Millions March on Washington DC in Support of the United States Constitution

By Douglas V. Gibbs

Millions. Specifically, 2.1 million people descended upon Washington DC in the largest Tea Party to date. The Tea Party Express ended its nationwide journey in Washington DC, and the American People responded.

MSNBC is reporting less than 10 thousand people were at today's event. CNN reported "thousands." Fox News has been reporting all day that "tens of thousands" of "Fiscally Conservative Americans" attended today's massive rally.

I spent the day on the air with, and on the phone with, a dozen or so people who went to Washington DC to be a part of this event. Each of them told me, before the tally was even figured out, that it had to be at least a million people. Then, many of them told me, after consulting with the Capital Police that the estimate is 2.1 million people.

Loki handed out a hundred pocket Constitutions in less than five minutes.

And guess what - these people were not just conservatives, as Fox News suggested.

First hand reports reveal that the people at this rally weren't just a bunch of right-wingers. The 2.1 million people at this event in Washington DC were Republicans, Independents and Democrats. Among them were people that voted for Obama, and are now sorry they did. One person told me there were many wearing shirts that said they voted for Obama, and now wanted to give back his change.

2.1 million people in Washington DC, and this doesn't even consider the "at least 25 events" across the state of Florida, tea party events in Los Angeles, San Diego, Orange County, and all points in between. From Alaska to Florida, and New York to Hawaii, the American People are fed up.

One of the listeners of Blog Talk Radio told me he had a liberal friend that made the comment to him that he couldn't believe so many people were marching on Washington to protest the Health Care Bill.

This is what these people think. This is how small minded the liberal left truly is. The ignorance of these people astounds me.

Read carefully. The nationwide rally was about more than just taxes, deficit spending, health care reform, or the socialist policies that the Left is trying to ram down the throats of the American People. The protests were about more than Obama, or the Democrats. The anger is directed at more than just the liberal left politicians, and the RINOs of the Republican Party.

The rallies across America are about the U.S. Constitution, and the federal government's inability to abide by the law of the land.

America has been taken out of the hands of The People, and has been grabbed by forceful deception by the political class. Government seems to think that we are supposed to serve the state. Obama declared the day of remembrance of 9/11 to be National Service Day. In other words, his way of remembering the dead is to encourage you to serve the state.

Obama, and all of the other cockroaches of Washington, are supposed to be serving the people. But they are too immersed in their own illusion of power that they can't see the truth.

Government has grown to proportions that far exceed what the Founding Fathers intended, and the American People are not going to take it any more.

The Radicals of the Obama Administration, and the Democratic Party, have awakened a sleeping giant. Most of this country is conservative. Most of the voters are conservative. Most of them stayed home in 2008 and 2006, and now they regret it.

However, that does not let the GOP off the hook. After all, the Republican Party has its share of cockroaches too.

And like the cockroaches they are, when the Tea Party Express road into town, the cockroaches scattered - King Cockroach, a.k.a. Barack Hussein Obama, went to Minnesota to defend his Health Care garbage with a quickly dwindling number of his supporters.

He wasn't man enough to stand up against the Tea Party'rs, and neither was the press.

Note that there was no violence, and Washington DC was cleaner after the event. Unlike the grounds of Washington DC after the Obama Inauguration, and the DNC Convention in Denver, today Washington DC wasn't left covered with garbage and discarded American Flags. The opponents of Leftism has much more class than that.

Quite telling of the difference between the Right and the Left, isn't it?

As for those non-conservatives at today's Tea Party, I am willing to bet they will consider themselves Conservative soon.

The far left element of American Politics desires to change the American Form of Government at its foundational level, and we will not let the un-American traitors of the Democratic Party do it. We are stopping them now. We will not let them change America into something it was never intended to be.

But this is just another step in the journey. If this is the last step, the movement will stop here, and the Left will complete its treasonous attempt to force socialistic ideals, like Universal Medicine, on America.

We must be vigilant. We must continue.

United We Stand, Combined We Kick Butt.

Keep stepping forward. Continue the journey. Continue to do what it takes to place America back in the hands of its people.

Note: after Bigfoot in the comment section indicated the above video was shut down, I added the one below to give you a good look at what 2 million people look like in Washington DC.

Added Note: I was told later that buses were still arriving, and people were still walking in, and that the number would have been much higher than 2.1 million had the city not shut down incoming traffic. The Capital Police were expecting no more than 500,000, originally.
