Joker in the White House

When the Obama-Joker posters began to appear in Los Angeles, it gave me a little chuckle. I mean, think about it. The Joker in The Dark Knight was more of an anarchist, than a big government, totalitarian fascist like Barack Obama. Nonetheless, the appearance of these posters may be indicative of the growing discontent by the public with the Obama Administration. In fact, it seems there is a growing trend of people willing to lash out at Obama and his idiotic policies at townhall meetings too.

What? You haven't heard about folks upset at local townhall meetings with their representatives, and then morons like Robert Gibbs and Dick Durbin calling these incidents as manufactured anger?

That's because you are watching the mainstream press, and they are pretending that American outrage at the Obama Administration doesn't exist. Most of America is against his policies, especially this catastrophic health care boondoggle. But, you wouldn't know it by listening to the press. These are the people who told you that on Tax Day, when all of those tea parties were erupting, that only a few hundred folks were at the Tea Parties. Final count was over a million nationwide. Then these idiots said that it was organized by the conservative talkers, which again was wrong. It was completely grass roots. Besides, you'd think Obama would appreciate such a movement - after all, wasn't he a community organizer?

Oh, I forgot the double-standard rules. If liberal freaks get together for anti-war rallies, or chain themselves to the front door of a military recruiting center, then dissent is patriotic, and it is the anger of the American people being displayed. But, if anyone dares to protest against The Left, it is manufactured, or it is a bunch of crazy extremists that only represent a small fringe.

Hmmm, that is a lot of crazy fringe people, then, that are against Obama's policies, or which most are shot down by more than half of the American People!

Anyway, back to the Joker Poster: The word "socialism" is printed below Obama's Joker image on the poster, bringing it back into the realm of honesty.

Media folks don't know how to respond to it (sort of like they didn 't know how to respond to the Tea Parties - so they act like they didn't exist). Most are simply reporting the appearance of the poster as news, if they are reporting it at all. ABC News is calling it "guerrilla art." The Los Angeles Times is especially confused. Since the LA area overwhelmingly voted for Barack Obama in the presidential election, they can't figure out how it could be possible that a critique of President Obama, and his fascist issues, could start, of all places, on the streets of Los Angeles.

The American Thinker sees this as a beginning trend, signalling that this is only the start of a landslide of open mockery of Barack Obama, as disillusionment sets in with the man, his policies, and the phony image of a race-healing, brilliant, scholarly, middle-of-the-roader.

Los Angeles Urban Policy Roundtable President Earl Ofari Hutchinson is calling the depiction politically mean-spirited and dangerous. I am sure, however, that Mr. Hutchinson did not feel the same way when a depiction of George W. Bush as The Joker appeared in Vanity Fair July 29, 2008.

Anyway, as I said earlier, I don't know if the depiction of Obama as The Joker is entirely accurate, since as an anarchist The Joker sits on the opposite end of the Political Spectrum. As stated in the cartoon below by William Warren, Obama more closely resembles Two-Face.
