's law. Those who were uninsured face fines, unless they qualify for one of about thirty exemptions, most of which involve financial hardships.

Dayna Dayson of Phoenix estimates that she'll have to pay the taxman $290 when she files her federal return. Dayson, who's in her early thirties, works in marketing and doesn't have a lot left over each month after housing, transportation and other fixed costs. She'd like health insurance but she couldn't afford it in 2014, as required by the law.

"It's touted as this amazing thing, but right now, for me, it doesn't fit into my budget," she said.

In essence, Miss Dayson is being fined for being down on her luck. Since Americans no longer have a choice about purchasing health insurance, and she can't afford it, evidently even with the illegal subsidies through healthcare.gov, she is being penalized for the bleak economic condition which Obamanomics has inflicted upon her.  Tell me how this is "compassionate" again?  Or a "great deal"?  Or "universal coverage"?  Or "this amazing thing"?  It looks to me like a mass bilking, and Miss Dayson recognizes it.

Of course, not every Obamerikastani does:

Ryan Moon of Des Moines, Iowa, graduated from college in 2013 with a bachelor's in political science, and is still hunting for a permanent job with benefits. He expects to pay a fine of $95. A supporter of the health care law, he feels conflicted about its insurance mandate and fines.

Translation: He also recognizes what a tyrannical ripoff ObamaCare is, but he doesn't want to publicly admit it for fear of being seen as blaspheming his demigod.

"I hate the idea that you have to pay a penalty, but at the same time, it helps other people," said Moon, who's in his early twenties. "It really helps society, but society has to be forced to help society." [emphasis added]

Yet another example of how youth is wasted on the young, along with critical thinking ability - something which this tyke has obviously never been taught.  How does being fined for not being able to afford the exorbitant comprehensive O-Care coverage Mr. Moon doesn't need "help" anybody else?  And whom does it "help"?  "Society"?  If "society" is helping "society," isn't that tantamount to saying that "society" is helping itself?  And doesn't that run diametrically counter to everything ObamaCare stands for?  And why would society have to be forced to help itself?  I fear this lad is hopelessly confused, although he appears to have a sufficient modicum of mental acumen to realize the cash that's being unjustly syphoned out of his wallet.  Thus, his emotional conundrum and cognitive dissonance.  He's been brainwashed into believing that getting screwed by the government is "social justice" as long as (1) the right people get screwed (i.e. "the rich") and (2) he is exempt from it.

The fact that he is "conflicted" about this shows that perhaps there is hope for Mr. Moon yet.  Too bad his and his generation's idiotic 2008 and 2012 votes have rendered it far too late for his gradual ideological awakening to do him any practical good.  An expensive lesson, indeed.

Exit question: Anybody have Mr. Moon's address so I can send him regular bills for my eventual part of this fiasco?

Obama Forces Soldiers To Move Their Wedding So He Can "Play Through"

by JASmius

Being king means never even having to yell, "FORE!":

Natalie Heimel and her fiancé, Edward Mallue Jr., a pair of captains in the Army, were walking from their wedding rehearsal on Saturday at the 16th tee box at Kaneohe Klipper Golf Course in Hawaii when they were informed they’d have to move their wedding, scheduled for the next day.

President Barack Obama wanted to play through.

You thought I was kidding with that headline, didn't you?

It was the second time that day that the couple heard from the nation’s commander in chief, whose affinity for golf has, at times, caused political headaches for the White House. Stationed in Hawaii and knowing the president spends his Christmas holiday on the islands, they invited him to their ceremony on a lark. They had received a letter earlier on Saturday saying Obama regretted he couldn’t come and wishing them happiness on their wedding day.

Not "couldn't"; wouldn't.  Because he always has so much "presidential stuff" on his agenda - like his ten billion and third round of divot-launching - that he just wouldn't have had the time.

“It was kind of ironic they got the letter from them and then, within hours, they were told they had to be moved due to him,” Jamie McCarthy, Mallue’s sister, said in an interview. “It was emotional, especially for her—she’s the bride and in less than 24 hours they had to change everything they had planned.”

As Warner Todd Huston put it, "not only could he have attended because, after all, he was right there, but he made the couple move to a different location so he could skip their wedding and play golf."  Or just one more "F-you" to our men and women in uniform.

Exit question: If the two soldiers in question had been of the same gender, do you s'pose O might just have set aside his eighteen holes, showed up, elbowed the officiator aside, and conducted the ceremony himself?

Al Jazeera wants Mr. Constitution

By Douglas V. Gibbs

Last July, I was on Al Jazeera America to discuss the immigration issue.  I was asked to be on the show because of my involvement in the protests in Murrieta that ultimately resulted in turning around buses full of illegal aliens from originally from the Rio Grande Valley in Texas.

I just got off the phone with Al Jazeera America, and tomorrow morning they will have me on to talk about the immigration issue, again.  I am pretty jazzed because this will be an opportunity on television to discuss the issue in more depth than I was able to before, through the lens of the Constitution, on a major national network.

I will post details as they come available.

Obama Breaks With UAE & Own FBI, Embraces CAIR

by JASmius

Methinks this is more than just blind multiculturalism and ideological stubbornness:

Representative Michele Bachmann, R-MN6, had a succinct analysis of the Obama administration’s latest diplomatic move and how it appeared to conflict with FBI’s own assessment.

“The president is going exactly in the opposite direction of trying to stamp out terrorism,” she told WND upon hearing why Obama administration officials had huddled earlier in the week with representatives from the Council on American-Islamic Relations, or CAIR, and the Muslim American Society, or MAS.

According to a statement on CAIR’s website, representatives from the two U.S.-based Islamic groups met with senior government officials on December 22, and pledged to work together to counter a decision by the United Arab Emirates, or UAE, on November 15th, to put CAIR and MAS on its list of foreign terrorist groups.

The UAE also outlawed the two organizations and declared CAIR and MAS to be front groups for the terrorist organization the Muslim Brotherhood.

The FBI severed contacts with CAIR in 2009 as “not an appropriate liaison partner” for the bureau because of evidence linking the group and its founders to Hamas, which the U.S. lists as a terrorist organization. Hamas runs Gaza and was founded as an offshoot of the jihadist organization the Muslim Brotherhood, based in Egypt.

“It’s interesting that the administration has parted ways with it’s own position and is now meeting with a U.S. court designated co-conspirator of terrorist financing,” observed Bachmann. [emphases added]

Let's add this up: Not only did The One's own FBI break contact with CAIR five years ago because they were proven to be a jihadist front group, but even some Muslim countries are doing the same.

And yet Barack Obama, as per usual, doubles down and embraces the Muslim Brotherhood even more passionately:

Nonetheless, on Monday, State Department spokesman Jeff Rathke said, “The United States does not consider these U.S. organizations (CAIR and MAS) to be terrorist organizations” and had asked the UAE for more information on the decision. When a reporter noted the head of CAIR has been a White House guest and frequently visits the State Department, Rathke claimed CAIR was just one of many “faith-based groups” which had met with U.S. government officials.

Breathtakingly outrageous effrontery, isn't it?  Especially in light of something the FBI found at a CAIR safe house in Northern Virginia:

But former FBI agent John Guandolo, who helped draft the anti-Brotherhood bill, said the administration’s view is ill-informed.

The bureau’s foremost expert on the Brotherhood network, Guandolo helped uncover a Brotherhood conspiracy to overthrow the United States by “civilization jihad” following a raid on a suspected terrorist’s home in Northern Virginia.

Author of “Raising a Jihadi Generation: Understanding the Muslim Brotherhood Movement in America,” the veteran agent warns that “America faces an insurgency inside our homeland” from the Brotherhood.

“This is an enemy who is cunning, patient, well-supported and well-organized,” he said.

Including, it would seem, by the Obama Regime.

I have never been among those who have accused Barack Obama of being a closet jihadist, primarily because I have never been able to see him being willing to take a demotion and place himself beneath any other "god".  But this Muslim Brotherhood fetish of his appears to be a whole helluva lot more than an "infatuation," but a full-fledged, torrid, "sloppy seconds" love affair that is much more than just "inappropriate" for a POTUS, but downright dangerous - and even, dare I say it, even....treasonous.

Exit thought: If Barack Obama ever is gotten out of power, by one means or another, I have to wonder both at all the revelations that will come out about which we still don't yet know, and whether any of them will be any more surprising to those of us in the know than the ones of which we're already aware.
